she is sooo full of herself! Just cuz u have paparatzi doesn’t mean anything. It just means ppl r more interested in u, it doesn’t mean u have real talent. she’s just in all of it for the fame! man I just hate her!

I think in time Vanessa will become more polished with her interviews; Zac has stated he knows they’re waiting for him to mess up, she will learn that the press wants something to sell. A cute guy and girl in a relationship that’s working doesn’t . The public a large (not everyone so don’t take offense) want to hear the dirty details. If there are none the magazines make them up . They feed her questions to get the response they want to make her sound immature or conceited. Then the readers interpret it the way they want.

I think I used the wrong word. Not rehearsed as much as vague and generalised. It’s not actually a criticism, it’s the way forward in hollywood and Vanessa definitely has to acquire that, I’m only trying to enjoy her spontaneity before it becomes completely hidden and private, which is already happening.

I actually see Zac as very mature for his age and I agree with Karen about Vanessa being the more spontaneous and free spirited one that cannot completely be tamed. I cannot say with authority but from observing both of them, that appears to be part of what Zac finds appealing (opposites attract!).

My impression of Zac’s maturity comes from his conduct, his demeanor, his approach to his career, the choices he makes etc. I always disregard his interviews as they don’t tell me anything about him and there is a lot about him that is great. However, it irritates me to kingdom come when all that is highlighted is his so called hotness.

For instance, his approach to Vanessa’s scandal was way mature. I am in my thirties and lots of guys my age wouldn’t have pulled it off.

Just seeing candids of him and Bubba (who acted with him when they were thriteen or so ) tells me that he values his friends that he knew when he wasn’t so popular. Looking at candids of him with his brother, watching the road to HSM2, the fact that he hardly ever addresses rumors or accusations and so on, tells one so much more. Considering his age and circumstances, his head is very much in the right place.

My point is that there is so much substance in him that is not protrayed in his interviews which is why though I follow up on news about him, I tend to discount much of what he says in interviews, especially now that he is aware that his fanbase is made up of mostly teens.

Like I said, Vanessa will have to toe that line sooner or later. It’s inevitable once you become a public personae. I still think it’s a pity.

It’s kind of sad how the media (and those buying the ragazines/ feeding into the frenzy) want to see the ‘dirt’. What’s even more sad is when there is no juicy gossip on a star they are coined as ‘boring’. I’d rather he and Vanessa be ‘boring’ where I can be proud of them then partaking in what it means in this day in age with the media to be ‘cool’.

honestly i think it was her way of being nice about the papz and i dont think she sounds consided parts are missing and unless i hear it come out of her mouth i dont believe it…shes great if ur a fan stick with her if not then get lost….thanx jj

Sara, I know just went I started to think he had slipped into the country undetected there he was. He looks exhausted. I hope he get some rest but he’s playing catch up with the others in dance rehearsal.

I just finished my post and saw this post by JJ on American Idol.

‘When Simon Cowell was asked to pinpoint a collective flaw in the season 7 cast of American Idol, he told Variety:

“Personality. They are giving very safe answers to questions, making safe song selections. We are not getting a sense of who they are. We have to try to pull it out of them more.”’

This just buttresses my point. However, I will add that I don’t blame them as it appears that those that take risks get shot down, after all, Chris Daughtry was voted out during his season. Nowadays, everyone want stars to be clones, daring to be different and being yourself is now a risk. Just consider all the Vanessa bashing that goes on.

I don’t think Vanessa comes off as cocky and not modest at all .. I think she’s just a confident young mature woman and she isn’t holding back and being fake and innocent all the time.. She lays it on the line and says what she feels.. I hate it when celebs deliver fake interviews and only say things that are expected to come out .. She’s got that spicy side to her that i think separates her from the rest of HSM cast and Disney itself..

I know what you mean about the whole independent thing. For a country that really promotes individuality, many Americans seem to frown at other’s who don’t fit the mold. People like Vanessa, people who walk to a beat of their own drum and do things their own way, get bashed for being different, and it’s a shame too. It’s no fun when we’re all the same.

I love listening to Vanessa’s interviews. She’s a lot of fun, and she knows how to balance that fun while still keeping her privacy. Plus she speaks her mind and says it like it is. I’m the complete opposite of that, and while some would think I’d find the whole ’speak your mind’ thing obnoxious, I actually find it refreshing. Every once in a while, it’s good to hear what people REALLY think, rather than what they want you to think they think. Makes sense?

Like that whole “If you have paparazzi, you know you’ve gotten somewhere,” comment that she made, I’ve always thought that, and I know many other famous people have too. But none of them would ever have the guts to say it out loud, for fear of looking stuck up or concieted. But it’s true, so why should she get bashed for speaking the truth?

One thing I love about Vanessa Hudgens though, is that you’ll never find another girl like her. She’s special, and that’s why people are so interested in who she is and what she does.
