“Sneakernight” is off of V’s new sophomore album.

Ok, Ok, I’ve had enough of the nasty comments on here. Everyone is entitiled to their opinion, whatever that may be, but you can state it as to whether you like it or not or whatever, but you don’t have to resort to name calling and attacking Vanessa on a personal level.
Yes, she tried something new - I say kudos to her - what a brave, young, beautiful and talented lady. There’s a saying that sums it all up: if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten. There’s nothing wrong with changing and trying new things. Give the girl a break!
First time i listened to it, didnt really like it, Second time, starting to feel it.. Third time, ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

What the heck are all these haters commenting about???? Seriously the personal attacks on V are just ridiculous and way off base! Now going back to her new song….I’ve played it a couple of times and it’s really beginning to grow on me. I’ve actually changed my mind. The song is definitely catchy and is the kind that actually gets better once you hear it after a couple of times.

I like it. I think it’s a very different sound for her which is a good thing because she wouldn’t want to be riding in Disney’s coattails for the rest of her life would she? She sounds so grown up and mature. Who cares if the lyrics aren’t amazing. What song these days really does have amazing lyrics? Just have fun listening to it and stop caring so much. No one can deny that V’s talented.

I love Vanessa, really, but the first time I heard this I was like “…….”. Now, that I’ve listened to it and like comprehend it if ya know what I mean I’m starting to like it. It’s extremely catchy. Yeah, the lyrics aren’t “OMG SO SOULFOUL. MAKES MEH WANNA CRRYYY. :($%^^” like that, but who the hell cares? Sorry, but have some of you listened to the music that’s on the radio right now? Ha! I will definitely have to say that this song will have to grow on me and it already is in a way to be honest.
this song is pretty good, at first you dont really like it but after listening to it a couple times, it starts to grow on you
i like Vanessa but i didnt like the song it sounds like she was trying to hard. if this is any indication for her second album on how it will sound i dont think i will be buying it
I’ve just listhened to the song and it’s good a nice catchy song for dancing too.
Vanessa is growing up and by all accounts this album will portray that, why should’nt she try something different it’s her career after all, and you can’t please everybody all the time you will either like her album or not that’ everyone’s choice, but there’s no need to come on a thread and start throwing insults and calling her name’s. There’s a lovely invention called a ‘off’ button onthings so if you don’t like it when you hear it then just press thatbutton and the sound will be gone.
But I say good luck to her and I hope she contiunes to grow and enjoy what’s she’s doing, becuase with some people it does’nt matter what Vanessa does they will always find fault.
It was nice to see a new thread about her too.
