Zac Efron is Shirtless! Shirtless! Shirtless!

Zac Efron shows off his washboard abs in a shirtless moment on the set of High School Musical 3 at a top secret location in Utah on Friday.

Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was not far behind showing off some leopard-print undergarment. Zac was also seen wearing a Wildcats (ROAR!) basketball uniform, carrying a Nordstrom shopping bag and a stick (presumably for stick ball).

Per usual, Zanessa was spotted holding hands. Everybody now… Awww!

Also finally spotted on set: Corbin Bleu!

Wiindle, I know you have your opinion, but I have no idea what you base it on. After hundreds of pictures of them that are NOT work-related, out by themselves and trying to hide from the paps, why would you think this is all for marketing?

There have been thousands of great films, with great starring actors, who are not linked romantically, and they still make tons of money. Like Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, and hey, even Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo. It is NOT a requirement for leads to date. EVER. If that happens, like it did with Zac and Vanessa, it has nothing to do with their studio. It’s on their own time.

#368 Folks like Wiindle seem to think Disney operates like it was the 1930s when the studios did have actors under contract and did dictate matters of personal conduct. Those days are long gone.

Another thing is if Disney did have Zac and Vanessa under the kind of contract people seem to think they do, Zac probably wouldn’t have been able to go make “17 Again,” or “Me and Orson Welles,” and Vanessa probably could have made “Will.” The studios would occastionally “lend” out their bigger talent and let them go make films for someone else it was a rare occurance. And I don’t think our couple would be at that level yet.

So my point is the studios no longer have the kind of authority that those who cry “Marketing” seem to think they do.

However Wiindel is right about one thing Vanessa is a STAR! Or at least I think she’s going to be a big one. I’m assuming the extra * represents the extra “r” Wiindel accidentally hit in his/her excitement to make the point.

I feel really bad for both vanessa and zac-especially zac. after these pictures came out on JJ a lot of other sites had them too and it’s just beyond sad that a seemingly nice person is being bashed so much.

what did he do wrong? he’s been a very nice young man to the media and so is vanessa. people hate on her for the weirdest things (smiling too much, giggling, laughing, and many other things we all do) and i’m feeling really overwhelmed at how hurtful people are being.

it’s been years now that these two have been the target of others’ hate and it’s now just in a sad state. they are trying to make a movie for the publics’ pleasure. i’m sure someone will argue they are doing it for $, but they aren’t doing anything ‘wrong’ and all some can do is sit back and loathe them. it makes no sense to me.

in looking at the hand holding photo .. vanessa’s gotta be like 8 inches shorter than zac? am i off on this estimate? no biggee, just wondering.

i wonder if the entire cast is at the same hotel ? just curious how the movie stuios set that up.

zac and vanessa are probably just really psyched to see each other again!

Beverley, I am still on a Zanessa High myself. It was really great of them to make an appearence just for this occasion.

One last comment(I hope) on the bra thing with Vanessa. These days the styles seem to be to show bra straps and parts of your bra. Some bras are kind of different anyway than what some of us “older” ladies think about a bra or the very young girls do. It is like a fashion “assessory”(sp?) now. As anyone can see it is a very fancy one and it covers her well…HECK, at least she has that article of clothing ON for that kind of top.
