High School Musical stars and BFFs Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale were on American Idol last night for a hot second. To help raise money for Idol Gives Back, Ashnessa said,
“Hey everyone, we’re in Utah on the set of High School Musical 3, so we can’t be there tonight but we wanted to wish you all good luck.
“Remember, there are people all over the world who need food, shelter and medicine. Tonight, we can all do somethingn for them. Kids, dig into your piggy banks and parents, dig into your wallets.
“We’re all in this together, so pick up that phone and do whatever you can. Good night and thank you!”

It is clear that we can not just rely on Hollywood Records anymore. They inadvertedly issued us a challenge and we at VABN are taking them up on it. We strongly believe that as one cohesive alliance/network, we can make an impact.
Let’s do this; let’s show our support! So what do you say? Are you with us in this alliance? I was really impressed with the number of celebrities that came out last night for the fundraiser, and it’s always nice to see Ashley and Vanessa together, especially for a good cause! They look happy and relaxed, after a few months of hellish schedules and traveling!
Love this video of the girls. Good to see all the young people getting involved to help less fortunate children. I work in an elementary school with kids who are low income, as a reading tutor, and I see and hear what they go through . So glad people are so willing to help these kids.
Vanessa and Ashley both look really tired. I’m sure they are working long days preparing for the filming coming soon.

She’d mentioned that she’ll let us know soon. They first want to agree an action plan together and then feed through to fans. I think VABN wants to work together with all known Vanessa fansites/forums so that information is co-ordinated and accessible to all fans.

Hollywood Records sucks, especially since they’re doing such a poor job of advertising Vanessa’s album. If she did she would do things for groups that help developmentally disabled people form friendships and social skills. Oh wait there two threads here: “Vanessa Hudgens is a Bowling Babe” from October and “Vanessa Hudgens with Best Buddies” from December show her giving time to Best Buddies International an organization that does that very thing.
Well its not like she helps sick kids or anything what a….no, no wait here we have “Vanessa Hudgens at Variety’s Power of Youth”also from October. Where she attending an event hosted by showbiz bible Variety to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Thanks Amy, you are observant. I was thinking the rest of the cast are already in week 2 of practice and Zac will have alot of catching up to do if he does manage to get into Utah by the weekend or even worse sometime next week.
I’m sure Kenny Ortega would have to arrange for special one on one sessions with Zac as the show can’t go on without him. Kenny will always go the extra mile for Zac. Well, Zac has certainly got his plate full to the brim. No time for relaxation, I think with these movies over lapping.

I’m not American and know nothing about the tabloids or the Media out there so please tell me something: were Zac and Vanessa the first stars to have a “couple nickname” or was it common there to use names like “Brangelina”, “Jashley” and things like that before the name “Zanessa” was created by fans? Because I find using these nicks quite annyoing. Sure, it is easier to write “Ashnessa” or “Vashley” but it really drives me crazy.
Of course, I love the name “Zanessa” because I think it is original in a way but I’m not so sure Zac and Vanessa actually fancy it. I know they said they find it funny and crazy but I belive they would rather be Zac and Vanessa, don’t you think?

Some of the name combinations are hilarious, I guess I’m just indifferent to them, they don’t really bother me. However, as you said, I don’t think Vanessa and Zac really like it. Recently, I’ve been trying not to use it personally just to recognise that they are still separate individuals even though they are a couple.
Having said that, it’s so widespread that they have to learn not to mind. i don’t think any harm is meant by it.

I hope that they don’t have Sharpay tying to come between Troy and Gabriella as they already did that in HSM2 and it does’nt sound right that they would repeat it in 3 considering that this one is a big thatre release.
With these kind of reports you never know how much they change things just to get a reaction, I think that Ashley is great as Sharpay though she can be so devious but not in a really nasty way.
Although seeings it’s bout Prom I an imagine that she won’t be happy unless she is crowned Prom Queen and obvioulsy she would want Troy by her side as Pom King as she has always had a thing for him, so the situation could be quite funny.
Can’t wait to see how they are going to work the new people into the story sould be good.
