I really wish Archuleta would go. He’s so interminably boring. Meanwhile, Syesha was brilliant..
And WTF is up with Randy? I don’t know what show he was looking at and hearing tonight, but what I heard and saw was the same old boring-ass David Archuleta. He has no stage presence. And to boot, he didn’t listen to Webber and closed his eyes during a portion of that interminably boring song.
I just don’t get the hype and hoopla over this kid, who continues to pale in comparison to those who are much better IMO like David C., and yes, Syesha. At least SHE could hold notes and could sell a song, rather than being a one-trick pony like he is. Every song Archuleta sings sounds the same. And he does the same with it — the half dipping with his knees, the lip-licking in between phrasing and the eye-closing. There’s no appeal except for those clueless teenyboppers, who, by the way, I don’t understand why they were allowed on the stage to hug David A. WTF !! Talk about hype !! The producers were wrong in doing that, giving David A. a step up from the other contestants. They were pandering to that contingent mercilessly tonight. And it stinks !!
Brooke needs to go. She should have left last week, IMO.
I’m so sick of her backtalk and that phony “I’m about to cry” look that she gives week after week when she’s getting feedback from the judges. But tonight took the cake !! This is actually the SECOND time that she stopped and restarted a performance. And why didn’t somebody correct that liar when she pronounced that was the first time that she did that. Ryan should have jumped all over that. I mean, do they really expect us fans at home not to remember that blaring faux pas ? Puleeze !! She’s gotta go !!
I don’t know what Syesha did to piss them off, but I can’t understand why, up until tonight, she had been getting only lukewarm critiques from those three. I think she has a big voice and is one of the strongest voices and performers on the show this season. But somehow she keeps getting these half-hearted comments from the judges. Poor Syesha. I love her though. And I keep voting for only her. I sure hope she is one of the Final Four, where she belongs.
I’ll be happy though to see Brooke go bye-bye tomorrow. It’ll only be fair.
So over Archuleta….can he do anything else? None of the “ballad” singers have managed to be very mainstream. Although I have no doubt the kid will be successful he really doesn’t seem like someone that would sell a lot of albums (except maybe to prepubescent girls with little tast), but even still is the sort of music he seems to excel in something they want…No. David Cook would be a much better winner. More talent and the ability to sing more than one style of music.
David Archuleta was amazing tonight. I was surprised he spiced up the song a little bit. And the end of his performance was really sexy. which surprised me.

I agree with the above about Archuleta. And although I have not always been a fan, Syesha definitely shone tonight. (I dont think she should win the whole thing, but it was great tonight.)
DAVID COOK IS FRICKIN AMAZING! Every week i wonder what he is going to do next and Im always surprised. He is the only contestant that I can say that about I hate Carly and David A. they bore me to tears with their same old boring crap and Brooke White is also annoying with little talent and range. DAVID COOK IS A TRUE ORIGINAL AND DESERVES TO WIN! His range is also amazing! LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM

I’m tired of Archuleta too. He sounds the same week after week after week…he needs to change it up, seriously.

Of course, Brooke and Jason have the weakest voices out of the six, so it was really hard for them to do well tonight (and they didn’t).
And even though David A. does have the voice, he just does the same dreary ballad every week. He needs some personality!

Yeah I don’t get the big deal about David A. either. Yes, he can sing but I don’t see him doing very well.
Now David Cook on the other hand would sell so many albums! In a way it’s almost better if he doesn’t win…he could be, like, the next Chris Daughtry.

It is time for Brooke to say good bay to the show. She was the worst tonight and she is getting worst by the week. I love Castro he is soooooooooooo cute… I love his voice too… My favorite is David Cook. But I also love love love my cute Castro. :)

omg…David Cook was SOOOO hot singing ‘music of the night’. SO HOT!! I love that song….but I love it even more with him singing it. He gives me shivers!! :)
