Sandra Bullock Hit in Car Crash
Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were hit head-on by a drunk driver Friday night in Gloucester, Mass.
The couple was being driven home when a gray Subaru station wagon driven by Lucille P. Gatchell, 64, turned a corner, jumped into their lane and smashed into their front end. Fortunately, no one was injured in the wreck, though both vehicles had to be towed.
“They were shaken up, needless to say,” said Gloucester Police Lt. Gerry Cook. “But they were fine – he was hugging her. Jess and Sandra were hugging. They said they were fine, they didn’t need medical attention. There were quite a few people snapping pictures of them.”
Sandra, 43, has been currently filming The Proposal on Cape Ann.

So now she has been in a plane crash and a head on collision!? I would go on a boat anytime soon.. fate seems to have a disaster trifecta planned for her!!

Wow - so glad they are okay. I saw a Sandra clip on Oprah recently, she had on a smock top and looked pregnant. It seems like she and Jesse are very happy together.
This should be a wakeup call to all the celebrities that get off with dui’s. Drink and drive, this is what happens. I wonder if the woman that hit jesse & sandra will get off by only having to go to a clinic like the celebrities do!

Where in this report does it say anything about drinking and driving, by any of the parties??? Sounds like an older woman wasn’t paying attention, and that Sandra Bullock and Jesse James weren’t driving themselves.
Sandra Bullock is looking prettier all the time. She certainly is aging gracefully.

There are other reports with more details. Other drivers saw the car weaving and were calling 911 just before the accident. The drunk driver had a breathalyzer reading of 0.2, more than twice the legal limit. Her mug shot is on dlisted.
Very glad that no one was hurt. Sandra and Jesse seem like a great couple.
