OlderBritney’s Returning to HIMYM for May Sweeps
It’s official! Britney Spears will be returning to the CBS comedy, How I Met Your Mother, for an episode scheduled to air May 12.
“We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again,” executive producer and co-creator Craig Thomas says. “And just to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney’s very nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you.”
Brit Brit will be reprising her role as Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office. Production on the episode begins today!!!

Here’s the synopsis of the episode, “Everything Must Go”: “Barney and Abby realize that they have one thing in common, their mutual hatred of Ted. The new ‘couple’ decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted’s face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby. “

Not a Brit fan musically, but I think she does have some natural comedic talent were acting is concerned and since she seems to be standing on steadier ground, maybe this is leading her to a new career in front of the camera. I sincerely wish her the best.

Also never been a fan of hers, but she has the type of personality that can do whatever she’s determined to do. I think she already received major payback for acting recklessly, so now I hope she is able to salvage some kind of career besides just music. Britney and JT have both been great on SNL. They both have a lot of talent.

Whoever cast Britney in that role is either handicapped or on drugs. Why would he cast Britney Spears in this role? She cannot act, she has no talent and is the equivilent of a carcinogen. I hope she gets sacked from the role, and also has her character killed off the show

I’m glad to see Britney doing better because when I was 7 I used to look up to her. And now she can become a role model again.
I love seeing her— I’ve started watching the show just because she is on it.
