Gwyneth Paltrow Talks USA Weekend

What do Liv Tyler, Gwyneth Paltrow and Maggie Gyllenhaal have in common?

All of these lovely ladies will be starring in superhero flicks coming soon to a theater near you–Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and The Dark Knight, respectively.

Here’s what Liv, Gwyn and Maggie had to say after being asked, “How do you think women have changed in these kind of films over the years?”

Gwyneth: There’s a reason why they’re hiring actresses like us. We’re all women, we’re all mothers, and we all normally do different films. There’s a certain understanding of who we are and what we bring and a certain respect for that.
Maggie: Twenty or 30 years ago, the women in these films were vapid and just appeared for extra silliness.
Liv: In all these films, our characters have real jobs and really fall in love and have real dilemmas. When you look at the history of the comic books, the women also have changed.

I gotta admit off topic here, I respect Liv so much for promoting a healthy figure of a normal-sized woman in Hollywood. Enough of these endless stick-figures and bobble heads we’re so used to seeing with our celeb females—it’s time that the famous females got some necessary meat on their bones already!

Jared, please learn how to mix it up a bit with the Gwyneth titles. Maggie Gyllenhaal and Liv Tyler were also interiewed. Why not use their name(s) in the title?

Gwnyeth shut the hell up. OMG this woman is still way too into herself. She really thinks she is the sh*t. Doesn’t she know that her career is gone because she turned out to be hollywood hype because of her family connections and we all think she is one of the most wooden actresses alive. Gwyneth GET OVER YOURSELF. Stop talking yourself up. You are starring in superhero crap because your career sucks now not because you are as great as you are saying.

They are all delusional because superhero gfs suck. All they do is scream and get rescued ala damsel in distress. Nothing has changed at all and the superheroine films are worst remembering Catwoman,Elektra,Aeon Flux,Tomb Raider,Ultraviolet etc–

Paltrow is just resurrecting her dying career. If Maggie solely stars in Batman I will boycott the movie but its because of the Batman and Joker Im there and nothing else. Cruise should have let Katie finish the series.
