Gwyneth Paltrow brings a superhero flair to her high glam look on the May 2008 cover of Vogue.
“I simplify everything,” Ms. Paltrow tells Vogue on juggling her kids, career and husband Chris Martin.
According to FWD, the 35-year-old actress is wearing a gold, tissue-lame, embroidered Pre-Fall 2008 dress by Oscar de la Renta and Robert Lee Morris cuffs.
Gwyn is resting her elbow on an Iron Man mask. The superhero flick flies in theaters nationwide on May 2.

oh god…I will not be looking forward to my May issue of Vogue arriving in the mail. I HATE her. Why does Anna Wintour keep putting her on the cover? She has **** style now and is doing **** films. And whenever I read about what the general public has to say about her, it is usually negative. There are some die hard fans who actually believe that she is nice and pretty but the general sentiment is that she is self-absorbed, elitist, a *****, and a tranny. Stop putting her on magazine covers! As if she is going to have anything interesting to say. Her last vogue article was about kids, marriage, and juggling work. BORING!

photoshopping is and has been a huge part of media for a while now. GET OVER IT. i’m sure if one of the haters actually gets to be on a magazine cover, chances of that happening are super slim to none, others will be quick to point out PHOTOSHOP THIS TRANNY MESS THAT.

The dress is beautiful but I’m also disappointed they chose Gwyneth. She hasn’t been a style icon for a long time. The Vogue covers of late are becoming very generic.

Why is Fishsticks still on all these covers and treated like she’s still relevant? She’s over. No one liked her because of her snooty attitude and stupid pretentious comments she makes in the press. In the 90s when she was letting her fame get to her head she went in this one interview going on about how she is an icon and everyone copies her style and she invented long hair. And her mother was telling the press she is the new Grace Kelly. Please Gwyneth you are and never was Grace Kelly get over yourself.

I also posted on this thread that I dislike her and wish she was not on the cover of Vogue. I don’t actually hate a lot of celebrities but there is just something about Gwyneth that rubs me the wrong way and I am entitled to say so just as you have the right to share your opinion.

Right on target Lola #65…this chick bugs me to no end…and she so obviously idolizes Madonna…in fact I recall hearing Madonna ditched her for a while because she felt GP was copying her…funny how she cut her hair recently to Madonna length. This picture makes her look 13.. I always thought she resembled Howdy Doody. GP dressed in Couture is all wrong. She can not come close to pulling it off. She has very little elegance. By the way, the recent hospitalization was due to a miscarriage from what I hear through the grapevine here in Hollywood. Maybe the macro diet isn’t so sound after all. Gone are the days when real models graced covers.

What did they do to her head? It looks detached from her body.
First of all, the **** she’s disliked for saying…she never said it. It was tabloid trash.
Second she’s in one of the biggest blockbusters coming out this year so I don’t think her careers over just yet.
She is still a fashion icon. Anything she wears sells out worldwide. For example, the dress to wore to Madonna’s UN benefit sold out within hours of the pictures hitting the press.
And finally some of you are acting like the airbrushing is somehow her fault. Go and talk **** to the guy who did it.
the magazine cover is awkard looking. gwyneth looked force to strike that expression or something. but i love the set, dress, weird robot for the cover. if only gwyneth was more graceful.
the cover is not exactly outstanding, but it’s not the worst case of photoshop either. too much negativity towards someone we don’t really know. chill people. she’s not the queen of the masses (unlike say ms.jolie) , but you have to admit that gwyneth was and still a fashion media darling.

Tabitha, I agree with you and alot of the other posters. I also think Gwyneth is a washed up has been. The only way she gets work is because of family ties. She needs to re-invent herself or drop out because what she and her people are pushing we the public don’t want nothing to do with it. I will NOT see Ironman or any other movie she is in. Well, I do not read tabloids and that stuff Gwyneth’s generally ‘disliked’ for saying comes from reputable publications like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and The Times.

Did anyone read the article? In it, Gwynnie talks about how she “simplifies everything,” and then the obsequious reporter follows her around on a typical day of elite shopping and Black-berrying and ego-babble. My favorite was the description of her weekends back in Merry Olde England: arriving in hunting tweeds at some private estate and then dressing every night for dinner in “haute couture.” Simplify– hah!
