Ever heard of second-hand smoke Russell?
Russell Crowe takes his sons Charles and Tennyson for a walk in Beverly Hills but stops to take a few puffs of his cancer stick on Friday in Los Angeles.
Charles is now 4 and Tennyson is 22 months! How quickly time flies!

Smoking is a nasty addiction. I agree with #’s 44 & 48 parents who smoke (whether in their presence or otherwise) are indeed subjecting their children to second hand smoke. The effects of smoking gets into the pores of the skin as well as the clothing of the smoker. I guess the best argument for quitting is that it contributes to any number of diseases that are known to shorten life, thereby robbing their love ones of time spent with them. Give up the cigs Russ. You can do it.
He’s smoking outside, without the kids near. And what crazy photog followed for all those blocks? Can’t they see he’s with the kids?

All his wealth, two great kids, a beautiful wife and then puffing away on cancer sticks and packing on the pounds. You’d think with all that you’d want to be around as long as possible to enjoy it.
His current look is not for a role. He’s been looking like this for years now. Nah, face it folks, this is how Russell Crowe looks like now. He’s entered his fat, bloated Marlon Brando era. Sad, he used to be so hot circa Gladiator.
He has really let himself go. I saw him in Sydney not so long ago and he was barely recognisable (and looked really grumpy). No excuse to smoke around your kids. Not only is it bad for their health, but it teaches them bad habits.
Hey, lay off Brad Pitt. He’s had plenty of fine performances especially in more recent years. He’s had an incredibly wide range of roles as pointed out above in the thread. His personal life of humanitarian work and family life is admirable. He is very much his own man and I admire him for that.
Russell’s had his fair share of clinker roles and performances. He’s not perfect. And as far as he handles the press and paps and those in the industry, Russell could learn a thing or two from Brad. I know that they have known each other for quite a while and I think that Russell would love to have a successful production company like Brad’s Plan B. Russell was practically willing to sell his soul to get a production piece of Shantaram which Plan B is co-producing.
So it really serves no purpose to compare the two. They each have their own strengths. They each capture the screen in their own way.

Russell is one of actors who can creep under the skin of the character, just like Johnny Depp. He doesn’t need to look good to be good.
And JJ, I don’t see him holding cigarette near by his children. And what is wrong with smoking? You can drive smoking, but you can not drive drinking. Why nobody even talks about forbidding drinking Alcohol in restaurants?
Unfortunately the youngest one looks just like his maternal side of the family. Let’s hope he has a great personality when he grows up. He’s the spitting image of his grandfather. The older kid is looking more like Russell’s side.
Man you people can sure split hairs. Smoking even in the general vicinity of your kids is unwise. Environmental smoke lingers on your clothes and body. Come on, Russell, knock it off. Show a little self-discipline
