#1702 here. I think it comes down to double standards and personal bias. When O/K dated, Kate was slammed hard for most or all of the pap shots and photo ops, while Orlando was believed to be basically innocent and reluctant to participate in them. Now, in retrospect, some things look different - at least to me. I try to focus on behavior rather than the person engaging in the behavior. If I don’t condone something, it doesn’t matter whether it’s person-X or person-Y doing it. It seems apparent to me that Orlando chose to participate with Kate in past PR and pap shots, and he’s chosen to go to hot celebrity clubs and go after actresses and models. So, he’s not that shy about publicity and getting exposure. Like others have said, I think he just wants those things on his own terms. I’m not saying it makes him a criminal, but I do think it’s one of those things that makes him human and imperfect and not the victim of Bosworth’s evil clutches that some of his fans believed him to be. Again, others have pointed out that he makes his own choices. This is about choices.

Maybe some of Orlando’s fans just want him to be with someone attractive and to be happy. I don’t know. Only Orlando can decide what he wants and what will make him happy. From my point of view, I can’t condone Miranda’s behavior when I didn’t condone Kate’s. Miranda’s doing the same thing - only sooner in the game and much more brazenly. It’s almost like she’s in a hurry or something.

I wasnt going to post again, because of the as*wipe pretending to be me in other threads, but I think some interesting points have been brought up about Jay, his sister, and how odd their “split” was. I read his comments of being so hurt, so in love, etc., etc., but in retrospect, his sister promoting the Bloom connection before, during, and after their split seems really VERY odd, in light of what has just been brought up. There isnt any proof that Bloom and Kerr are sexual. We dont see him touching her the same way he would touch and sometimes grope Kate in public. This very well could be just an arrangement for publicity for her that he agreed to. We saw him do it for Kate near the end of their relationship for Seasons of Dust. He said on Regis and Kelly that he was doing it to help her out. Maybe his “niceguyness” is just turning into one bad helpout after another. He needs to start saying NO if this is what he does for people.

Its interesting though to see some of the comments coming from self proclaimed non-Kate fans that Miranda is worse than they ever thought Kate was. I never really understood why Kate got so much crap, but then again, I never spent much time looking into the things she said and did. I can see however that Miranda is really OTT with some of her antics. As someone just recently posted, she seems in a rush to get in as much Orlando publicity as she can….as if there is some deadline she has to meet. All some very good comments in that regard, and yes, wouldnt that be interesting that by the official kickoff of her work for DJ coming up in August (Megans official departure I believe) her and Jay suddenly making amends. Hmmmm….

Aside from the occasional eejit ranting and raving in one direction or the other, there have been some very bright and well thought out comments on this thread. I have been a JJ critic in the past, but I think I would rather save my criticism post by post than as a whole. I still hate the anon posting style here though - LOL! I like to know who I’m discussing back and forth with.

Welcome back! Thanks for another interesting post. Glad that you’re here, and if it’s any consolation, the faux-frofro was immediately called out as a fake by other posters because it was very obvious that s/he did not even come close to the intelligent reasoning seen in your posts.

One of the many strange pieces of this puzzle is Jay/Brent (what is his name anyway?) and his sister’s comments. I cannot imagine even joking about another guy being with one of my brothers’ girlfriends, much less doing so in a professional capacity. It’s just so disrespectful to him that those comments and implications would be read by the general public regardless of any of arrangements that may have been made behind the scenes. There have been a few theories floating along the way that he and Miranda would get back together after she secured a few contracts and this big PR blitz was over. Like many things, that remains to be seen, but your August timing makes a lot of sense, since that should coincide with Orlando spending the summer filming in Hong Kong (that is if The Red Circle ever gets confirmed).

Me and my sis just watch that vid. The first things out of her mouth is who is she and that doesn’t look like a real relationship she doesn’t follow this like I do .If she can pick that out I wonder who else can. JJ site has been doing strange things with logging on and posting. Has anyone else had the same problems?

Take a look at the lunch pictures from her site and olove and compare. On olove you can tell that Orlando is wearing the same jeans as well but the bodyguard is wearing exactly the same-even belt and shoes it looks like.

@1718lol. That’s why she had to say Orlando was swimming if he wasn’t there in the morning when the crew got there. He doesn’t strike me as a morning person, more of a night-owl. I’m surprised she just didn’t do the fake body pillows on the bed and say it was him. Shh, we have to be quiet, Orlando is sleeping still.

whoever asked about Orlando being around for her August debut that might not be the case. She has already hinted that the schedules might not work so that leads me to believe he isn’t committed to going to that. Since this trip was mentioned a month ago as already planned he was probably obligated to do this one. Let’s hope its the last.
