High School Musical couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens check out the the Utah Jazz/Houston Rockets game Thursday night at the EnergySolutions Arena.
“I was watching them. They were rooting for the Jazz,” said Fox 13 Sports Director Rick Aaron.
In this video, you’ll see Zanessa pointing up toward the Jumbotron, then looking quizzically toward the camera. In the middle, they even hold hands. Zanessa didn’t sit front row as they watched the Rockets beat out the Jazz in a 94-92 win.

Omdz how sweet i feel bad cause at first i thought vanessa grabbed zacs hand because of the camera!!! If you watch it again zac get nervous and aggravated so she takes his hand and he instantly carms down!!!!

as far Vanessa looking good - I pointed this out somewhere last night - she looked great and really think she had on one of the white t shirts that a lot of others around them had on - and then put her jacket back on - at a lot of games the sponsors give out shirts to like the first so many people to the game - it just looks like one of the shirts and then she “styled it up” in her own way…..just my theory. She looked great if it was or wasn’t - always the right assessories, hair, etc.
Aw, they look adorable here, and to the people that think they’re a “publicity stunt”, you’re wasting your time, because the real fans know that they’re are going out, it’s obvious by the way they look at each other(Someone has already pointed that out).
Laura, I have to agree with you on them being a stlyish couple. Zac always looks really well put together, and I love Vanessa’s style.
And I have a question though, does anyone know where the first two pictures of Vanessa are from?
I know the 3rd picture is from GQ Magazine but I’ve never seen the first too..

Hello all.. I have been a lurker for awhile now. Just so you are aware I am no teenager haven’t been one for over 30 years..The reason I am finally coming on here is cause the comments I have read.. And yes! I know I am way over the demographics for High School Musical, but as a youngster I remember the best time of my life where watching Disney.. Anyway..my main purpose was to explain some things to certain people about the misconception in reading into the hand holding situation. Obviously I have been around awhile, and I know as a women whose been in alot of relationships and now married for over 20 years. Vanessa and Zac’s relationship is no publicity stunt I can assure you. One she was not pointing at papparazzi they are not allowed at these functions. The camera(s) that she was potentially looking at are all around the stadium..no one ever knows who they are pointing towards. And the looking at what you thought was camera, she was talking to Zac about the foul call play, cause obviously she does not understand basketball. Anyway the hand holding is just a simple jesture of love, I do that with my husband out of the blue when we watch hockey games, or we go to football games. NOT FOR ANY PUBLICITY….and as far as people thinking Disney set them up..NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE can came in and implement ones heart, especially those relationships that begin at such a young age..(hence forth you remember Vanessa was 16 during HSM1 and Zac was 17)..My final conclusion, for the ones who don’t like the haters, just ignore, know that they are doing this just to get your feathers ruffled, they were, are and never have been fans. If you leave them alone and not comment eventually they will get board and move somewhere else. Just continue with your gracious comments on two kids who I and quite a few others truly find talented, good looking and self depricating.. I is and will continue to be a joy watching them and their careers grow.
As an adult it’s refreshing to see two hollywood kids being kids and allowing their present careers, papparazzi pictures, etc…influence them otherwise..here my final thought, a little proverb. KNOW WHAT IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK YOU SEE. (confusious) that’s all I have to say..It was bugging me to know avail how cruel kids could be towards people they no clue about except what’s written, and that is not always truthful..

Marcella, the first two were also from GQ. Really don’t know what these naysayers want. When the rehearsal pictures came out, they were unhappy together because they didn’t hold hands. In the video they’re fake because they do. They look happy together, get over it. Notice how rested he looks compared to the airport photos. Vanessa does add her “flavor” to whatever she wears.
I dunno, it’s very possible that she didn’t see the camera and just pointed towards the court (at least at first, then maybe she noticed the camera I’m not sure) because once she did grab Zac’s hand neither she nor Zac were looking towards the camera which I think they would have if it would have been for publicity, also, after Vanessa reaches for his hands he does lean closer to her and looks more relaxed, not the other way around.
And like someone have said, why wouldn’t they have courtside tickets if they would have wanted to be seen together. However, if they had seen the camera, I think that they thought that it was to show them on the big screen over the court and not from a news station, because every game is crowded with cameras.
I’m not sure but I think that Zac might be saying something like “I’ve never been on one of those before” (about the Arena Jumbotron) and I’m more sure that at least Vanessa replied “I know, I’m so exited”
#212 - Annie, - that wasn’t paparazzi, it was a camera from an online news place, otherwise I think that Zac and Vanessa wouldn’t have been smiling in the second part of the video when the camera is really close to them.

There is more then one erica on here, which is even confusing for me, since we both have different opinions. My name does however have a link to my youtube page so that gives me away.
What’s funny to me is the man beside them He’s the one playing up to the camera. I can just see him telling his friends and family to watch for him on the news. They are adorable just the way they are. We really don’t want them to turn into Heidi and Spencer, do we?

Oh, I love them so much. I’m willing to surrender hounding JJ for pictures of them if they can be alone. I feel like we, as fans, are stunting their growth. I have a guilt conscious over this. In any case, I love that they can be together in spite of constant scrutiny.
