A new promo picture of Vanessa Hudgens has surfaced from her sophomore album, Identified. Possibly artwork for her new album cover?

I think Vanessa is going to go wild after the whole HSM 3 thing blows over. seriously. I think she’ll be on the cover of Maxim or Blender or something to that extent. She already said she would love to do a mens magazine. I don’t think Vanessa was ever the “innocent” girl that her Gabriella character makes her seem like and everyone else seems to think of her.
Not that I don’t like Vanessa, I really do like Vanessa. but I don’t see her staying very “disney like” for too long after HSM 3 dies down. At the same time she’s 19 year old girl and can make her on decisions now.
Also, this sneaker night song has innuendos left and right. are we really supposed to believe she is talking about dancing in your sneakers “all night long”

For your information, all the promotional pictures get airbrushed nowadys. Boobs can be made to look bigger, noses narrower, double chins removed, complexions flawless and yes the stars are made slimmer,curvier with longer legs. How about that.

There was a picture of this fan who managed to get a photo along side Zac. She made some horrible remark about Vanessa. Obviously she’s a fan of Zac’s. Girls like these are the ones who wish it was them who was with Zac or that Zac was single so that they would have a glimmer of a chance that one fine day Zac would happen to be in their neighbourhood and take notice. It is ridiculous.

i have always been a good fan of vanessa, the one who just keep on ignoring what other people says about her (same with the others here as well) cause after all,everyones entitled to their own opinions, but yeah, it really do comes to a point that others had exceeded to the line where they are already hurting someones feelings. well,hello..reality-checked: vanessa’s a human being. she do got feelings too..i just dont know why do “others” still keeps on bashing her, when all they had to say is always been the same. it all still goes down to her “infamous naked photos”, i must admit that at first, i kinda lost my respect for her as an actress but also made me realize how much i really love vanessa. On her album title - Identified - it’s so apt as she is refusing to fall into any stereotype but is creating her own identity and niche in hollywood. It’s small, it’s still developing but it’s uniquely Vanessa.
I don’t know how her parents feel, but I couldn’t be more proud of her efforts and courage.

I think the picture looks gorgeous which is nothing new for Vanessa.
I just want to say I don’t get this “girl gone wild” stuff at all,. When has she ever “flaunted her sexuality?” She wasn’t doing that prescandal and I certainly haven’t seen her doing it since so what are people talking about. I accept she’s not all “sweet and innocnet” at least in the way people mean, and I never thought she was. She’s NOT really Gabriella after all. But that doesn’t mean she’s a “Bad girl” either. I don’t understand people’s insistence on putting her in that category I really don’t.
I was glad Blender gave “Sneaker Night” a postive review however I think they were really reaching on the innunedo business. Maybe I’m hopelessly naive but I don’t agree that its there at all. But that of course is just my opnion.

I love this picture and sneakernight. Of course she is maturing, did you expect her to stay the same age forever? If she had came out with a ballad the same people would have been saying she’s only good for one type of music. Her voice sound great and I will be supporting her new album. She has also stated that there are ballads on the album for those of you that miss them. Just chill she’s doing fine.

The fact that Vanessa looks a million times more flawless in her candid photos than in this airbrushed/photoshopped photo says a lot about how absolutely naturally stunning she is.
They really did not need to touch up Vanessa’s photos so much . She is beautiful the way she is. Looks like they changed the shape of her face some. I agree with Troy on the whole innuendo thing. I don’t really see it. I think people are reading into something that really may not be there. Anything can be made to sound sexual if you think about it enough. I agree with many of you who don’t get the “innuendo’ thing. I thing some people got together and couldn’t accept it for just a dance song with a good beat and decided to make it sound rather “dirty” so there would be those wo would start going “Yea, that’s really cool—I get it now” and thought it would make the song more popular—you know, dirt sells. I don’t think it is an intelligent way to help sell this CD.
Vanessa is a beautiful young woman and she doesn’t need to be SO airbrushed—-and certainly EVERY artist whether it be singer or actor gets pictures like these airbrushed. 99% of pictures you see in magazines and on jackets of CD’s are airbrushed and whatever else. Faith Hill and Jamie Lee Curtis have openly talked about this very thing. Why should Vanessa get so much heat for it? But I think what they did to try to make her “flawless” did just the opposite. Her face is not that long and narrow—not even in pictures where she is not smiling. She is beautiful here BUT would have been far more so if they had let her be more natural. On her first CD she is gorgeous and looks grown up—-and sexy if that’s what her people are going for—but she looks like Vanessa.
And yes, some of the same people who post stupid comments here go on every popular star’s threads and says the say thing. Someone was saying about George Clooney a few weeks ago “gay, gay, gay”. They are not any smarter on those thread than the are on Zac or Vanessa threads—their brain power and vocabulary still leave a lot to be desired.

I also agree with those of you who say that they touch up photos for all celebs. The difference here with Vanessa: We are so used to seeing unretouched paparazzi photos of her that show her in her natural state, so when a CD cover like this comes along…..WOW….way too obvious that it has been changed. And for what reason? This girl is gorgeous as she is. I wonder why she or her “people” didn’t have more creative control over this? She should have shot it down…had them leave it more natural. V’s a smart girl, she knows that her fans know her so well and would be distracted by the changes to her face.

I don’t get how some people think this beautiful picture is “too photoshopped’ or airbrushed. It’s a gorgeous artsy portrait of her, looking a little more serious and definitely more mature. A while back, some magazine did some REALLY weird artsy photos of her, and people thought they were so cool, even though those pics DID NOT look at all like her. I love this photo, because it has that artsy touch, and doesn’t just look like an everyday shot!!

for whoever is denying the innudendos and such that are in V’s sneakernight song, I think you are just in denial. The innuendos are very obviously there, and blender magazine even pointed out that there were inneundos. See the song as you want but you just seem naive. with all that aside, i think the song is a fun upbeat song and shows off a completely different range of her voice.
also, some of you may misconstrue my comment up there ^^ as saying i dont like vanessa, however I am a very big fan of vanessa and I look forward to her growing up and getting away from this “gabriella” character that everyone expects her to be exactly like. i do realize she is a 19 year old and shes not going to be the innocent 16 year old type character that I think half of you expect her to always be like. you can just tell that v has this fire in her eyes and she wants to break free of this “good girl” role. And no, I dont think v will be doing any “girls gone wild” things anytime soon..
as far as the “airbrushing” of this picture, I think she still looks beautiful but I think less is more and they should have let her natural beauty shine through a little more.

the picture is for her new ALBUM! seriously, she’s not gonna use a pic taken by paps for her new album, is she?? let’s be realistic here. she has to wear make-up, the cameras damage your skin! That’s why all actors wear so much make-up! almost every latina has wavy/curly hair that is really hard to handle, i know i do! they have to fix her hair every day?? who exactly is they? she doesn’t have a personal hairstylist that i’m aware of! correct me if i’m wrong. of course they “fix” her hair for photoshoots, music videos, movies. she usually wears her hair in her natural style, she just recently started wearing extensions again. she barely ever straightens her hair to just be at home or out and about. she wears VERY little make-up, even the paps said she wears none (which i doubt.) the dramatic make-up & the flowing, long hair is the whole idea of the picture! it’s supposed to make her look angelic or goddess-y. she already looks like a goddess everyday! i’d like to see a picture of you. you probably look as cruel as you write. but hey, since you have perfect hair & skin, i guess you don’t… ;-)

I think the only reason why they did that is because even they were given the song postive marks they felt-being the jaded sophisticated music journalists-they needed to somehow make it “cool.” So they had to “point out” all these innuendos. Because they couldn’t just give a fun upbeat dance song good marks just for being a fun upbeat dance song. And that’s all it is. I found myself rolling my eyes when I read that.

Otherwise, the song has really teeny-bopperish lyrics, and not the direction Vanessa is hoping to go. She wanted this to be more mature and edgy and singing about nights in sneakers just sounds too silly. But I do like the beat of the song, and her voice!!
I also agree she has a “fire” in her eyes, and is more of a woman than a girl. I think she has such a smoldering passion for life about her, and hope she makes good choices for herself.
