Cate Blanchett and director husband Andrew Upton welcomed their third son on Sunday in Sydney Australia..
Ignatius Martin Upton weighed in at just over 8 lbs. He joins big brothers Dashiell John, 6, and Roman Robert, almost 4.
Blanchett and family were seen out and about just this past Friday!
Congrats to Cate the Great!

I think IGNATIUS Is an awful name and it just begs to be shortened to “Iggy” which is equally horrifying.
Congratulations to Cate and family!
Love the name, very strong, and most important has a meaning, not like other people in HW, that name their children after a object, or a movie caracter or diseases, some strange things.
Oh. a christian name in HW, we don’t see that very often.lol.

Not that I care, mind you, but why is my post STILL being withheld? I can’t for the life of me figure out why.
For all those people hung up over the name- get over it, it’s not your choice and Cate and Andrew obviously like it.
Beside, who said he’s gonna get Iggy, there are other names the kid could get too, like ‘Nate’. And there’s nothing at all ‘wrong’ with that….
Ignatius? Good Grief. Just write beat me up on the kids forehead. Let’s hope they call him Iggy.
what’s up with celebs and the old and weird names they pick for their kids. what the hell she gonna call ignatius for pet name? should have been martin first.
