Miranda Kerr (in Matthew Williamson) launches the new Dream Angels Demi Bra at the Victoria Secret Store in NYC’s Herald Square on Thursday.
Said the 24-year-old Victoria’s Secret angel, “The wonderful thing about this bra is that it’s really comfortable because it has this memory lining. It contours to your curves as to the perfect fit. It’s romantic, it’s comfortable. It’s a great bra, I love it.”
Miranda also helped celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Victoria’s Secret Angels clothing retrospective.
Said the future Mrs. Orlando Bloom, “At the Herald Square store in New York, Victoria’s Secret is unveiling the last 10 years of angel history. You can go down to the store and customers can see some of the things that have happened over the last 10 years. Like, the first ever wings that were worn on the fashion show back in 1998. Or the angel wings that Heidi [Klum] wore that were 12 feet long–the hugest wings in history. A football signed by Adriana [Lima] that was signed at the Super Bowl.”

well, genuis if you had read the post you would have realized I met she was posing on the street before getting into the car for the papparazzi. Yes, models pose, but mostly like when they are working. And some women have worked damn hard to be taken seriously so I get fairly pissed when people don’t. It doesn’t make me jealous. Many women want to be judged not just by their looks, but by their abilities (I know a whole new concept for some of you wankers) And VS isn’t what is was, and she is modeling low end stuff at that, only her hooking her self up with some guy has got her the work she is getting now, so I am not sure how successful that makes her, more like she is good at using people. People like you give WOMEN a bad name, I hate it when when someone automatically think a bunch of women have to be jealous because after all we just couldn’t be smart enough to read about her and dislike her for how she behaves, Geezz
well considering that they don’t use her much and when they do it is for their low end things, it may not ensure much longevity for her , And she isn’t getting any younger, she has some major eye wrinkles already. Since she has been at it for over ten years I think her time might be running out. Most use VS to move on to bigger and better things. Her new contract has her with a low end retailer so I don’t see her moving on up.

thanks for the information! again you’ve given my comment validation. ten whole years you say??? well if that isn’t longevity then i don’t know what is. a vs contract is a contract IS A CONTRACT. she’s in the shows, in the ad campaigns, and alright, she may be hawking the “lower end stuff” (sorry i’m not familiar with the vs line, only agent provocateur and la perla for this girl!) but fact is, she has a contract.
Well sorry Fina but it’s not always about how much money you are paid but what do you do. She can be a por** model and get much much money does it mean it’s as good as Chloe campaign? If you think so, that’s ok.
And additionally it is importatn what you do and why you are popular, because Miranda will never be famous. Famous are people like James Dean, Audrey, Grace Kelly. Behind their names there are great values and people will always attache them to these names.
And Miranda may be a bit popular now but she will fade as soon as TONS of other actors actresses and models.
I don’t say it’s bad. if she has a possibility and she likes to be famous for being famous that’s ok. It’s her choice.
Mostly talented people don’t need that much attantion because they are good in what they do and what they do is pretty important.

hmmm you’d think with it being the 10 year anniversary they would have actually promoted a model that has been with the company at least 5 years. How about using an actual supermodel like Adriana Lima…who has been an angel for 8 years and been with the company for 10 years. Instead of using a girl who’s only claim to fame is being Orlando Blooms play thing.
ten years and the only thing she has that is even remotely big name is VS. Seems like after ten years she would own the catwalk.

it is for their pink line which is the budget stuff, probably they don’t want to use someone too important for the cheap stuff. It is supposed to appeal to college girls, and she has that girl next door look. Mostly because she is not any where near as sexy or beautiufl as Adriana. Considering that she is 25 I don’t think the young sweet look is going to hold up much longer. On her web site she has a quote by Audrey Hepburn. It really makes me mad the way she tries to ship that she is a new version of her . That lady had class, talent and was beautiful until she died. Panty model, no class, average looks, dumb as a post. i’m simply commenting on how people are quick to judge based on what they read in the tabloids and how they treat it as fact when it’s completely the opposite. it’s this toxic cycle of watching people rise to some sort of fame to see who’s the first one to bring them down. and with what? rumors? how absurd.
there’s this whole, should i dare say it, angelina factor, if a “celebrity” is not doing something similar (charity etc.) that person is considered selfish but if someone does something similar then they’re wannabes.

Even if Adriana isn’t your cup of tea…to promote a model who has been angel for a year, over one who has been with the company for 10 and an angel for 8 is beyond ridiculous. But Adriana got the important things so far this year so not complaining about that…but this IMO should have gone to her.

You are so right, I agree with you, dont get me wrong kid! I DO hate the game, I hate that women are STILL used as sex objects, and pieces of meat for mens fantasies, it angers me that women play up to that and men readily take whats on offer, it is a vicious circle, no doubt about it and I hate the whole game.
