So going on vacation just the two of them to Hawaii when we saw more then one picture of them kissing, not to mention that Zac took Vanessa with him as his date (his words, not mine) to the Palm Springs festival, and well, I can go on forever, however, since you seem to have been living the past two years in a cave somewhere since you apparently haven’t seen any of this, I’m not going to try to convince you, we all believe what we want and if you still try to deny that Zac and Vanessa are dating and have been for quite a while, then so be it, but then I feel sorry for you since you obviously haven’t seen or experienced love. I doubt that f we get anymore pictures that we will see the rings as they don’t wear them when their filming, even in HSM2 they did’nt wear them in all The Road To High School Musical clips I watched I don’t hink I ever saw their rings, but we know that Vanessa wore her’s to go to Utah and for all we know Zac has his with him but like Vanessa just does’nt wear it when he’s rehearsing.

The main thing is that it looks like we might get a few more picture’s from Utah which is good, and Zac looks a lot better and less tired then he did when he left for Utah so maybe a few days rest has done him good.

And considering the press are taking their photo’s they look happy enough to be togther okay their not beaming but perhaps it is becuase the pap’s are their after all it is supposed to be in a sceret location and hush hush which made me smile when I saw that in the information about these photo’s, and we know that they don’t always smile when the pap’s are there but that does’nt mean nothing, it’s just nice to see some new pictures.

Hopefully we’ll see some of Lucas and Corbin too

They had’nt been seen together since January at Palm Springs becuase they have both b een filming movies in different countries so it’s kinda impossible to be together when your not in the same counry.

And okay their not sloppering all over each other or holding hands but that does’nt mean anything they have never been a couple that are comfortable with showing to much affection to the world only when their ready to do it eg Palm Springs, and they had just done a rehersal so of course their going to be tired then bam they come out and the press are there.

We don’t goto the hotel with them or any other cast memeber so we don’t know how they behave when their not in public and I for one would want to catch up with my bf after being apart for 2 months and show affection when we were alone and not broadcast it to th world

I agree they have never been comfortable it seems when the press do photograph them and considering that this is supposed to be a top secret location then it would be quite understandable for them not to be o happy.

But as you say we’re not with them 24/7 and so we don’t know what the status is in their relactionship but at the end of the day it’s not ourbuisness, but to me Vanessa handing Zac what does look like car keys is a good thing and they seem fine walking together and not excatly in a rush to get away from each other, maybe get away from the press yes but that’s all.

I’m just glad to see some new photo’s and news about HSM3 it’s been a while.

Some people will never be satisfied f they were all over each other then people say it’s a publicty stunt only to promote HSM and when they keep it between the two of them then it’s still not real becuase there not giving anything away to the public, but as Zac said relactionships are sacred and it’s betwen the two people involved and nobody else. That is a very mature and considerate answer I think to the other person involved.

Hope to hear some more news maybe about the ther cast member’s too, it seems a few bits are slowly coming out now.

First of all, I enjoy your assumption but you couldn’t be anymore off. Your argument isn’t relevant. The pictures you speak of were taken last year……. not recently. I never said they NEVER dated - obviously you have never heard of contractual obligations. Funny that he’s never taken Vanessa as his date until the speculation started to circle that the two were no longer together. Look how crazy you all go for *ZANESSA* of course, it’s a cash cow. The two won’t officially split until the filming wraps of this movie. Neither of them are happy in this relationship, and if you actually spent time around either of them you’d know this. People fall in and out of love in this industry - it’s not easy keeping any sort of relationship. They’ve just really grown up and apart from each other. Need I remind you of Zac’s most recent quote - stating he didn’t want to discuss Vanessa because it could or could not be relevant?

I really feel sorry for you. Feeling like you have to personally attack somebody for stating their opinion. If making me your verbal punching bag makes you feel better about yourself and defending two people you’ve never met and will never meet (which is a shame. I would hope you would all be excited for the movie that you all like because of the talent involved and the storyline - but it just goes to show Disney was right with creating this star couple because that’s all anyone cares about. They have an incredible cast line-up with unbelievable talent and it’s good to see the Wildcats all together one last time.

And I do agree, their relationship is none of our business. It should be sacred and personal - for the believers & haters (which for the record I’m not a hater, just not a believer either). You point fingers like the non-believers have no right to express their opinion and we shouldn’t be discussing their relationship, but you justify it by expressing your belief on ‘zanessa’? I love the way people see what they want in any picture. What in these lets them think they’re not happy with each other, I don’t know. At least they use their own names.

Anyone that frequents the Zac/ Vanessa/Zanessa sites know perfectly well #157, #159, and #162 are not the real narf or Steph.

Now, about this unhappy look, not holding hands stuff. These two were NEVER seen holding hands or kissing, etc, until they went to Hawaii. Then we saw them holding hands again at Zac’s birthday dinner and then for about 3 weeks after that when they were out shopping and going to brunch on a Sunday. Then suddenly we didn’t see them doing it anymore and people wondered what was wrong. Then they are seen at the DVD release of HSM2 arriving together and holding hands looking dreamily into each other’s eyes, etc. We also saw it at the Palm Springs film festival. BUT in between all these times we saw them non-stop together—only the two of them except when Zac got out of the hospital and they were seen with Ashley.

Saying all that to say this: It seems to me they are being who they are—a young couple in love—not caring if anyone likes the fact they are holding hands or not, not worrying about what people thing of them not wearing their rings, etc. They are doing what they want with the expressions on their face that many of us would have while out doing mundane things.

Those that think it is all for publicity, then they should have made a fortune by now considering how much time they have had to forfeit from being with people they must prefer being with. Also, IF it was for publicity then it would stand to reason they would be sure to be holding hands in this picture and have all smiles on their faces.

Those who think they are not together anymore and just “happened” to be caught in a picture together—why would that be? If they were not HAPPY with each other then once they were done filming they could easily go their separate ways. They don’t have to leave together. They could be with some other members of the cast—but they aren’t. They are with each other. I would make sure I wasn’t leaving with my ex and if I just happen to get in a photo with him it would most likely be that someone else would be in the picture too since it is not just Vanessa and Zac who are working together on HSM3.

There may be holes in the fans theories about these two but the haters’ theories look like someone used them for target practice—because they are full of holes.

It doesn’t seem to me they are aware they are being photographed although I think Zac is “looking” for someone. So, if they don’t know they are being photographed they would have no reason to be together as it seem as if they are leaving their “work” and are very much going off together.

Once again, if they wanted people to “believe” they are a couple because that’s what Disney want them to portray then they would very much know they were being photographed and would be all smiles even if they refrained from hand-holdding.

IF they actually can see someone is out there snapping pictures of them then MAYBE that is WHY they look a little perturbed. We’ve seen that look on Zac’s face before when the paps were snapping pics of them while they were just being together doing everyday things.

Yes, Troy, I felt the same about #91. Just someone trying to cause doubts but they are not sure which direction they really want to take in that pursuit. One thing is obvious, whoever it is, that poster is NOT a friend of either Zac or Vanessa’s.

We should have known that since we have not had any pictures of them together since January 20 that once we did get a picture everyone and his dog would have to come out to make a negative comment about them. I’m right there with you girlie… I think it’s so funny too that everyone interprets their faces as they’re mad at each other or they look unhappy or they’re not dating… Pictures really don’t tell all.. how about the fact that they just left a dance studio, dancing all day is doggone tiring in it of itself. I sure as heck won’t be smiling or being lovey dovey w/someone when all i want to do is soak my feet! LOL

And yes, it’s known fact that couples that have been dating for awhile do not need to show PDA much as they use to… Just because they’re not holding hands or showing PDA does not mean they’re not dating.. they may be just exhausted and spent from a long day of dance rehearsals.

I am not really happy with Bobby Bones right now. If you go to bobbybones.com and click on podcast for today’s date you can hear him talking about Vanessa. He is threatening to give out one digit of her cell phone # everyday if she doesn’t text or call him back.He sent her a text and her reps responded saying she would get back to him when she had time. Apparently she gave him her cell # when they were filming Will together. He was in the movie. He is a DJ in Austin,TX for those who don’t know. I used to listen to him all the time when I lived there. Now I am very angry at him. Vanessa is busy with filming right now. She will get back to him if and when she has time. I really hope he doesn’ t go through with this.

Is ‘Nike’ an official sponsor of ‘HSM’ movies? I recognised that in ‘HSM2′ everyone wears ‘Nike’ sneakers (but I’m not quite sure this statement is true for ‘HSM’) and now I can see that Zac is holding a box of ‘Nike’ sneakers, what is more, both Vanessa and Ashley are wearing them.

Hello Narf, Steph, Go Sox, Troy, Karen and all Z and V supporters - Well, finally we have pics and that’s great, but you have to guess that they were surprised, if they saw them, that paps would be there since Disney has been protecting them for weeks.

As far as the looks on their faces, to me it looks like it’s pretty bright outside and that they were coming out of a dark building…..so, naturally their eyes would have to adjust and the faces they’re making look like squinting against the brightness outside. They don’t look unhappy, but maybe a bit tired. And they’re walking together - that and the key handoff tells me that they’re still very much a couple.

I know that Zac keep the romantic part of his and Vanessa’s relationship private, but it’s cute that he wraps his hand around hers when he gets the keys. Poor guy thinks nobody will see cause he’s not in LA.

If Zac and Vanessa’s relationship was a publicity stunt, why did we only get confirmed proof of their relationship in Hawaii (May 2007) over a year after they started dating (October 2005). And this proof only came when neither Zac or Vanessa knew that any paparazzi or cameras were there and were simply trying to have a relaxing vacation after working their butts off doing High School Musical 2.

And how come, after their realtionship was completely obvious - if you have seen the Hawaii photos, it is obvious. The kissing, touching, loving looks and as Zac’s dad called it ‘frolicking’ lol - why did Zac and Vanessa continue to deny their relationship? Or simply say they were dating, but refused to comment further on it? The most revealing interview we have got from either Zac or Vanessa was probably Vanessa’s Seventeen magazine interview where she stated ‘He just knows exactly what to do to make me laugh’ and when asked about if she thought about her and Zac having a future together she said ‘No. But only time will tell’ Surely if this relationship weas for publicity, she would have answered with something like ‘There’s a very strong publicity that me and Zac will stay together in the future’ making all the children and ‘tweens’ happy and supposedly making them want to watch High School Musical more?!

And why, does nearly every set of candid photos we have - including this current set we are commenting on - does not have any Spencer & Heidi style kissing or hand holding but instead has the odd touch (such as Vanessa handing Zac the keys in these photos and Zac grasping her hand as she does it) or in, for example the last set of New Year’s Date photos from this year, a few glances towards each other.)

The fact is, if Disney wanted a couple from High School Musical to get together to publicise High School Musical, my guess is they would have gone for Zac & Ashley. Ashley was the most well known female in the cast due to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and various other Disney projects that would have made her more aware to the audience of HSM than any of the other female cast members.

Also, High School Musical was aired before anyone had any good, solid proof that Zac & Vanessa were a couple and it still did extraordinarily well. People like the movie. Nothing to do with whether the latest Zac & Vanessa photos have been posted on JustJared or not. Most kids don’t even know about that.

Anyway, I’m reaaaallly happy these two are back together. :D I heart them. (No, this does not mean I am more inclined to go watch HSM3 now. Gah.)

Ok, I have been reading the comments and have seen how people are saying, “They aren’t happy”, “This is just a publicity stunt”, “Zac is gay”, but seriously if it WAS a publicity stunt, wouldn’t having them break up be better. Since they are Hollywood’s new young “supercouple”. I am sure many would have wanted to know MORE about the “break-up”. And saying they aren’t “happy” is stupid. There aren’t many pictures, and paparazzi cameras take like 4 billion pictures every 3 seconds. And paps pick pictures that they know will make people notice, so “sad” pictures would do it. There could be pictures where they WERE holding hands, but we don’t know that. Also I agree with #61 - rosielee9 #62 - erica. They can’t be followed every minute. We don’t know if they did act like a couple in the private. Besides, we shouldn’t care if they are together or not. Its THEIR private life, not OURS. Last time I checked we weren’t dating Zac and Vanessa now were we. The reason they get followed by paps and is because we want to know about their private lives. Its us that is making them so miserable. I know its hard to realize but we are the reasons there are paps.

Just want to also agree with Troy and Alyssa about the photo thing…I assist with many photo shoots of couples (engagement shoots, weddings, etc)…so couples that are definitely very in love and prepared to have these photos taken that they are paying for even and while you get great sweet shots, everyone has their “outtakes”…so all I’m saying is I can show you any in love couple and there will be some photos where they “appear” to be upset with each other or “oh, no”, not looking over the top in love or all over each other. There are blinks…there are sun squints…there are “ew, really, we’re having dinner with your parents tonight” looks…that have nothing to do with the love they are feeling for each other on that day or any other. And, then, there’s the whole mature relationship point anyway in which no couple stares longingly at each other which huge plastered smiles on their faces and never, ever finds anything the other person does even slightly irritating…

But, then of course there’s the flipside…if they had shown pics of them doing the more lovey stuff, then they would have been faking…oy, whatever…it is sad the amount of cynicism in this world. I get that none of us actually knows what’s going on in their lives, but it’s sad that in light of no evidence supporting a change in their relationship, that some jump to them not being together or being publicity. I get that Disney may come across as a greedy cash cow, but that still doesn’t mean something real couldn’t develop under their noses. Why is it so hard to believe in love and the possibility of a relationship lasting? Sigh. But, there’s hope as it’s not all cynicism on the site. Anyway, enough sad thoughts…it’s a Zanessa day! :-D And a Friday to boot! Oh, happy day! ;-)

In my honest opinion the are no longer a couple but used to be before…they are working on HSM 3 so they are together and i’m sure they are still friends…the body language shows no level of intimacy nor the desire to be together…
I hope Zac moves on from here and get on with his life, his career or even better get back to school and further his education…i personally want him to go to college and maybe take a few years off from his career and come back as a full grown man when he’s about 25-26…just my thought…

To all people wondering about their rings - does filming a movie mean anything to you? As in no rings worn while filming or rehearsing? Zac hasn’t worn his since January - filming 2 movies and this is his third. Just metal and not worth worrying too much about. Check back after the movie is done filming and you may or may not see the rings - it doesn’t mean they’re over.

The video at the game is so terrific.

After reading all the speculation here about the two breaking up, I was relieved to see them out together. It was also an unusual show of affection for them to hold hands. So today is a reminder that we know nothing about Zac and Vanessa’s relationship but yet we all can’t help jumping to conclusions based on distant glimpses into their lives.

That being said, I am going to give you my two cents (sorry) …. In the video at the game, Zac seems much more self-conscious about drawing attention than Vanessa, who is so cool and confidant under the glare of publicity. Vanessa covers her mouth with her hand whenever she talks - probably hoping to avoid people reading her lips.

And the rings…I suspect that Zac and Vanessa had no idea that people would become obsessed about their rings when they bought them for each other in Hawaii. I doubt that Zac will ever wear his again and perhaps the Details cover, when he was twisting it,, was a send-off to his ring. After HSM3, I really don’t expect Vanessa to put back on her ring either. By not wearing the rings anymore, they will get a little more privacy from the prying. Plus as serious actors who are no longer teen-agers, they are probably ready to downplay that they are “going steady.” No more rings can be looked at as a sign of maturity, not a break-up.

To conclude, I am amazed how these two have managed all the attention, especially since the Hawaii pictures. Zac and Vanessa just keep on moving through all the ups and downs. I doubt that most of us could handle the pressures that these two do.

zanfan2, i TOTALLY agree! you make a great point!! people are making a big deal about those little peices of metal!!! rings don’t define whether people are dating or not!! we shouldn’t be making such a big deal out of them not wearing their rings!! there have been plenty of other times when they’ve been spotted not wearing them!!! and yet they were still dating!! just because they’re not wearing them doesn’t mean they’re over!! they obviously want to keep their relationship on the down low. maybe they thought not wearing those rings would help draw some of the attention away from themselves. obviously they didn’t know that, when they bought them, their fans would suddenly become obsessed with the fact that they have commitment rings!! i doubt any of us our helping them when we fight over whether they’re dating or not and make big deals out of little things!! it’s Zac and Vanessa’s buisness and we shouldn’t be butting our way into it!!

It can happen on a film set it does’nt very often I grant you and it doesnt always last but that’s not to say it won’t.

eg Kevin Bacon met his wife on a film set in 1988 and they are still together and growing strong it would seem.

Andhow can you say that we all know that deep down that they wont get married okayit’s afair comment becuase your right to a degree we dont know what the future holds for them but then again neither do you so nobody can say how long or how far this relactionship will go and weather it will lead to marriage that is a descision that only Z and V can decide. The reason a lot of us stick up for them is becuase it just sems that a lot of people find a problem with them being together when they dont even know them and seem to find it hard to acept that they have genuine felings for each other and should’nt be together becuase they got together so young so of course it can’t last or be real even though it’s been 3 years, but in those three years they have built someting that started as friendhsip and has grown into obvioulsy something deeper and something that they are both seem to be quite happy to carry on and just see where it goes.

And a lot of fan’s are’nt happy with Zac’s choice but it’s just that it’s his choice to be with Vanessa and he is after all 21 this year so I’m sure he know’s is own mind and doesnt need to be told by anyoe who and what make’s him happy and same with Vanessa she is 20 this year so neither are teenagers anymore but like she has said Zac make’s her happy and know’s how to make her smile, so if your a real fan of them then just be happy for them that they have found each other like you would be if it was two of your friends that got together young and are still going strong I know I would, it’s the same for them but becuase their in the public eye everytime their seen together and not showing enough PDA o keep people happy then there’s something wrong.

I know of two of my friends who got together the same age that Zac and Vanesa did and they are now both in their forties with two kids together and still very much together, so it can happen but it takes alot of work and true and genuine feelings for each other to make it last, nothing worth keping is ever easy but if you want it to last then you work on it and have Zac’s attitude that relactionships are scared and between the two people involved and nobody else, as once you let everyone into that part then it can cause problems, so they choose to keep a lot of their relactionship behind closd door’s and betwen just the two of them well good luck to them for that.

Just a little tidbit that I may have mentioned a couple weeks ago but some may have missed it. As many may know the longtime great actor Charlton Heston died just a couple weeks ago. He was married to the same woman, Lydia, for 64 years! They both were actors. Lydia pretty much gave up acting in the mid-60’s but they still were both in the same profession for some time when they first got together. He said in an interview that she was the FIRST girl he dated—that he just got it right from the very beginning. He had not reached his 20th birthday yet before they married… It does and can happen.

But even if Zac and Vanessa’s careers eventually cause them to be separated too much where they decide to go different directions—or maybe they will try dating others and even come back together—-why can’t people just be happy for them right NOW because they obviously make each other happy RIGHT NOW. Why do people have to find fault and be such cynics just because of their ages, because they are cute together, or just because some people can ‘t stand or want to believe in some kind of magic or happiness in this world when it comes to love?

Say it isn’t so!!! Did anyone else see this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly Magazine? It reported that Zac’s film Seventeen is going straight to DVD!!!
