OlderDaniel Craig Has Flashbacks of a Fool
Daniel Craig and his piercing blue eyes heat up the red carpet at the premiere of Flashbacks of a Fool at the Empire Cinema, Leicester Square on Sunday in London, England.
Craig, 40, was accompanied by longtime girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell.
In the film, the 007 actor stars as Joe Scot, an fading British actor who having had a good run in Hollywood but is now on his way out. Scot looks back at the days of his youth as he returns home from his best friend’s funeral.
“He has failed as a human being, and I wanted to explore that,” Craig told reporters at the premiere. “I think you have to work hard at not becoming disillusioned about what you do for a living. If you have any success in what you do for a living, you have to maintain an energy and love of it. If you can, that’s a great thing.”
Flashbacks of a Fool opens in the UK on Friday, April 18. No US release date has been set yet.

I’m sorry but i still don’t believe that the only reason Satsuki is with Daniel is for his money. I think it’s genuinely for love. I just can’t see Daniel being fooled by a gold digger. And dare i say it without you all having a go at me, i genuinely don’t believe Satsuki is a gold digger. This is love and it’s going to last.

How can any of you be so damn sure that all that Satsuki wants is his money?? Someone please explain why you know or think that she doesn’t love him? You don’t give up your life and career to follow someone around the world who you don’t love. Come on let’s face it spending day after day, month after month hanging around a film set, away from your life, family and friends, watching your partner work doesn’t sound like a fun to me.
You make it sound as though she gave up a glamours life for a crappy one which we both know is not the case. Her life if much more exciting with Dan than without and he has provided an opportuinity for her she never would have had otherwise so don’t make it sound as though she is a saint for being fortunate. Many women would do what she is doing love or not, Her salary has probably more than tripled since meeting Dan and her circle of friends improved.

Many people think she gave up something wonderful for something worse. She was a PA for god sake not a Producer. She is travelling the world, and exposed to much more than she would have if she were not with Daniel, And as for her being with him before he was Bond, that was already in the works she knew he had alot of potential and eveyone knew she wanted to bag a successful actor, she was looking for one. I am tired of people who claim to know her making her sound like saint as well and she and Daniel are so loved up etc. He fooled around on her and she is still there. not a woman that has alot of respect for herself

satsuki is one smart girl. she has found herself a successful actor who is making a lot of money. he can provide her with the money to buy all those dresses that she’s been seen in. true, daniel did cheat on her but she is not the first woman to take her partner back. nor will she be the last. why should she walk away from daniel when she has it so good. i mean, if you believe the press, satsuki has a very large diamond engagement ring and they are going to be married as soon as the filming of bond 22 finishes.

I kept thinking the pattern on Satsuki’s dress reminded me of something then I realized it was the upholstery on a sofa in a castle in France. Lets hope one day she gets it right, she makes Daniel look really bad as she is a reflection on him. But I still wish them all the best in there relationship
Only those who know Satsuki can comment on her life before Daniel. I never said she gave up a glamorous life or anything, but to be with someone all the time the way her and Daniel are, she must have given up something. And you really need to love someone to be there 24hrs a day, day after day, month after month, that’s commitment and devotion whatever you might say or think.
You people talk as if Daniel is some love struck teen who doesn’t know any better. This man is 40 years old, and he’s been around. I’m sure he’s had his share of women, and he knows when he’s been played. Whatever he and Satsuki got going on, you better believe it’s something they BOTH agreed upon.
Ultimately it’s HIS decision to be with her, for whatever reason. I say live and let live. More power to them. Besides, their being together doesn’t affect any of OUR lives anyway!
I totally agree with everything you’ve said Miss Information, i was just trying to get a point across that Daniel would not be fooled by a gold digger. Satsuki is not a gold digger, this relationship doesn’t take any of his talent away, he’s still gorgeous and sexy. I think she gives him alot of support, more than some people would be willing to give.
She loves his MONEY period, and she’ll do what she has to in order to keep it in her vlife. Some men are pretty oblivious.

The only thing ‘obvious’ here is that YOU only see what YOU want to see. Doesn’t make it a fact, only YOUR opinion. You THINK you know what’s going on in these people’s lives, but you don’t know anything. That fact remains, it doesn’t matter what we think.
They have their reasons for being together and that’s ALL that matters. Saying that she is with him for money isn’t going to change a thing, but if it makes you feel better to say that, then by all means, don’t let any of us stop you. Will it make Daniel leave her because you say that? Hell No!
I always thought it seemed odd the way she always has to be 2 inches away in 95% of his pictures. But it does seem as if she guards him as if to keep other women away. Funny thing though, she seems so unattractive and mannish. To my mind, it appears abnormal and annoying even. Really wierd. Not a good foundation for a marriage. I also agree that his money is certainly a factor in why she is there. That is hilarious that her dress matches a couch. cheers
