Gwyneth Paltrow Enjoys the Berlin Breeze
Gwyneth Paltrow talks business over dinner with director Jon Favreau in Berlin, Germany on Monday.
The director-actor pair dined at Ottenthal restaurant, which combines both the traditional and contemporary cuisine of Austria. They are in town in promote their superhero flick, Iron Man, out May 2.
According to reports, Gwyn, 35, donated $75,000 to the Food Bank for New York City.
“I’ve been thinking about all the crap my children have and how much food we throw away,” Ms. Paltrow said. “We have to do better.”

I love how the Jolie Pitts are shaming Brad’s lame azz;d do-nothing exes into donating. Or maybe the old Aniston/Paltry rivalry has re-surfaced. Anyone else find it odd that one day after Aniston gives out her consolation prize on Oprah, Paltry follows with her donation to a food bank — both announcing it to the world…suddenly? Very funny. It’s like they’re both battling it out like it was 2000, only this time, Brad has left both them b*tches in the dust. Hahahaha!
…oh, and coincidentally she does it just as she’s promoting a MOVIE.

i dont know whether she’s doing that for the movie but i think she still looks nice! it is kinda mysterious how she disappears for a few years, comes back, makes a movie and starts giving out money. ‘I’ve been thinking about all my children have…’ lol, ‘crap’, couldve thought of a better alternative right gwyneth? but otherwise, i have nothing against her.

She and I have the same birthday (Sept. 27th) so I think of her as a kindred spirit. I think she always looks simplistically beautiful and natural. Why are people so cynical about her? I know that you love Jolie-Pitt so much, but does it have to be always about them? It is about GP, now. GP. She doesn’t mention anybody else but herself. She is promoting her movie.
If Jolie-Pitt is such an inspiration, don’t you think that you should be happy that many follow their steps? It is a good deed. If they say it out loud or silently, it is their right.
Don’t you think it is better for the world that famous people like GP, voicing the care for the hungry children? Especially if you read about Haiti these days.
You can call it copying Jolie-Pitt if you want, as long as the food lands to the plate of these hungry children, I will even call it kissing the asses of Jolie-Pitt if it satisfies you.

She’s looking more and more like her mom Blythe Danner (who I love), and I agree with GP about having to do better. I see the waste much more and changes have been made in my household because of it. It’s ridculous (the waste/consumption)!

Boy, I’d really like some of the crazies around here to come to the realization that people have been doing charity work for years and that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did not invent the concept. For the record, the world does not revolve around those two, at least for those of us with a rational way of thinking. Battling it out over BP? Get real.
And GP and any other celebrity becomes more visible whenever they have a project come out because they are required to in their contracts, dear. Think what you want about the motivation behind it, but it’s not exactly and odd concept. I think we all know that she tries to live a pretty private life when she isn’t working. Is that so hard to grasp?

it is nice when anyone donates. however, $ 75,000 is chump change for someone of Gwyneth’s income.
Awww, finally Jon lands on JJ, even if it’s because he’s with Gwyneth. ha. That is his wife Joya dining with them. Looks like they are doing tons of promo for Iron Man, including this huge jaunt across Europe.
