Their not wearing rings…Their probably overrrrrr

To all people wondering about their rings - does filming a movie mean anything to you? As in no rings worn while filming or rehearsing? Zac hasn’t worn his since January - filming 2 movies and this is his third. Just metal and not worth worrying too much about. Check back after the movie is done filming and you may or may not see the rings - it doesn’t mean they’re over.

The video at the game is so terrific.

After reading all the speculation here about the two breaking up, I was relieved to see them out together. It was also an unusual show of affection for them to hold hands. So today is a reminder that we know nothing about Zac and Vanessa’s relationship but yet we all can’t help jumping to conclusions based on distant glimpses into their lives.

That being said, I am going to give you my two cents (sorry) …. In the video at the game, Zac seems much more self-conscious about drawing attention than Vanessa, who is so cool and confidant under the glare of publicity. Vanessa covers her mouth with her hand whenever she talks - probably hoping to avoid people reading her lips.

And the rings…I suspect that Zac and Vanessa had no idea that people would become obsessed about their rings when they bought them for each other in Hawaii. I doubt that Zac will ever wear his again and perhaps the Details cover, when he was twisting it,, was a send-off to his ring. After HSM3, I really don’t expect Vanessa to put back on her ring either. By not wearing the rings anymore, they will get a little more privacy from the prying. Plus as serious actors who are no longer teen-agers, they are probably ready to downplay that they are “going steady.” No more rings can be looked at as a sign of maturity, not a break-up.

To conclude, I am amazed how these two have managed all the attention, especially since the Hawaii pictures. Zac and Vanessa just keep on moving through all the ups and downs. I doubt that most of us could handle the pressures that these two do.

zanfan2, i TOTALLY agree! you make a great point!! people are making a big deal about those little peices of metal!!! rings don’t define whether people are dating or not!! we shouldn’t be making such a big deal out of them not wearing their rings!! there have been plenty of other times when they’ve been spotted not wearing them!!! and yet they were still dating!! just because they’re not wearing them doesn’t mean they’re over!! they obviously want to keep their relationship on the down low. maybe they thought not wearing those rings would help draw some of the attention away from themselves. obviously they didn’t know that, when they bought them, their fans would suddenly become obsessed with the fact that they have commitment rings!! i doubt any of us our helping them when we fight over whether they’re dating or not and make big deals out of little things!! it’s Zac and Vanessa’s buisness and we shouldn’t be butting our way into it!!
