I thought that when he had Kate broke up he showed some class by not jumping into another relastionship right away. I don’t see how you can share yourself, not just phyically but emotionally with someone enough to create a deep bond, and then be with someone a few weeks later.

I think that once you have had several relationships like that, there is almost an inabity to let your guard down and really establish a deep intimacy It is all surface, looks, sex, having fun, there are very few real feelings involved. When things get hairy as they alwas do with people and one of them really needs something more than a good time, it is time to bail, If he got sick and could’t work, or was disfigured she would be so gone, and the same for him if it happened to her.
