David Beckham’s Galaxy Shattered

The LA Galaxy with David Beckham played Toronto FC at the Home Depot in Carson, where they lost 3-2 on Sunday.

In the crowd were Victoria Beckham with the Beckham boys, Brooklyn, Romeo & Cruz. Kate Beckinsale, husband Len Wiseman and daughter Lily were also in the stands for support!

The LA Galaxy faced a humiliating 3-2 loss to Toronto, a team which had the worst record in the league entering Sunday.

Despite the tough loss, David tried to remain as optimistic as possible. “Three games into the season we can’t panic too much, though we’re disappointed today, people are starting to panic too much.”

Funny how you choose to talk about that game and not last week’s game where they won 2-0 and David scored.
Anyway, David had a good game, did what he had to do, provide good chances of goals, but the Galaxy forwards are incapable of putting the ball in the net, it was sad to see it.
The Galaxy didn’t play bad, they just have a terrible central defender, who gave Toronto their 3 goals.

Houston and San Jose have the worst record in the season so far, it wasn’t Toronto. And the season is only 3 games in, I think it’s a bit premature to even say which team “is the worst in the league” when you only should say that at the halfway point of the season or at the end.

I was there! It was hot as hell and I didn’t see victoria (but i looked!). I thought I saw the Brooklyn & Romeo in a box, but I couldn’t be sure. I had 5th row seats from the field, but on the other side of the boxes.

He played good and created many chances it’s shame they didn’t score,he can’t create and score at the same time…Galaxy played not bad exept defender that droped all three….

There are much better players in the game than Beck, his time is up and people should recognize that.

He is such an overhyped but used up sellout. And Over-paid too, serioulsy if a team with HIM as their star player can lose to a team like Toronto’s, that’s barely ever one a game since their inception…then you know its time to just let go… and at least go with some dignity (if that’s even possible for him..lol)

It’s marketing. “Football” is not a popular sport in North America.

Beckham is the not best football player, but he is HUGE with the marketing stuff…that’s why he’s here.

It’s a shame because some the real gifted players are left out. I hope Galaxy stays in the bottom.

Becks has never claimed to be the best player in the world but he hasnt got where he is by not being good at what he does. He hasnt fooled the best managers in the game.

And please, a player does not win a match - it requires a team effort just like any team sport. Even with Zidane in their team, I’m pretty sure the Galaxy would still lose games.

IMO seems like Kate Beckinsale is becoming Victoria’s new BFF, instead of Katie Holmes. I’m guessing how long it will take to Vic to trasform even Kate B. in a poor toothpick who collapses on the streets…

Beckham sucks! He should retire already, he’s getting too old,he can hardly even go past players.

Posh just wants to hang around with celebs, and go shopping. She’s no fashionista thats for sure.
