Ignatius Upton: Cate Blanchett’s New Son!

Cate Blanchett and director husband Andrew Upton welcomed their third son on Sunday in Sydney Australia..

Ignatius Martin Upton weighed in at just over 8 lbs. He joins big brothers Dashiell John, 6, and Roman Robert, almost 4.

Blanchett and family were seen out and about just this past Friday!

Congrats to Cate the Great!

Elizabeth didn’t bomb, it didn’t pretty darn good for a film about the Elizabethan times, not to mention its several oscar nominations (and win).

Lol @ the idiots discounting her films because the only sh** they connect to is tried and played out, generic commercialized films. She already acknowledged the kind of films she does aren’t always “popular”, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t critically acclaimed.

I think IGNATIUS Is an awful name and it just begs to be shortened to “Iggy” which is equally horrifying.

Love the name, very strong, and most important has a meaning, not like other people in HW, that name their children after a object, or a movie caracter or diseases, some strange things.

For all those people hung up over the name- get over it, it’s not your choice and Cate and Andrew obviously like it.
Beside, who said he’s gonna get Iggy, there are other names the kid could get too, like ‘Nate’. And there’s nothing at all ‘wrong’ with that….
