Now that the last moderately talented contestant with some semblance of a personality is gone, this is by far the dullest final five I’ve EVER seen.
My pick for the final 2 to is Archuleta and Cook. They have the best talent on the show .

I am so pissed. This is proof that AI has now turned into a popularity contest instead of a talent contest. No way that Carly should have gone home tonight.
I don’t understand how Syesha Mercado can be on the bottom 2 all the time. She has an amazing voice and she did amazing last night why is America so clueless when it comes to voting on American Idol I just don’t understand
Look here’s the deal…instead of getting on here and bitching after ever episode about who should go home and who should stay…pick up your dang phone and vote to keep your person there….if more people would have voted Carly would have stayed….its a free call! good lord!
I agree Carly shouldnt have been sent home, but i do have to disagree and say that Brooke deserves to still be there. That girl can sing. So she flubbed and you cant hold it against her in Every Breathe because she was a note in. Yeah stage fright happens forgetting lyrics happens, but Brooke deserves to be there. She can sing if you like it or not.
That is unbelievable!!!! It just proves the show is rigged. Brooke clearly should have been kicked off and David Archuleta is clearly overrated!
I’ll miss Carly…. she was one of the <Best however I don’t agree about Brooke leaving… she has an amazing voice too… everyone makes mistakes…. <3 give her a break

#44 - Everyone I know has commented on how ugly Carly’s arm tat is and how creepy her husband’s face is. Not saying that’s why she was voted off, but to say not liking her tats is rude and ignorant is ridiculous.
As far as Brooke goes, she has Vote for the Worst behind her now and that might be the reason she was safe. Simon was very hypocritical. In the audition phase he said it was inexcusable to forget the words. Yet, he gave Brooke a pass and never calls David A. out in the finals.
It just sad when talented people must defeted by popular one. Is this because her origin is not american, like MJ?? just curious … I’m not American and watch AI from Satellite, If I can vote I will definitely vote for DAVID COOK.

ahhh I am so glad Carly left us tonight. She really just bothered me. All I can say is go David’s. We all know it is going to come down to them but I think Cook should win. And as for the rest of them it really doesn’t matter the order they leave the show but I would love to see an all male top 3 with Jason in 3rd place.

my comment was said because someone was criticizing the fact that she had tattoos and her husband’s apperance made her less of an “idol”. And i simply think it’s rude to to consider her less of an “idol” because of this. i never said not liking the tattoo’s was rude. the fact that people didn’t think she was good BECAUSE of them was rude.

The show is no longer about talent it is about popularity it’s sad but true. Syesha Mercado shouldn’t be in the bottom 3 and every week she’s in the bottom 3 especially after yesterday performance in my opinion was the best performance last night. I voted for her so many times. This show is no longer about talent it’s all about popularity. David archuleta needs to go in my opinion he cannot seen and the only thing that’s keeping him in there is his popularity not talent. This show needs to end already no one doesn’t care about talent anymore
