I agree with your post and that is what my feeling was when I first saw the video—that maybe it was Vanessa that needed Zac’s support when she thought a camera was on them. But as you were mentioning, he didn’t seem to have a problem responding in kind by holding her hand just as tight. I think the gesture was very much like “We’re in this together, whatever happens”.

And Chocolate Babe: As I watched the video more than once I also had the thought of Vanessa thinking more or less once she may have spotted the camera—”Yeah, all you naysayers, we’re together, what’s it to ya?” LOL

Paula and Boji: I have been saying this for some time how Zac does no wrong and Vanessa can’t seem to do anything right. It seems to be that way with couples, one will be selected as the “good” partner and the other one will be the “bad” side of the coin. It’s not fair. It was never so evident as with Zac’s last thread about the boy who died with cancer who he had visited in the United Kingdom. I don’t believe there was ONE insulting post about Zac. On the other hand when Vanessa went to Miami do do charitable work, went to Washington DC over Christmas to raise money for children, did the Bowling thing—what happened to her? Haters and came out of the woodwork to say insulting and belittling things about her.

I really love the vid. I’ve watched it so many times. I just enjoy seeing them enjoy each other in such a normal way. They really have the comfort level in theor relationship that most happily married couple do have and that’s great for a young couple facing the pressures they face. I’m so rooting for them, they seem to have their heads in the right place.

As for those here or on whichever site arguing about whether it’s fake or not. The important thing is that they can argue till kingdom come but their opinions don’t matter to either Vanessa or Zac or to their fans either so they can save their breath.

Of course there will be people that don’t like vanessa and Zac, there are people I don’t like and, honestly, I have no clue what is going on in their lives because I can’t be bothered,
What puzzles me is the time and energy so called haters devote to followin up with news about them, looking at any picture posted, watching and rewatching videos of them, analysing and debating those videos etc for someone you don’t like?!!

It’s almost sadistic because you spend time you could have devoted to a star you really like trying to convince yourself and others that their relationship is fake while they are in their own world having a blast, not even aware that you exist.

I actually feel sorry for Zac because some of his fans appear not to trust his judgement, don’t respect him, don’t like to see him happy and don’t care for him as the person he is. They are just his fans because of his so called hotness and the image THEY want of him. He has to go out with who THEY want him to go out with and do what THEY want him to do before they can be happy. They’ve put him on a perfection pedestal and he has to maintain that image to keep them happy.
Finally it’s all about them and what they want, not about Zac or what makes him happy. The sooner he looses these fans, the better for him.

At least Vanessa’s fans have shown they care about her as a person, are aware of her imperfections but love her all the same and that love most of the time is extended to anybody associated with her because we TRUST HER judgement about what is best for her and support her all the same. That is why she feels free to be herself because she has no image to maintain to her fans. We love her for who she is and we always have her back.

You have a point about Zac’s fans and Vanessa’s fans. Zac has those “fans” who always seem to know what’s “best” for him when it comes to choosing someone to love. I love it (NOT) when people say he would be better with Ashley or whoever. They seem not to believe he knows who makes his heart beat faster, his palms to sweat, and his respirations to increase, let alone who puts a smile on his face and love and desire in his eyes.

Vanessa, on the other hand rarely hear her fans telling her she should ditch Zac—I know it happens once in a while but not much. Maybe it is because more females frequent chat boards like this or fansites like zefron. AND unfortunately, females tend to be catty and let their jealousy show. They may not like it when the word jealousy or insecurity is brougt up but it is true nevertheless. Male attention is really important to many females and it is many time their arena of competition. Males do not tend to backbite or put down other males. Inside they may feel a little threatened but they don’t always talk about it or make it known in the same way. Succeeding in work and tings like that is their arena of competition most of the time. That is how they get the type notice they want—and it doesn’t just bring rewards career wise but also in female attention, etc. At any rate, most of Vanessa’s fans stand behind her no matter what her choices are and try not to second guess her.

That’s so true Karen people don’ have a problem when Zac does anything afectionate to Vanesa however small it’s seen as cute, but when Vanessa does it then al hell seemsto b reak loose and the nasty coments come out about how’s she’s making him do all these things just to make it look like their a couple.

He does’nt seem to me to be in a hurry to pull away from Vanessa when she does hold his hand and eve before that they sat very close to one another again I did’nt se anyone making Zac sit that close to Vanessa he did it on his own and when they are standing up again they stand virtually shoulder to shouler, are smiling and looking very comfortable and like any other couple enjoying a night out and to top it off he does what he has done on numerous occasions and rubs her back quickly before the camera catches it to much but the gesture is there.

Vanessa does her fair share of doing charity things that don’t get reported but perhaps she prefers it like that and wants to be known for her acting and singing, but that does not mean that people should come on a thread about someone they supposedly don’t like and say nasty things about her or her relactionship with that special someone, it’s not our buisness it’s her and Zac’s.

I have said that before too poppy that what goes on behind closed door’s nobody but those people know and to be honest why should they tell anybody else, they have been apart for nearly 3 months and back together for nearly two weks out of the public eye and these are the first picture’s and video of them trying to get on with their jobs and having some quality time together like any other couple, as it should be any real deep shows of affection have been kept between the two of them and not shown i public, but then agian they have never been anything different so good for them and I hope they enjoy their time together and contiune to grow in every way.

the REAL reason noone knows who either of them are is that:

(1) people aren’t used to seeing Vanessa with her clothes on. most of the pictures of her on the internet are those gross ones she took for drake bell!

(2) zac mostly hangs out at gay bars and gym locker rooms….and he has lost his good looks….his hair is really thin and receding and he has lost all his weight….he looks like he is dieing.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY: neither of them have done anything since HSM except that Seventeen movie that is going straight to DVD!!!

Why would anyone from Disney bother to go to a game that has nothing to do with them, also Zac and Vanesa are’nt the only one’s you can see clearly when they are sitting down, but your theory that all becuase they can be seen in a unobstructed view it’s staged does’nt excatly quite add up as once the other people stand up at one point then all you can see is Zac’s face and not that clearly and yet when everyone sits down they ar still holding hands by that time they could have let go of each other as by all acciounts by then they knew that they were being filmed so why kep holding hands just for the sake of it.

Zac and Vanessa don’t need to prove anything to anyone they are comfortable being around each other and with themselves so if they want to hold hands then that’s their buisness nobody else’s.

first of all I want to comment because they are not wearing their rings does not mean they are not together. I am not sure but it looks like theyare wearing the red braclets that they use to wear before the rings.
second about the hand holding why can’t a girl hold her boyfriends hand first. does the guy always have to take the girls hand?
third I do not think this is for publicity (sorry for the spelling) I think that if Zac did not want to hold her hand he would have leet go but instead he held on tight to hers and lended in closer to her. They were also laughing and giggleing that to me does not look like a couple who does not enjoy being together.
