OlderOrlando & Miranda are the Derby Duo

Cute couple Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr make their first public appearance together at the AJC Australian Derby (David Jones Marquee) on Emirates Doncaster Day at the Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday in Sydney, Australia.
Kerr, 24, wore a beautiful long-sleeved black Collette Dinnigan dress, Prada clutch, Yves Saint Laurent stilettos and a matching netted hat.
Yesterday, Orly finally met Miranda’s father, John Kerr.
“It was fun … [but] it wasn’t a big deal lunch,” Kerr said of her lunch with Bloom and her parents.

I wish I could say they look happy and sweet together, but I can’t. She just comes off as so shallow and fame hungry. She certainly always knows where the cameras are. I can’t help but feel like Orlando’s being trotted out like some prize stallion. He used to be so private and discreet. It makes me sad to see him throw away that integrity. I still adore him, but wish he had better taste in women.
now that i think about - i think you may be right karmakey. but of course the only ones who know for sure would be the two of him. as long as he is honest with himself. which doesn’t seem like he is i’m afraid. but then again we’ll probably never know. time will tell. i’m a writer and i try to get inspiration from sincere love expressed between two people. and i’m not getting as much inspiration out of these two anymore. maybe it’s time to look else where.

i must say, orlando can do so much better than that thing.
Black is perfectly appropriate for a daytime event, and long as it isn’t covered in sequins. And since this is a Black and White event, it is perfect. I think that she could have chosen a younger hat though.

depends on who you ask. She likes to tell the press they are but if you follow him you would know that he was just recently seen out at the clubs with a bunch of other women. He isn’t showing signs of being serious but she is trying to nail him down. Good luck with that but I think the saying goes “he’sjust not that into you” Miranda.
If he was really serious about a girl most of his fans think he wouldn’t let her use him or he wouldn’t invite a agency like wireimage to a lunch meeting with her dad like that. It’s just a way to let her act like its a big deal in her home town.

They are an odd coupling..two extremely attractive (although the dress she chose for this event does not flatter her at all) people but they look sparkless.
What’s his reason for staying in it with her if he can get so much booty at the snap of his fingers?
