DAVID A needs to go! yeah he can sing, that is it! nothing else. it was as good as the judges were sayin. its like they’re tryin to get him to win.same type of performance every freaken night! ballads ballads ballads. nothing original. kid needs to stand up straight n get rid of the puppy dog act.
David cook n jason were both awesome the two best of the night. brooke was good, she shud make it to the final three with jason and david c! the other girls were pretty good.

And Carly. I thought she did amazing with her song and didn’t deserve the harsh criticism that she received from Randy and Simon. Especially in comparison to the crap that is most of David Archuleta’s voice.. and Syesha’s screaming.

i liked brooke this week, she wasn’t trying to copy mariah, she did her own version, though i have to agree with paula she sped up at the ending.
carly was so so, besides watching her i kept thinking bout the ken lee video haha

Brooke or Carly should be going home, Syesha was very impressive, and Kristy, was way better than what the judges said about her. I think sometimes their in studio sound, compared to television really is affected sometimes, and I feel that was the case. The guys were all great. I think Brooke will go home in tears, surprise right.

i voted for david archuleta all the way. David A. is so amazing and looked hot in those leather pants tonight. I can also say that David Cook did a wonderful job tonight as well and did make me cry there at the end it really touched me great job david cook. i think the top 3 will be david archuleta, david cook and jason castro but i think the next american idol will be david archuleta and then david cook will be the runner up. well see though.

David Cook’s brother (the one with cancer) was in the audience. He’s going to continue to be in LA to support David.. And David can feel as though he isn’t so far away from him.
I think that’s why he choked up a bit, the song was for his brother..

David Cook is the American Idol winner in my mind. David A. is good but far too young…just like Jordin Sparks last year. David A. sings the same type of songs each week. His voice is amazing; however, I highly doubt he can make it as a recording artist. Who would want to listen to slow old fashioned songs in their car or IPod????…not me. I would purchase a CD of David Cook’s though.

i love david archuleta. He has an amazing voice although i do wish he would do something other than ballads. I loved his first performance of “shop around.”
I also like David Cook but sometimes his performances come off like hes really cocky, but he has a really voice.
also a fan of brooke and jason.
David Cook’s arrangement for the song was very cool, but if you take away the band, his vocals were extremely poor.
I still don’t get the David A. phenomenon. He always sounds nasally to me.

“Without You” is such a tough song to sing and I thought Carly did a good job with it.
I don’t know why Randy and Simon are always so harsh on her.
She has that big voice and the the most range out of all the contestants.
If you watch the group performances on Wednesday nights she always outsings everyone.

so it wasn’t just me that thought the judges were too harsh on carly. not a big fan of her but i thought her performance was good. they were hard on carly but they always seem to pull the punches on brooke. not fair.

If I could vote (I’m Canadian) I would have been tying up my phone line to vote for David Cook. He is the most talented one on the show this season. I hope he takes it all the way. He was in the #1 slot on Dialidol.com too.
Also, does anyone actually like Kristy Lee Cook? I’m starting to think Vote for the Worst is the only reason she’s still around because I never see anyone saying they like her or vote for her. She should have been gone weeks ago.

Some were good, some were a disappointment. And why, oh why did Carly go and sing Without You? Kelly Clarkson sang that song during season one and it was probably one of the best performances of the whole series. She was good, but she can’t compare.
