Believe it or not —– JASON CASTRO……. I LOVE HIS SWEET VOICE. I have seen CATS and his performance was really well done and I find it hard to believe the judges acted that way. Even my mom who doesn’t realyy like him thought he was great.

I love both Davids they are both amazingly talented! The competition will REALLY heat up once Brooke and Jason leave cuz there’s no bad people left to vote off. David Archuleta!!!!! is my favorite guy and Syesha is my favorite girl!!!!!

1) SYESHA— admit it as simon said, her performance was sexy, and as andrew lloyd weber predicts, it brought down the house and was incredible, she has sooooo much talent and should win and she can do broadway theater and stufff later on in lifeee love herrr
2) CARLYYYY is amazing, loved her performance last night
3) DAVID COOKK– he is amazing. nothing else to say. loved michael johns and i would say he is the closest to michael of who is still on…i still miss michael tho :(
everyone else needs to go ASAP (Brooke, Jason, David A.) they all lack personality and are kinda boring like the same stufff everyweek (especially David A. but Jason too) and i dont like them too muchhhh

From the girls, I really hope Carly stays.
She has the best voice in the whole competition and I like her vibe.

And from the boys, it’s DAVID Cook.
His voice is so ‘oh wow’ and then he has the looks to match.

David A, Brooke and Jason should be in the bottom 3. Hopefully Jason or Brooke will leave.

I completely agree with idolfan! Great summary. I loved David Cook and Sayesha. Sayesha was such a performer tonight.

i think that david cook always never fails to surprise the world with his performances. i expected him to do something from “jesus christ superstar” or “starlight express” cos they’re definitely in his natural rocker persona element but he surprised me pleasantly again :D i always love his originality.

i’m getting bored with david a! i enjoyed his performances, right up until “we can work this out” then he started to drone on and on week after week then that support just died.

michael and david cook were my favourites :D but yes, syesha was really good tonight! hopefully she won’t be in the bottom 3 this week.

Syesha… best of her performances… still can’t stand her though. Too Whiney and fake. She sounds like every other female vocalist out there.

Brooke…. i love her and she will be successfull but she tanked

Jason - I actually loved his version of memories - Voted

David A - sucked big time. hated the pop-version and I’m just over him. He’s the same thing week after week. Excellent voice but not my cup o tea

Carly - you can’t get more awesome

David C - I hated this…. he sucked big time. No one can do a Michael Crawford song and sound remotely good. It’s like the female doing Mariah or Whitney

Whoever thought Broadway night (done before and still sucked) was a good idea needs to be fired. This was painful to watch.

Archuletta has a “nice” voice, seems like a good all American boy but really he is quite boring to me, and you are right he doesnt move.

Cook however is very entertaining and has some major lungs!

I think that the performances tonight were quite mixed.

1. Syesha - She’s sexy tonight and the most broadway-ish in all the performance. Vocally, she’s not the best. She has little to no control of her high notes to the point that it often times come across as flat. However, there was energy tonight from Syesha, which made her performance outstanding. (Top 3 or 4)

2. Jason - I liked Jason early in the competition, because he sounds unique, quiet and tranquil. However, my pet peeve in his singing is the way he sounds too airy, restricted and (Hmm I’m thinking of the right term…) unsupported. It’s as if every breath and lyrics he sing is a struggle between life and death to the point that doing it week after week is BORING!! He’s pretty, but I wish he’d go tonight or next week.

3. Brooke - Brooke won me over when she sang “Let it Be”. It was simple but heartfelt –magical in a way. I loved her after that performance… However it lasted only one week (haha!). After that stellar perfomance, she couldn’t keep up with the others. Somehow she reached her peak, and there was no more we can expect from her. If there was someone who should definitely be her.

4. David A - Sings the same way over and over again. The saving grace in him is that his voice sounds unique. I can’t describe it exactly.. something like husky and full (quite mature for his age). The major down factor would be his lack of versatility (I mean, he turns every theme week to pop/ballad week…?). But he has other ups and it includes being really cute and adorable… hahaha (Top 2 or AI Winner)

5. Carly - The girl rockstar who needs a little bit more refinement. It disturbed me that she was shouting too much in the “Jesus Christ Superstar”. However, unlike her old performances where she sounded drawn back when she starts hitting the notes, this time, she came in full force which is a plus factor. I mean, she’s improving and that’s a good sign. ALthough, I wouldn’t expect her to win AI. (Top 3 or 4)

6. David C. - At first I thought, David C would turn out to be a Chris Daughtry rip off. But tonight changed it all. I mean, he was amazing week after week. Perhaps the most consistent among all the contestants. Not always the best, but up there on top. The best thing about him is that, people will remember him, because of the risk he takes and the unpredictability. Sound wise, not really the best one, but bearable. I think Michael Johns had a better rock star voice, but he showed some control singing today. Probably exhibiting that he can refine his rock star-ishness and be a little bit reserved. Go David C! (Top 2 or AI winner!)

Yes David Cook knoked them out of the water. He reminded me of Josh Grobin. He almost brought tears to my eyes. He ,imo is the very best one hands down
