Leona Lewis is Bleeding Love @ Jimmy Kimmel
Singer Leona Lewis leaves the taping of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show in Hollywood on Saturday.
Leona is best known for winning X-Factor, an English equivalent of American Idol. She’s been on a promotional tour coinciding with the release of her single “Bleeding Love.”

Last month, Ms. Lewis, 23, performed on the Oprah Winfrey Show where Simon continually praised her talent.

I thought Pop Idol was the British show that American Idol came from. X factor just came out last year!

She has a giant voice but when she talks, she sounds so soft and sweet; love her!
Honestly, her voice is good, but that’s it. Sounds like a church singer, not as good as Celine, Whitney, Christina or Mariah who have bigger voices. It’s the song with deeper lyric n great melody. I think Better in Time is better than Bleeding Love. But i still love her. Young and talented. Leona rocks!

She’s got so much Talent bottled up inside I can’t wait to her sing more songs. I think Bleeding Love, even as popular as it is, does not do her voice justice.
Leona is an amazing talent, with an amazaing personality to match, just check her performing with IL DIVO on youtube, they couldnt even keep up… they got a bit distracted by her voice if you pay particular attention at one point in the video

She looks like my little niece - who is also biracial, part Black and part White (my brother’s wife who is Black looks slightly like a dark skinned version of Leona). Gorgeous woman. Great voice.
Jessie #10 - You are right, Amercian Idol is a ‘remake’ of the UK’s Pop Idol. But X-Factor is virtually the same thing, just a different title.
It amuses me that Simon Cowell is now big in the US lol.

i really didn’t like her at first. bleeding love took a while to grow on me. i love her new single better in time though. she’s really come into her own.

I agree - we ave to give it to the Brits, they have nad amazing singers over the lat 40 years - amazing! Sade, Leona, Corinne Bailey Ray , Dusty Springfield, Joan Armatring (Britihs, right?), The Stones, The Beatles, Annie Lennox, Chrissie Hynde’s and the Pretenders - amazing British music!
I love watching Leona’s journey. She deserves every bit of success and more. She’s such a sweet person with an awesome talent.
