Zanessa’s Saturday Sing-a-long
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are hard at work on the Utah set of High School Musical 3: Senior Year on Saturday.
Talk about overtime–they’re working weekends!
Ashley Tisdale was also seen on set carrying around her pet pooch, Maui, and a Louis Vuitton dog carrier.
The Kenny Ortega-directed film has a tentative nationwide release date of Friday, October 24.

sara, yeah gossip girl said they closed the set. I can imagine it was getting out of hand. Remember all the shouting and stupid comments the paps made when Vanessa was shooting Will in New York? You can tell from these last photos they knew where the paps were because Zac looks straight at the camera (not too happily ).
this is so crazy. They look so tired. they can’t even keep there eyes open. I feel so bad for them. They need to rest. Ashley is really skinny, because they probably can’t even eat, since these stupid disney president and dumb ass Kenny Ortega is making them work so freaking hard. Can’t they breathe for awhile. I just pray that nothing happens to them while they are filming these crazy hours, and that they don’t go to the hospital. I mean give them a break, yes they are celebrities.

If Zac and Vanessa would break up and he got with some other girl who also was NOT Ashley, you know you would be just as hateful and ridiculous with her so you are silly always hating on Vanessa just because this young man is in love with her instead of who you want him to be in love with. If he would have wanted Ashley, then he certainly knew her before he ever met Vanessa so he could have gone after her at that time. But obviously he didn’t want her in that way. I agree with some of you. There is not Zashley. In fact for some weird crazy reason. Zac and Vanessa split up. (which I don’t believe they would ever do) Ashley wouldn’t go out with Zac. because I mean can you imagine the tension that would go on. Vanessa would not even talk to Ashley, and then Zac would feel weird in the middle of both of them. Just let them live there own lives. Ashley fans lets just be all good friends. Does anyone else find it funny that we didn’t start getting constant stalking of the ”top secret HSM3 location” untill Zac showed up? I mean they had like one or two posts when all the other actors showed up, but since then it has been really mum, and then Zac shows up and BAM! It is ”zanessa sightings” left and right that just happen to be caught on camera. I mean the basketball one I can understand because they went out on a date or what have you and were caught by the jumbotron and TV camera’s because they are famous. (not that I wouldn’t put it past Disney to tip off and pay camera men) But all the other ones just seem way to planned for my taste.
I love both the first two movies and am very excited about the third, and am happy to hear of them working on it. But to shove ”Zanessa” down our throats in a chance to give the movie more hype is a little low, even for Disney standards. And I am also not saying that Zac and Vanessa aren’t dating, they very well could be, but that doesn’t really give Disney the right to market their realtionship for the gain of their movie. The first two did fine without it and I am sure the third will do just as good without it, the story line is what draws people in and I think that Disney would try to bank on that, not having paparazzi hang around a ”top secret location” and get ”candid” shots of them, and only them because there aren’t eight other principle actors or anything…

they look really tried. as for the hand holding the video at the basketball game yes she did get his hand. As for the other pictures whio is to say that he did not take her hand because I have not seen any video on this. I also believe that they are together. If I was as tried as they look I would not smile either. I hope that they get some much needed rest.

Like Disney keeps track of the HSM3 shooting locations and schedule. And to arrange a photo shoot? Hello!!! Anyone who believes that lives in an ivory tower.
Don’t you think they’d the CLOSER instead of taking these grainy far-away pictures? No, Disney has what they consider far more important things to do.
The paps want pics of Zac and Vanessa because they get MONEY for them. Simple as that. A fact of life. Zac and Vanessa may not like it, but it’s true. And they’re going to have to live with that until the Jonas Brothers become more popular. I do hope that is soon.

Must be another Cindy on here, # 65 is not me. Looks like the paps were there again today , but on the Gossip-girls site, it said the paps were asked to leave. I’m sure they don’t want them taking pics to give away things happening in the film. THey do look tired. Here’s hoping they got Sun. off and got to sleep in.

The pictures are taken from far away I’ll give you that BUT if the filming/rehearsal set is as top secret as they claim, how did the paps find it? Nothing a little tip off from the Disney PR folks couldn’t cure. I agree with Magie.
You can’t tell me there are a lot of paparazzi in Utah. It all seems like a set-up. And why you ask, might Disney do this? Simple. The more they market Zanessa the more interest in HSM 3. And more interest in the movie equals more $$$ in Disney’s already-bottomless pockets. They should be totally ashamed of themselves for exploiting the whole cast, but especially Zac and Vanessa and whatever their relationship may be for monetary gain.

Hi Karen and Narf! May I join the cheerleading Zanessa squad? LOL It’s amazing how suddenly we’re getting pics everyday now. BTW, this location would not have been too secret - it’s East High School. Home of the HSM Wildcats and a primary location to film. Since school is still in session, they’re having to rehearse or film on weekends or after hours.

It’s a double edged sword. They are followed because people just like you, me, and everyone else here take the time out of our day to look at these photos. not only do we look, we go so far as to comment.
it would take a large # of us no longer looking so that JJ would see the drop in numbers when he posts about the two, which would then not cause him to purchase the agency photos, and they in turn would realize Zac and Vanessa are no longer a ‘hot commodity’. Not only would this have to happen on this site- it would have to happen for all gossip sites spending time, effort, and money to purchase “candids” of these two.
Until you, or I, or anyone here takes the stance to say ‘enough’ and stop visiting, and stop clicking on the site… it’s not going to ease up for the two. JJ is well aware of the fact that the hits keep coming as soon as he types ‘Vanessa Hudgens’ or ‘Zac Efron’ regardless of the content he chooses to post.

“My sister is working on the HSM3 set today I got to visit her on set. I got to meet Zac, Vanessa and some of the cast members! On break everyone was rooting for Zac and Vanessa to sing a song and they did! Together they sung a song that I’ve never heard of before. It was such a beautiful song, there were teary eyes in the room. I asked my sister after about the song and she said “I think it’s Zac’s song to Vanessa.” Everyone in the room kept on saying they are so cute. Vanessa started turning pink, I think she became all shy. I get that way too. You can see the kindness Zac has for his girlfriend when he reached over and held her hand after she was all pink. Someone yelled kiss! hahaha and they didn’t. Later I overheard Vanessa telling someone that she did a recording on that song but I don’t know if it’s on the cd or she recorded it in the studio just for herself. I have no idea.”

What makes you so certain of your accusations? The timing as you mentioned is irrelevant… With or without them dating, HSM would still be successful because of the content of the movie and the musical numbers in it of themselves. Besides, someone had ingeniously mentioned before that if Disney was marketing.. why choose Vanessa w/Zac instead of one of Disney’s Princess, Ashley Tisdale? That would have been a great boost for them… why Vanessa, when at that time, she was the less famous out of the two? Advice…. think before you post :)

These two were spotted out together at the movies, etc, before HSM2 was ever filmed. There was gossip at that time but they denied being anything but friends and even though people continued to believe they were a couple the paps didn’t particularly bother them. After they filmed HSM2 they went to Hawaii which pretty much opened the flowgates as to their relationship which both of them politely refused to talk about for quite some time. Finally, the admitted to be a couple but still wouldn’t speak about their personal life togeteher. HSM2 hit big and then their was talk about doing a big screen production. BUT there was a lot of doubt about Zac and Vanessa doing that movie as Zac’s career had taken off. So, nobody knew if the movie would happen or if Zac and Vanessa would do it of if their demands would be too much, etc.
So months went by without definite yes or no to the project. Zac and Vanessa were together non-stop even weathering the storm that was caused by that now infamous picture. As time went on they “came out” more and more in public as to their relationship—not speaking about it but the pictures spoke volumns when they were on tour. AND what about the fact Vanessa had gone to Australia with Zac to promote his movie Hairspray?
My point is: these two have been together non-stop since they met each other doing HSM1—a time when not even HSM2 had been conceived. It wasn’t like they said, “Oh, I think this HSM is going to be a really big hit so let’s plan on doing HSM2″. So, they didn’t even know HSM2 would be done much less ever think about doing the big production thing of HSM3.
BUT you are trying to tell everyone that DIsney set these two kids up to “LOOK” like they were a couple so as to sale the next two HSM productions—which wasn’t even conceived yet and wasn’t even known if the first would make splash. Does that make sense to even you? Also, how old are you? I would assume you are older than 16 so when you were the ages of Zac and Vanessa could someone have convinced you to give up your dating and personal life for over 2 years to pretend to be in love with someone? Hormones rage at these ages and both these kids are very attractive and once they it the bigtime then I’m sure they would have had no problems getting dates of having people throw themselves at them. So, that is not even logical to think they would be together just to make Disney happy. It wouldn’t have been financially worth it for Disney to have to keep paying these two to be together all this time—and believe me, if I was “contracted” to do such a thing they would be paying me bigtime.
Anyway, Zac and Vanessa could be together another 2 years after HSM3 comes out before breaking up and you “it’s only for publicity” people would say “I told you it was only for publicity”.

As far as whether or not Vanessa is unhappy or unnot in these pictures, it’s known that she has had back problems *its why she was visiting a physical therapist in threads from September and October* and apparently it flared up while she was filming “Will.” And if you at picture three the one in which Zac is HOLDING THE DOOR for her it looks like she’s moving kind of gingerly and from the position of her arms it looks like she MAY (I can’t be sure of course) have been favoring her back. So if there really is a problem and the sun isn’t just in her eyes that may very well be it.

How do you know that before they got out of the van that they was not holding hands and that Zac cold have taken Vanessa’s hand first? To be Zac folding his arms does not mean that he does’nt want to hold her hand and he is not back away to me if he really did’nt want to be close enough so that any hand holding could take place then he could have easily gone straight into the building and let Vanessa go in by herself, instead he’s obvioulsy waiting for her to come out the van so that they can go in together.
The second picture e had of them holding hands they were walking away from the camera so unless they have eyes in the back of their heads they would’nt know that at that point the cameras were on them, but again we don’t know who took who’s hand first it could well have been Zac.
Such a big thing is made out of Vanessa taking Zac’s hand first and it’s beyond me why, even my daughter when she looked at the video of them at the game said ‘what is the fuss they’re holding hands so what, and what rule says that the girl can’t hold her boyfriends hand first’ and she’s right when Zac does it it’s seen as cute and a loving gesture becuase men don’t show PDA very often but when Vanessa does it oh no it’s just for the cameras.
And people wonder why they don’t do more than ocassionaly hold hands in public the comments that would occur would be out of this world.

Excatly if either Zac or Vanessa wanted to be with other people then why waste 3 years just doing something for publicity what a waste, and if Zac wanted to get with Ashley after all the time they have known each other then I’m sure that it would have come up at some poit in their friendship. You can clearly see that yes they are good friends but no more. At the end of the day it’s Zac and Vanessa choice to be together and it’s not down to us or anybody else to say who would be better for Zac, he’s made his choice just like Vanessa has and they’re happy enough, not beaming 24/7 but who in the real world does.
Both myself and my daughter suport Zanessa and like you Karen are proud of it.

All this discussion about Vanessa taking Zac’s hand is amazing…All that matters is that they are very attentive to and aware of each other’s feeling. Someone mentioned how they are in step as they are walking away holding hands and how that shows they are in tune to each other. If you look at pictures of Zac and Vanessa over the years, they are almost always in step. It is like there is a natural rhythm between them. That is why it seems that this couple shares a bond that many of us may never find. This doesn’t mean they are destined for each other forever, but they are sharing the experience of an intimate connection that they are lucky to have at this time in their life.
One other observation. Over the years when the two of them are being filmed, I have noticed that Vanessa often is the eyes and ears for the couple. Remember when they left from the restaurant after Zac’s birthday dinner; Vanessa was the one who pointed out where the car was while Zac was blinded by the lights. Another time, they were walking under the glare of the paparazzi lights at night and Vanessa was the one who pointed out the gate to go to the car. I think she is just more attuned to the paps (no wonder since they are always following her) so naturally she saw the camera filming them at the game. And then she shares the info with Zac so that he is aware that they are on camera too. Just another way that they complement each other.
He’s looking over at the paps and probally saying something like “they’re really out today” Which is why no smile from Vanessa, no hand holding no nothing to encourage photos. If they were fake it would have been the complete opposite (smiling, posing kissing like Heidi and Spencer) Get real people no one fakes anything for three years.

Ofcourse she’s not like what she used to be she like Zac have grown a lot since HSM started and the impact that it has had on their every day rountine and being followed everywhere and photograped just doing the simpliest of things getting gas, getting juice.
But she is not arrogant and has never struck me as that she like Zac is learning to deal with the press as it’s a fact of life that the press are’nt going to go away anytime soon and that’s becuase of the impact HSM has had on their lives, I’m sure that they are grateful for a lot of things that HSM has brought but I also think and Iknow that if it was me I’d also love to get a break from the press every so often and be left alone to go about my daily routine, but they know that’s not gonna happen so all they are trying to do and I have to say have done a great job for three years ishave a relactionship in private as much as they can and just learned to tolerate the press when they are trying to do things thatcouple’s do.
When it’s work related that’s different like red carpet events and promotions they know that the press will be there and yes that kind of press is part of the job they have chosen to do, but once that job is done anything else the press should lay of.

Let’s not drag another celebrity couple down (Heidi and Spencer) just to make Zac and Vanessa look better. I’m not a big fan of Heidi’s either, but who’s to say she and Spencer are “fake” just because they enjoy fame and they seem to really like being photographed? Maybe they got what they wanted (publicity) and are more than satisfied with themselves?
