Zac Efron is Shirtless! Shirtless! Shirtless!
Zac Efron shows off his washboard abs in a shirtless moment on the set of High School Musical 3 at a top secret location in Utah on Friday.
Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was not far behind showing off some leopard-print undergarment. Zac was also seen wearing a Wildcats (ROAR!) basketball uniform, carrying a Nordstrom shopping bag and a stick (presumably for stick ball).
Per usual, Zanessa was spotted holding hands. Everybody now… Awww!

As much as I want to get excited this kind of sucks (don’t get upset yet, try and hear me out). I was really rooting that they’d be able to film without photos leaking out, which up until a few weeks ago they were able to do for the most part during rehearsals and not be spotted.
I like any other fan love seeing them active and working, but I guess it’s a mixture of guilt-ridden excitement (if that makes any sense at all) because I don’t think these pictures do anything- other than start stupid fights about Zac having 4 nipples (huh?????) and help JJ get more hits…
Hopefully it won’t be like the Sex and the City movie where TONS of spoiler pics were taken and released to the media.

Geez…I still can’t believe the good luck of having this much Zanessa in the past two days. Be still my heart…hee! It’s nice to see all of them. They’re lookin’ good…really hoping HSM3 is awesome. It’s a tricky thing…a lot of build up, pressure, and expectations and knowing it’s the last one for them to all be doing together. But, i feel confident it will be great…same great talent and their chemistry jumping off at you from the big screen…wow…the trilogy will be a wonderful combined story.

As far as his haircut, it’s left over from the MAOW film shoot, but it’s still not too bad considering that it makes him look younger, like the senior high schooler he is to portray in HSM3. He’ll probably cut it after it’s over, but then again he doesn’t like to cut his hair.
As far as the hand holding doubter, yes, if you look carefully at the picture again you can see that they’re definitely holding hands because you can see one of her fingers coming up on the other side of his hand.

My, my, I’m about to overdose here. It’s Christmas come early this year!
I think if Zac’s hair was a little longer in the back or a little shorter on the sides it would be fine. Right now it has a little two “square” or “box” look to it. But it is because of how it was cut and for MAOW. And in that movie he wears the front and sides combed back so he needed it longer on the top but the back needed to be shorter. Now, it just doesn’t completely go together but wouldn’t need much “fixing” to make it right. But he’s a cutey anyway.

I think Vanessa looks so good in these kinds of colors–purple, orchid, aqua, deep blues. They just show off that beautiful coloring of hers. Zac talked in Rolling Stone how the girls he had dated were usually pretty cute and he guessed he aimed high—I wonder if he ever thought his aim would reach this high? LOL When he looks at Vanessa I imagine it about takes his breath away.
This is what I think happen (just My opinion) They want to take some publicity shots of Zac and come back from the Europe he has no tan. So they put that bronzer on his arms, legs and head and when took off the uniforn to put his clothes back on it got smeared You see little splothes here and there I’m sure it will all come off in the wash.
As for leaking pictures of the movie, I doubt that will happen> Whoever is taking these photos is outside waiting for them to come out Now that thery know we’ll probally see a lot less of them

He was sick and lost weight. Calm down. They probably told him to get fit and when he did and didn’t really gain weight except muscle, which is why i think he has those indents. In Hawaii and on Rolling Stone it wasn’t like that, so i’m guessing him being sick has to do with it.

If you look closely at the photograph you can see that Zac has a HERPES sore on his lower chest near his belly button. (I am a nurse so I recognize it from sight.) He must have gotten herpes from Vanessa because she is such a tramp.

What gets me with this thread is that all these people coming on and saying nasty comments about Zac and everyonne else’s body the only thing I can think of is that themselvesmust have the most perfect bodies in the world and that’s why they feel the need to say such nasy things.
How is Vanessa showing her bra of she’s not the one shirtless all you can see is a bit of it and the straps on the photo of them holding hands which is no suprise considering the kind of top she has on, she’s also at work filming so why would she put heavy clothes on.
And obvioulsy Zac is’nt going to have a tan becuase of where he’s been filming I live in the UK and beleive me the weather has’nt been no where good enough to get a tan plus he was also working not here on a holiday.
I’m surprised that the comments have’nt started about holding hands becuase they knew the cameras were there like at the game they went to, but unless they have eyes in the back of their heads that would be impossible.
What gets me is also the comments people have made on the other threads about how they don’t sem to lovey dovey as they used so but from what I remember they havenever been a couple to openly make out in public andslober all over each other so all they are doing now is what they’ve always done and just be themselves with the odd hand holding when they feel like doing it, the closeness and the loving looks are still there and the little gestures like at the game when Zac put his hand n Vanessa’s back for a while.
So who cares if he has’nt got the perfect body he’s happy with it and I can imagine that Vanessa has no complaints I personally think he has bulked up really nice since he first appeared in HSM and has grown into his body after all he is 21 this year, just Vanessa she is a really pretty young lady.
So if people have a problem looking at their bodies on this thread then don’t look and go and look at some other body that they class as perfect.

#299 Karen, I thought maybe that was a scar on the left side ,but thought the appendix was on the right. I know with that type of surgery they make around three incisions so they can move about and see what they are doing. My daughter had that type of surgery on her gallbladder and she too has one mark on the left side like that. At any rate he sure looks great except maybe a touched up haircut would look better. I think he is growing out the previous style to make his hair look longer, but it is not really working for him. I’m sure the hairstylists will fix him up before they film.

I won’t make a comment about that statement because it OBVIOUS that Vanessa has an awesome body, but I would like to say to all these persons that think or say “Vanessa is fat”:
Do you know what ANOREXY means? Well, with that comment you are making people thinks things like: OMG, if they think that Vanessa is fat they would see me as a whale!
I’m saying this because I had a friend with ANOREXY and it is one of the worsts things that you can imagine. Thanks JJ for getting more pix. These are great! Zac looks fantastic as always. A little less tired than the airport pix, but still looks a bit tired. How can he keep getting more and more attractive. It’s amazing.
He actually looks like he’s gained 5-10 lbs along the way. He was thin in Hawaii, after HSM2. You can tell in his face and jaw when he’s gained weight. He looks good in these pix. Just the right amount of weight. We’ll see what these HSM3 dance rehearsals do. Usually he drops weight rapidly. I hope he keeps the weight on for filming, but I am sure he’ll have to work at it.

Why do people have to be so critical?? It’s so weird. I’m sure you’d all be totally mortified if a picture of you was posted on here, and people picked you apart bit by bit.
All I see is a great young couple, who are enjoying working together after being apart for 3 months, and who really don’t care what people think of them. I don’t like to overanalyze pictures, because a split second doesn’t tell anything about what’s happening. But to me, it looks like Vanessa was probably hanging out in the trailer, and ran out quickly in her socks maybe to remind Zac of the time, because then they’re headed back in hand-in-hand. Who knows? Maybe they had an afternoon rehearsal to get to…..but it just shows how many scenarios there could be from a picture!

There have been thousands of great films, with great starring actors, who are not linked romantically, and they still make tons of money. Like Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, and hey, even Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo. It is NOT a requirement for leads to date. EVER. If that happens, like it did with Zac and Vanessa, it has nothing to do with their studio. It’s on their own time.

#368 Folks like Wiindle seem to think Disney operates like it was the 1930s when the studios did have actors under contract and did dictate matters of personal conduct. Those days are long gone.
Another thing is if Disney did have Zac and Vanessa under the kind of contract people seem to think they do, Zac probably wouldn’t have been able to go make “17 Again,” or “Me and Orson Welles,” and Vanessa probably could have made “Will.” The studios would occastionally “lend” out their bigger talent and let them go make films for someone else it was a rare occurance. And I don’t think our couple would be at that level yet.
So my point is the studios no longer have the kind of authority that those who cry “Marketing” seem to think they do.
However Wiindel is right about one thing Vanessa is a STAR! Or at least I think she’s going to be a big one. I’m assuming the extra * represents the extra “r” Wiindel accidentally hit in his/her excitement to make the point. :)
I feel really bad for both vanessa and zac-especially zac. after these pictures came out on JJ a lot of other sites had them too and it’s just beyond sad that a seemingly nice person is being bashed so much.
what did he do wrong? he’s been a very nice young man to the media and so is vanessa. people hate on her for the weirdest things (smiling too much, giggling, laughing, and many other things we all do) and i’m feeling really overwhelmed at how hurtful people are being.
it’s been years now that these two have been the target of others’ hate and it’s now just in a sad state. they are trying to make a movie for the publics’ pleasure. i’m sure someone will argue they are doing it for $, but they aren’t doing anything ‘wrong’ and all some can do is sit back and loathe them. it makes no sense to me.

One last comment(I hope) on the bra thing with Vanessa. These days the styles seem to be to show bra straps and parts of your bra. As anyone can see it is a very fancy one and it covers her well…HECK, at least she has that article of clothing ON for that kind of top.

It’s a shame that they have had to close the set off, I suppose they don’t mind a few pap’s after all you can never keep a film set entirley pap free as someone will always find it, but once two many start arriving then it can add tension to the actor’s that I dare say they can do without when trying to work.
So I don’t think that we’ll be seeing photo’s for a while again which is a shame in some ways but it has ben nice seeing the recent one’s and seeing that Zac and Vanessa still seem to be doing okay despite he rumors and are just enjoying being together and with their friends.
I think the filming is supposed to end in June so at least they have two months of being out of the pap’s range as much as possible, which is good for all the cast but mainly Z and V as their the two that the pap’s hound the most. So unless they go out to dates like the game I don’t think we will se much of them until their back in L.A.
I bet Zac’s forgot what his apartment looks like after all this time away.
