Yeah that’s just like Jennifer Aniston, to be FOLLOWING EVERYONE ELSE’S LEAD IN HOLLYWOOD, THE COUNTRY & THE WORLD and *suddenly* think she can just write a check and erase her rep as a stingy self absorbed b*tch. Hahaha. Sure, she’ll get charitable in a big way, but it will be with a LOT of people watching because of her more famous coattail ride(s). She has to get something back for the transaction. LOL Talk about a PR *****…she DEFINES the phrase. Hahaha. It is soooo typical that she’d need to hold Oprah’s hand and ride her coattails to do it. So at the 11th hour at 40 she’s decided to suddenly ‘give back’ on a reality TV show and try to BUY herself a rep as a charity powerhouse…so what does she do?? She writes a check. Hahaha No getting in the trenches for Maniston, no sirree Bob.

But she makes darn sure if she’s letting go of that much dough, that she has Oprah to broadcast it far and wide on her cheesy TV reality show.

..Meanwhile all the lackeys that Oprah employs at the big give are slobbering over Maniston in the media. It’s hilarious.

Too bad she’s a day late and a dollar short..it’s commendable anytime anyone gives up some loot especially a person with a stingy non charitable rep like her, but bottom line she follows everyone else, as USUAL. Hell Drew Barrymore just gave a cool million on Oprah.

I saw x yesterday on a promotion for Oprah’s show on Sunday. I didn’t recognize her at first. I had to look really hared to see what she looked like. The promo was really brief. But she sort of looked like herself, but then she didn’t look like herself. Hope you understand what I am trying to say. Peace

OPRAH SCHMOPRAH!!! Who cares?!?!?!?!? IMO Oprah isn’t all about charity. She reportedly earned $260 million USD in 2007 do you think she gave away $56 million USD? If she is paying all the income taxes on that (doubtful), it is till a whopping US $107,000,000 after giving away a third. Who couldn’t live on US $100,000,000. a year? I’ll be willing to bet Angie could. But then Angie doesn’t have 4 opulent residences, a private Gulfstream IV jet and a fleet of limos to take care of.

This Care to Learn Project is great and Doug Pitt should be commended for it. He is doing what he can to help poor children and all some idiots can do on here is criticize him on his looks and personality? Good thing Doug isn’t as shallow as the trolls or the kids he’s helping would be in trouble. I’ll take more men like him any day. He’s beautiful inside and out, just like Brad. As someone pointed out yesterday (sorry, I don’t remember who), it tells a lot about their parents. Hats off to you Mr. Doug Pitt, your project is badly needed.

Passing Through, Rob Lowe’s ex nanny did a photo shoot for People mag. I saw that three days ago on their website and thought WTF? I think she’s lying through her teeth and is doing this for the publicity. She’s making it so much harder for real sexual harrassment victims, she irks me. Don’t even get me started on Gloria Allred.

It never ceases to amaze me how some celebrities always find their way to Okra’s show when they want to promote their generosity. Could it be because she is the master at promoting herself as the ‘queen giver?’ I know that she has done many good things with her wealth, but I always get this feeling that there is a lot of self-promotion going on at the same time.

OT - yes, it’s definitely a slooowww news week. People mag is really sinking to new lows by making that RLowe/nannygate story as one of their top news headlines. That woman is so obviously looking for publicity that to even dignify her lies with a write up is pathetic.
