The Vanity Fair photo spread of Miley Cyrus has been released! As always, here are some of the interview highlights:
On Sex and the City: “It’s my favorite show! I love it! Obviously not the scenarios. But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
On the infamous semi-topless shot: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”
On whose career trajectory she’d like to follow: “Before, I’d say like Hilary Duff. But there can’t be a thousand Hilary Duffs. Then that doesn’t make Hilary special. And there can’t be a thousand Miley Cyruses, or that doesn’t make me special. That’s what a star is: they’re different. A celebrity is different. So, no, mostly I want to make my own path.”
On being well-adjusted to the fame and public attention: “That’s just my personality. I don’t get shaken or stirred up over anything. Which can be a problem sometimes. I’m just, like, so no emotions. I just don’t let things faze me. I’m very much like my dad. My dad’s like this.”
On being pals with paparazzi camped out of her gated home. “Sometimes there’ll be like 40. Sometimes 20, sometimes 30. Sometimes two. I’ll stop and I’ll do the picture. It’s really funny. They’ll buy our dinner and whatever. We’ve become friends.”

Here I’ll say this. Her ONLY respectable work was Hannah Montanah (JUST the TV Show). She is probably the worst role model any teenager or kid could have. She thinks she can just neutralize a series of wrongdoings by apologizing. Yes she’s human but she’s also a celebrity. She makes big money. She has a lot of responsibility to make sure kids don’t do something stupid to screw their lives over just because she did.

A little bit of a strange photoshoot. I wouldn’t pose with my dad like that but….It’s not necessarily inappropriate just a little wierd. The bedsheet picture looks worse then it actually is. The actual shots of the “photo shoot” we casual…and the posses during it were cute…but the ones focused on and that are being spoken of, are a little scandalous but give it her like this…she was in a “professional” shoot…with her father…and all she was trying to do was 1. be a little adventureous and artsy 2. Trying to feel sexy and grown up and 3 . Just taking photos…Its really NO BIG DEAL…I know she’s only 15 and i mean the big focus should be the way she kept on (practically) falling out of her dress and off her heels at the awards show preformance with her father…that was a little MUCH…Because she IS ONLY 15…

I’m a photographer and I love almost all forms of art and I’m not closed minded at all…the body is a form of art and it’s beautiful to depict in photos…but there has to be limits and standards and personally I myself would never in a million years photograph a 15 year old girl in this light and in these suggestive poses. I think that type of modeling needs to be reserved for over 18’s. No this type of art is not trashy and no it’s not ******. The photographs aren’t ugly but in my own opinion they’re too provacative for a 15 year old.

In a day when too many children avoid any meaningful contact with their parents and try to get away and stay away from them, I found the pic refreshing. Obviously, this father and daughter have an honet, genuine closeness that says,” I support and accept you, and you support and accept me.” Volumes of their pics in the past reflect it as well. Why do so many people jump to assume that any physical contact has its roots in something not quite right? It’s me again…the nudist…the one that was defending Vanessa Hudgens about her nude photo. Well, it seems I gotta defend Miley now. First of all, Miley’s photos are not bad. Heck, Vanessa was more natural and Miley’s not even nude. Now…obviously this debate will never end. There will be those that defend her and those that bash her. But, let me explain nudism in greater detail. Nudists are not exhibitionists. They do have sex…behind closed doors! Nudity and sex are two very different things. Sex is done behind closed doors, but nudity is natural and should be free for everyone. In fact, kids that are raised by nudists grow up and have healthy relationships along with respect for themselves and others. Try finding that here in this country that frowns upon natural nudity! Nudist kids don’t have the desire to play doctor with members of the opposite sex. Boys don’t look up girls’ dresses and skirts in a nudist environment, aside from the fact that they are nude and see the differences with each other. Nude is not lewd in a nudist environment. Any of that here in this “textile” environment? Hardly likely. And, kids are nudists from the moment they are born until the moment when prude mommy and daddy teach them that it’s wrong to be nude around others. ‘Nuff said?

Hey, yall people shouldn’t be automatically accusing her of these vanity pics. She could have been photoshopped by somebody, or a group of people. If she did do these pics, then if you think they are wrong i say go ahead, but you dont know if they are real or not i mean did you take them, i think no.
