OlderHigh School Musical 3 — Zanessa Edition!
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens work up a sweat at a dance rehearsal for the upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, at a hush-hush location in Utah on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Looks like Zanessa’s still going strong, folks! How cute is Vanessa passing Zac a set of car keys behind her back???
Also spotted on set was Vanessa’s 22-year-old BFF Ashley Tisdale, who wore a “I Love Pink” shirt. Vanessa, 19, was also seen wearing “Eighty Sixers” sweats and carrying a UPS box with an envelope sticking out with her name on it. Zac, 20, was spotted holding a box of Nike sneakers.

HSM3 has a tentative release date of Friday, October 24.

If Zac and Vanessa’s relationship was a publicity stunt, why did we only get confirmed proof of their relationship in Hawaii (May 2007) over a year after they started dating (October 2005). And this proof only came when neither Zac or Vanessa knew that any paparazzi or cameras were there and were simply trying to have a relaxing vacation after working their butts off doing High School Musical 2.
And how come, after their realtionship was completely obvious - if you have seen the Hawaii photos, it is obvious. The kissing, touching, loving looks and as Zac’s dad called it ‘frolicking’ lol - why did Zac and Vanessa continue to deny their relationship? Or simply say they were dating, but refused to comment further on it? The most revealing interview we have got from either Zac or Vanessa was probably Vanessa’s Seventeen magazine interview where she stated ‘He just knows exactly what to do to make me laugh’ and when asked about if she thought about her and Zac having a future together she said ‘No. But only time will tell’ Surely if this relationship weas for publicity, she would have answered with something like ‘There’s a very strong publicity that me and Zac will stay together in the future’ making all the children and ‘tweens’ happy and supposedly making them want to watch High School Musical more?!
And why, does nearly every set of candid photos we have - including this current set we are commenting on - does not have any Spencer & Heidi style kissing or hand holding but instead has the odd touch (such as Vanessa handing Zac the keys in these photos and Zac grasping her hand as she does it) or in, for example the last set of New Year’s Date photos from this year, a few glances towards each other.)
The fact is, if Disney wanted a couple from High School Musical to get together to publicise High School Musical, my guess is they would have gone for Zac & Ashley. Ashley was the most well known female in the cast due to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and various other Disney projects that would have made her more aware to the audience of HSM than any of the other female cast members.
Also, High School Musical was aired before anyone had any good, solid proof that Zac & Vanessa were a couple and it still did extraordinarily well. People like the movie. Nothing to do with whether the latest Zac & Vanessa photos have been posted on JustJared or not. Most kids don’t even know about that.
Anyway, I’m reaaaallly happy these two are back together. :D I heart them. (No, this does not mean I am more inclined to go watch HSM3 now. Gah.)

Ok, I have been reading the comments and have seen how people are saying, “They aren’t happy”, “This is just a publicity stunt”, “Zac is gay”, but seriously if it WAS a publicity stunt, wouldn’t having them break up be better. Since they are Hollywood’s new young “supercouple”. I am sure many would have wanted to know MORE about the “break-up”. And saying they aren’t “happy” is stupid. There aren’t many pictures, and paparazzi cameras take like 4 billion pictures every 3 seconds. And paps pick pictures that they know will make people notice, so “sad” pictures would do it. There could be pictures where they WERE holding hands, but we don’t know that. Also I agree with #61 - rosielee9 #62 - erica. They can’t be followed every minute. We don’t know if they did act like a couple in the private. Besides, we shouldn’t care if they are together or not. Its THEIR private life, not OURS. Last time I checked we weren’t dating Zac and Vanessa now were we. The reason they get followed by paps and is because we want to know about their private lives. Its us that is making them so miserable. I know its hard to realize but we are the reasons there are paps.

I love that picture of Zac wrapping his hand round Vanessa’s when he get’s the key to some degree that is a show of PDA when he thinks no-one will see, he did’nt have to do that he could have just taken the keys straight off her. The thing is with their relactionship and what I like about it is that they show PDA with each other when they feel right doing it and not just for the sake of whatever pap’s might be around at the time, and if they don’t want to hold hands that’s fine they know their feelings don’t depend on that action alone.
And if it was for publicity then hey’ve done a bloody brilliant job of keeping it going for so long after all once all the promotion work for HSM was done they did’nt need to hang out together, and they certainly did’nt need to take a vacation together they could just have gone their seperate ways.
All these little touches when they think no-one can see weather it be when filming in HSM and w’ve seen loads of them or when their promoting HSM just scream out at you that what they feel about each other is real and that seems to be a big problem for some people who can’t seem to beleive that you can be a couple and in love without slobering all over each other in public, but instead want to keep certain things in that relactionship just betweenthe two people involved and cherish it and work on it. They are in a tough buisness that puts a big strain on anyrelactionship where seperaton will occur at some point in that relactionship and Zac and Vanessa have certainly had their fair share of that from very early on in the relactionship but have coped very well with it.
As for wil they always be together nobody know’s the answer to that as Vanessa said herself ‘only time will tell’ so for the moment their enjoying their time togther and still growing as people and also has a couple and coping with things most couple’s deal with the only difference is they have the pap’s watching their every move.
I say good luck to them and hope their getting to relax a bit inbetween dance rehersals and ahving fun.

Have to admit that while I’ve been happy for them getting a break from the photogs, it was still quite nice to see these pics today…squealing did occur. :-) And, Steph, someone was listening to us last night…or perhaps it’s the collective vibes. ;-)

I don’t think that Zac and Vanessa are still a couple…and I don’t think that Zac is gay. They’re being cordial to one another due to working together…I think Vanessa is the gay one here. I like her, but she’s extremely female friendly, more friendly than with Zac. And of course she wouldn’t want to publically display her affections for her man.
I can’t wait for HMS 3…Nor can I wait to see Seventeen again.
I think Zac needs to be more in the press so he will not be forgottten, or looked over…as for the others…they’ll make their way…I’m all for Zac and his career…he’s got a shot at being a very good actor and I think Orson Welles and Me will prove that if not HMS 3 and Seventeen Again that will come out before OW&M.
