Daniel Radcliffe and the Mystery of the Australian Girl
Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter, has often spoken about not being able to find a girlfriend, but in an interview with The Daily Telegraph, revealed his love of one particular Australian woman who he met backstage during an AFI awards ceremony.
“There was one girl there, oh my god, she had these eyes that just looked at me like she wanted to pounce on me,” Daniel said yesterday. “She stared at me the whole night and I was going to get her number and then I couldn’t find her.
“I must have walked around that party for an hour trying to look for this girl, like some sad pathetic dweeb but it would have been so worth it.”
Daniel, 18, started starring in the popular Harry Potter movies when he was 11.

Jared I hope you don’t really believe him having a ‘hard time’ dating. He’s said in more then one interview he’s had girlfriends. That line the magazine lifted was from 2005 when WB wanted him to appear ’single’ for his delusional fans.

i live in australia and on the news this morning it said they found the mystery girl. She’s blonde and really pretty. I know where daniel is coming from about her eyes. Her eyes are gorgeous! Except there is a small problem, she has a boyfriend and they have been going out for 2 years. But apparently her job is making her go to London for 4 months which is where daniel is situated. How convenient :D

Latest is his publicist saying the story of his hunting for this girl was “just a joke” that got out of hand. On the other hand, it is reliably reported that Dan is now serving tea to the cast and crew of his latest film to keep himself busy so he won’t be tempted to smoke 20 cigs a day. Have to feel for the boy. He may be liable to addictions. So be careful, Dan. You’re too nice and sweet and good to go off the rails.

He’s pretty good looking for a “pixie” and people who saw him necked in London said his “equipment” was not to be sneezed at. I think he is lying low ever since the bad publicity about his smoking up a storm. We’ll have to wait for him to slip or make a mistake before there is much more news. It is a bit boring when an actor is a goody goody and doesn’t go out and party until he falls down drunk. I think our “pixie” has quite a bit of self control.
