“On Saturday night, we met Kelly for dinner at North Bondi Italian. While we were having a drink and waiting for our table, guess who showed up? Yes, that’s right, couple of the moment, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr. They apparently made their first public appearance together earlier that day, at the races.

I don’t actually think I’ve seen Orlando in anything other than OK! magazine, and I am not entirely familiar with Miranda’s oeuvre; she’s only a Victoria’s Secret model (overrated American underwear brand, known mainly for its curvaceous models). But she has recently been signed to be the new face of David Jones, replacing the gorgeous Megan Gale, so I guess I’ll be seeing a lot more of her. Cos we hang at the same places, you know.

FYI, he looked quite weedy and not extraordinarily good-looking in person. She was certainly tall and very skinny with racehorse-type legs. Cade had never even heard of Miranda Kerr before Saturday night, but he spent Sunday morning googling images of her.”

She has the cutest dimples. I still think he should go back to Kate Bosworth. I thought they were great together.

I’m not from Australia, so I have a quick question about a turn of phrase the blogger used- “…..he looked quite weedy”? Where I come from that phrase would have a certain connotation, and I was wondering if it was the same there?
Also interesting, ” only a Victoria Secret model” and “I think I’ve only ever seen him in OK! Magazine”. That pretty much says it all about them, doesn’t it? Sad little desperate d-list celebrities/social climbers.

All the comments about the “Evil Miranda” and “Disadvantaged Orlando” seem to say that you believe Orlando is either pretty stupid or has done something very bad that he could be so taken advantage of by this wanton hussy. Either way, adding all the comments to “Orlando’s thread” is not supporting him - just making him look dumber than dirt.

You people are delusional and need to come to grips with reality. The reason he’s doing so much for her, if in fact he is, is because he’s hitting it and you must accept it - ’cause it must be pretty good! :).

So many people who know all the intimate details of OB’s and MK’s lives. It is really quite amazing. Are you all personal friends or something?

And so many people who must be extremely good looking indeed … if they think OB and MK are ugly.

The main thing that annoys me about MK, is that she says she is writing a book about nutrition - a subject which she has studied for two years!!! The idea of a model writing a book at all, and then on top of it one on nutrition of all things (how to survive on 2 lettuce leaves and 100 vitamin tablets a day) …. Words fail me.

And the main thing that annoys me about OB, is that he is just taking the easy route with his career - popcorn film after popcorn film. He does not need to keep doing them for the money. You could conclude that he realises he is a crap actor, so there is no point signing up for quality films - but I think he can act, at least some of the time (e.g. Ned Kelly).

Anyway, OB and MK are just a couple. Can’t imagine they’ll stay together forever. She won’t hurt his very lucrative career, and he certainly won’t hurt her career. They’re both laughing all the way to the bank, regardless of the many dopey comments both here and on IMDB.

I am one of OB’s biggest fans but I can’t help agree that this situation looks like a publicity stunt to keep him in the public eye because his career seems to have prematurely come to an end.

It’s very sad because if this goes on, all his fans are going to lose respect for him…

He left the “An Education” production people in a difficult situation when he decided to opt out at the last minute cos of some part in a film in Hong Kong - and what’s happened? That was in March and its May now and there’s still no sign of any film in Hong Kong - I think he made a big mistake. Now he’s only good for being a trophy boyfriend for Miranda to wheel out at every event to boost her ratings

I think it all starts out with good intentions but once the gf realizes how being connected to OB can boost her career and media coverage then she becomes this attention hungry paparazzi worshipper! It’s human nature (for women especially) to crave attention and they get more than their fair share with OB.

I feel sorry for him… What can he do? It’s not his fault they get such attention - and it’s definitely not his fault that his gfs end up loving the limelight more than him. With OB they get a caring bf and all the media attention they could ever want… What more could they ask for????

Had anyone ever heard of Kate Bosworth before she got her claws into OB????

you know what i agree with you he needs sombody humble average looking and sombody who will encourage him to start working agian. hes my favorite actor and i wish that he will do somthing else then just waist his time on a vain superficioul person like her.

He needs someone who won’t care about the paparazzi and all that attention - someone who will take care of him, encourage him and support him so that he has the confidence to go out there and get the parts he deserves… Instead of complaining that he sleeps with his dog and wears the same clothes every day (which is what MK did)!

He clearly needs a woman around but one that is more interested in him than her own reflection in the mirror :)
