High School Musical couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens check out the the Utah Jazz/Houston Rockets game Thursday night at the EnergySolutions Arena.
“I was watching them. They were rooting for the Jazz,” said Fox 13 Sports Director Rick Aaron.
In this video, you’ll see Zanessa pointing up toward the Jumbotron, then looking quizzically toward the camera. In the middle, they even hold hands. Zanessa didn’t sit front row as they watched the Rockets beat out the Jazz in a 94-92 win.

After seeing the video hundreds of times by now, since I love it so much, I think that the cameras made Zac a little un easy or maybe he was just really surprised that they were filming them, and that’s why Vanessa grabs his hand, he did say something to her and held on to her hand tighter. Also, if you look closely at the footage of when they stand up, before they notice the camera they were also/still holding hands.
I dunno what Zac was saying at one point but I think that Vanessa replied with ‘I know, I’m so exited’, maybe they did expect to be seen on the big screen, well, I think that the guys around them expected the same thing, since they kept looking and smiling into the camera, although, didn’t they notice that the camera was pointed towards them for a really long time and that when it usually show some people at the big screen it’s only for a few seconds.
Their just the cutes couple ever and it was great to see that they were able to go out alone for an evening, just the two of them since they’ve spent so much time apart.
They clearly dont know anything about basketball or care because that was a close playoff game and they werent even into it.

At last Zanessa together. They are the perfect couple. Not even a separation of 3months can spoil their relationship. I think absence makes the heart grow fonder. Zac and Vanessa look so comfortable with each other. I’m still rooting for both of you. Way to Go Zanessa!
Well, considering that these two became a couple before Disney even knew that the movie was going to be so big proves that it’s not a publicity stunt, besides, I seriously doubt that neither Zac or Vanessa would miss the chance to meet a Girlfriend or Boyfriend just to keep Disney happy, they don’t seem like the kind of people that would but each other or others through that, besides, when they don’t do anything that’s got something to do with ‘HSM’, like this game (because otherwise I bet that the whole HSM gang would have attended and they would have been seated in the front row where everyone could have seen them), Disney can’t tell them what to do.

#54 - jen, I think that they all think that the camera is one of those that shows the crowd in the big screen that shows the game over the court, that’s why they keep looking up to it and I think that Vanessa says “I know, I’m so exited” maybe she haven’t seen herself on one of those before.
In some games they have those things when you can call in ahead and say which seats they have, and they show pictures of couples, birthday people and stuff like that on the screen, and the couples usually kiss, I do wonder that if someone would have told them that ‘zanessa’ was there, if they would have kissed.

sneakernight is the worst song i have ever heard
They’ve been to a couple basketball games together before, there are fan pics. They weren’t even in the front seats. You would think after pictures and pictures of them at each others homes, with their famlies and witnesses who are on set extras people would get it by now. Idiots are gonna be idiots I suppose. It’s been a couple years, I wonder if they’ll last the next few ears. Because if they do it’s going to be a lot more funnier laughing at those who still can’t accept reality.

About the jumbotron thing…it’s not strange for them to anticipate they could be on it…being who they are and if they had spotted the cameras on them, etc. Besides that, they could just be enjoying the other stuff being shown up there. And, also, if they’re doing a panning the audience thing, most people watch it…you can’t help yourself…you want to see who’s shown up there and you want to be aware if they show you so you don’t get caught looking dumb.
You just can’t help yourself. Anyway, love the vid. They’re cute. Agree she’s being comforting…they seem comfortable and to be having a good time. Also, they do seem into the game…at least Zac…he definitely seems to have a reaction to the penalty stuff that occurs on the court. Also, this vid shows less than 2 mins of the entire game…so you can’t really fairly assess how into the game they were for that period of time.
I have to say that the cynicism is really running thick here tonight. WHY is it so damn hard to believe they are a couple? I’m not saying madly in love or soulmates or what have you, nobody knows how deep it runs but them, but just just that they are dating? that was funny but I agree with you. Vanessa seemed more into the camera person because she kept looking over there and then when she realized they just keep focusing on her and Zac she about yanks his arm out of the socket so she could grab his hand. Zac seemed to be really into the game. When they stood up they might have been holding hands for like a second then Zac put his hand the one next to Vanessa in his shirt why not the other one just seems odd to me. I just feel like Zac at some point might have mentioned he had Jazz tickets and Vanessa weasled her way into going because she could have given a hoot about that game. I agree. When I see a random couple on the streets that look or act the way Zac and Vanessa look or act, I don’t automatically assume they have some kind of hidden agenda or problem. Its ridiculous for people to think Zac and Vanessa are a special case when it comes to coupledom.
They act like an ordinary couple, look like an ordinary couple, the only difference between them and an ordinary couple is the fact that they’re famous. You don’t have to be interested in or know any game to attend one. Vanessa was just there to accompany Zac. See, if she shows a bit of public affection people says she’s putting it on. And if there’s no such display, they’re losing interest in each other and that they’re together for show. And if people want to find a fault, they will go looking at every minute detail ie. scrutinise any situation or pic just to justify their warped perception of things.
