OlderDoug Pitt to Brother Brad: Let’s Care to Learn!
Doug Pitt, the younger brother of Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is speaking out about his “Care to Learn” Project, which is all about kids’ health, hunger and hygiene.
Says Doug, “The idea was to help kids that show up on a school day with an immediate need. We need to get to them quick, obviously. So we set up this fund to do just that. Last week, we had a kid need clothes and food. And within 20 minutes - from the phone call - counselors, teachers, principals, make a call to the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools. And they’re on it. They now have the funds to address that urgent need.”

Also a founder of the project is the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, a Humanitarian Fund supported by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

I absolutely love this project. What a great thing to do, I see kids at my daughter’s school all the time who could benefit from something like this. Doug is right, kids are kids….whether they are form Africa, America, Egypt…wherever…HUGE props to Doug Pitt for doing this and props to Brad for backing his brother up.
Doug is a good-looking guy….someone said something about how he doesn’t hold a candle to Brad…pfttt…whateva..lol…there are many men better-looking than Brad, he just has charisma that adds to his over all self. I would say the fact that they are loving siblings should mean more than whether one looks like the other
I can’t believe that the richest nation in the world who have the most sophisticated weapons on earth still have Kids going to school with inadequate food and cloth. I thought this only happen in the developing countries.

My teachers daughters found out he was in Shawnee for a family reunion and they followed him to the house, asked for a pic, but said no (I don’t blame them) and then they followed him to the airport and saw them leave!! She said the kids were playing in the front yard and everyone was having a good time!! So sweet!! His family is very nice!! I live in a town right next to Shawnee but go to a tech school there!

Shawnee OK is probably less than a one hour flight by jet from Austin. Very short flight and very possible for them have been in OK today. Brad’s birthplace. If true great that Angie and kids are interacting with other Brad family members in Shawnee, and that the little Jolie-Pitts are growing up knowing a big extended family.
Are Brad’s parents originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma?

Gosh I live not even two miles from that airport and i didn’t know anything.Oh well i would probably have been numb from shock if i was to see them.The Jolie-Pitts are the only stars i would love to see.I just love them they have such charisma.

Since it’s a slow night…I’ll post a little info on this week’s OuttaTouch story - “Brad Gets Porky”.
Okay…that’s not really the title of the story, but y’all have GOT to stop putting ideas out there for the fevered brains of the tabloid writers to use for their stupid stories. Because people were saying that Brad looked “fat” on AI…OuttaTouch has written a story about his “sympathy weight gain”. Their obligatory “friend of Brad’s” says Brad told him in a phone call that he’s got “love handles”. That’s a bold move from OuttaTouch. They usually go for second and third-hand quotes from “insiders” and “pals”…but they’re claiming a friend of Brad’s told them this directly. As. Fcuking. If. And if a friend of his really did do that…you can bet your ass they aren’t a FOB anymore.
The geniuses at OuttaTouch use this photo to show us a “thin” Brad and said BAAK (Before Angie And Kids) he used to work out 5 days a week…mainly to get the hell away from X (okay…I threw this part in…)…

Naturally you’re saying to yourself, “Gee, I wonder how OuttaTouch says Brad got so fat?” well…lemme tell ya…it’s that darned “sympathy eating”. cuz ya know Angie is eating for two and OuttaTouch’s shrinxpert says the husband gaining weight is a common occurance because they tend to indulge in the “cravings” along with the baby mama. Yes, they actually had a shrinxpert to relay this NOVEL IDEA to their readers because none of them have ever been pregnant or heard of sympathy eating before.
Now that we’ve establed the how and why of Brad’s eating…let’s talk about the WHAT. It seems that Brad and Angie “are hooked on his famous banana milk shakes”. Yes, that’s right…they are conveniently hooked on one of the few foods that either has publicly admitted having a weakness for or for being able to make. Presumably they didn’t go with chocolate (Angie’s a known chocoholic) because they used THAT food for the Shiloh pregnancy. So now we’re on to Brad’s banana milkshakes. As we all know, Angie’s hooked on Brad’s shakes, but they ain’t banana and their 100% protein. However…that’s neither here nor there…
So there’s Brad and Angie in Tejas…slammin’ down banana milk shakes EVERY NIGHT. But…it’s not limited to just the milk shakes. According to OuttaTouch although Angie is usually a “very healthy eater” she is giving in to all her food cravings and they frequently follow the milkshakes with…get this…not one, but TWO bags of potato chips for a whopping total of “over 2,500 calories” in one sitting! Yep. That’s right…Brad and Angie are scarfing down milkshakes and potato chips every night and that’s why Brad is vying for Biggest Gut In Hollywood alongside Vince Vaughn. (BTW - Thank you very much Jared, I could have lived a hell of a long time without seeing VV’s big white booze belly. Somebody call Ahab and tell him to get his boat and harpoon out again.)
Because OuttaTouch doesn’t know when to quit they also claim that because Brad and Angie don’t cook they have a fondness for fast foods and that’s also taking a toll on Brad’s girlish figure. Plus, Brad will order a pizza for the kids…and another one for himself, then get a pile of DVDs and put his feet up and have himself a big ole feast. Then once the kids go to bed, after having eating a whole pizza by himself (no, they didn’t specify S, M, L or Killer Whale size) Brad will finish off the kid’s pizza, too. OuttaTouch says that Angie has warned Brad to go easy on the grub, but Brad just laughs it off because “he thinks it’s funny” because “he knows he’s not going to get obese”. Mmm-hhmmm, Brad. Famous last words. That’s just what Orson Welles said in 1928 and Marlon Brando in 1962. And look what happened to those two - Fatter and Fatterer.

Just to show America the slippery slope Brad is skiing on…OuttaTouch gives us two stellar examples of formerly thin hunks gone fat after their woman got knocked up: Ben Affleck…and Benji Madden. Uh-huh. OuttaTouch actually went there. Ben Affleck…and Joel Madden. Brad has just been compared to Mr. I Only Date Women Named Jennifer and Mr. Nicole Richie. Can we all say “scraping the bottom of the barrel for a filler sidebar”?

Their are alot of kids who go to school with out having food to eat especially the indian children here in okla.because they are poor and they don’t like the welfare to get involved.They are afraid of getting in trouble are getting the kids taken away.The ones on reservations are better off than the ones in the city,because on reservation they have food commidities.The mexican children get more help than the indian children or poor white or black children.People don’t like to get involved with the system.My son was a coach at a poor school so i know,alot of kids lived out school district who lived with grandparents but had to say lived at their moms house to stay in district.alot of parents are on drugs and alchohol,and these kids ride city buses or walk to school,but don’t give real addresses.they will take help but not from goverment.they are afraid of child welfare,which its the parents fault not the kids..so i’m proud of Doug Pitt give a jacket but don’t let everyone know,and that way poor kids will accept…

I didn’t know that Brad’s Grandma Betty was still alive and living in Shawnee, OK!
#117: I don’t know if his grandma is still living or not.I didn’t know the Pitts still came around Shawnee,you never hear any news about it,Now days everyone comes to shawnee to the new Indian casino.Or we have St.Gregorys college here.The rest is mostly Indian land,its a nice quiet town.I guess if you want to find out anything you would have to go to the cafe down town.
Betty Russell’s second husband, who she married in the 50’s, died 12/03 but I’ve never seen anything about her death. She is in her mid 80’s IIRC. Maybe it is her birthday or some other hallmark date. It’s not exactly the normal time you see family plan reunions.
