Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Gladiator
Gwyneth Paltrow straps on her gold gladiator sandals and heads to a back specialist clinic in West London on Friday afternoon.
At yesterday’s UK premiere of Iron Man, Gwyn, 35, told Sky News that Coldplay’s new album is “brilliant.” (Her husband Chris Martin is the band’s frontman.)
“Don’t tell him I told you that,” she added. “I can’t talk about it. He gets furious!”
UPDATE: Manolo says, “These shoes are from the Giuseppe Zanotti, available at SaksFifthAvenue for $650.”

The shoes are cool if you can pull ‘em off, but Im not sure Id pay over 600 bux for a pair of shoes that are only in this season. Being a simpleton and all, I got a cool, not so dramatic pair at Steve Madden. And it costs less than 100 pesos.

i don’t think the shoes look great w/ that outfit but i do think they would look cute w/ a white simple sundress & a great bag. they are hard to pull off because they are funky. she for sure can wear those but i would lose the blazer & untuck the shirt.

I really think these gladiator type of shoes are hideous…but so so gorgeous at the same time. I don’t know, they’re ugly but they look really good on. I actually preffer Nine West’s version of these, they’re much more flattering to a woman’s foot shape and while gold like Manolo’s, they’re not as flashy & obscene.

They are great! Fun touch to add to a casual outfit. She looks great for running errands in town. And black nail polish IS actually in season… look at Luella’s runway, for example.
