Jennifer Lopez Baptizes Her Twins
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony baptized their healthy boy and girl twins, Max and Emme, on Saturday at a church in Long Island, NY, just miles from their Brookville home.
According to In Touch, the intimate ceremony, attended by only their closest friends and family members, was followed by a reception at Jennifer and Marc’s estate.
J.Lo gave birth to Max and Emme about seven weeks ago–on February 22.

Exactly because htey can’t make their decision doesn’t mean the parents have to make and force one on them. You should teach your kids a life without religion, with secular values and principles and if after that when they are old enough to understand what religion is and what being part of a religious cult means, than let them bewhat ever they want.
and I know that’s what catholics do, that’s what was done to me when I was a child.

That’s silly. A parent’s job is to teach children values and morals that they believe are correct and then if the children do not agree when they get older they can go their own way.
Obviously you will teach your child secular values and morals without religion because that is how you do things just like parents who believe in religion do the same.
You’re basically preaching that parents should do things your way instead of their way. It is not wrong to believe in religion and it is not wrong to not believe in religion.
All parents raise children based on their own beliefs.
Also using the words religious cult shows your obvious bias, which i’m sure when or if you have children you will also ingrain in them. It’s exactly the same thing you’re preaching against.
Why does Jennifer lopez have the need to advertize everything about her kids. Geez It’s not like the world cares that her babies were baptized MILLIONS do it all the time. Beach ball, don’t be silly. Human being do not wait until they are grown up to form values. Our beliefs and values are formed while we are growing up. If parents do not teach their children their values while they are young, the rest of the world including school, the media, friends and now especially the Internet would have indoctrinated them already. How can children not be taught RELIGION/VALUES by their parents but left to make their own choices….FROM WHAT?? WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO CHOOSE FROM?? WHO WILL PRESENT THEM WITH THE OPTIONS FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE???

Sophie, you should learn more about religions and culture and then criticize, is like if I, a catholic were citicizing what people from other religion do,
1)I want to criticize with meaning, I should learn more about it first.
2) Who cares? It’s their choice. This is more to confort the parents and has a meaning to them just like in other religions the things they do have meaning to them.
Well I am biased here, because I will say that I like that they are doing things this ways, for a moment I believed that they were going for the sciento preached by Tom C.
