OlderMiley Cyrus’ Vanity Fair Pictures Arrive
The Vanity Fair photo spread of Miley Cyrus has been released! As always, here are some of the interview highlights:
On Sex and the City: “It’s my favorite show! I love it! Obviously not the scenarios. But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
On the infamous semi-topless shot: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”
On whose career trajectory she’d like to follow: “Before, I’d say like Hilary Duff. But there can’t be a thousand Hilary Duffs. Then that doesn’t make Hilary special. And there can’t be a thousand Miley Cyruses, or that doesn’t make me special. That’s what a star is: they’re different. A celebrity is different. So, no, mostly I want to make my own path.”
On being well-adjusted to the fame and public attention: “That’s just my personality. I don’t get shaken or stirred up over anything. Which can be a problem sometimes. I’m just, like, so no emotions. I just don’t let things faze me. I’m very much like my dad. My dad’s like this.”
On being pals with paparazzi camped out of her gated home. “Sometimes there’ll be like 40. Sometimes 20, sometimes 30. Sometimes two. I’ll stop and I’ll do the picture. It’s really funny. They’ll buy our dinner and whatever. We’ve become friends.”

what father would pose w/ their daughter w/ her midrift showing & worse, pose w/ her where other pictures in the spread show her naked w/ a sheet covering her?sick, sick, sick… how can she say she was manipulated when her dad was obviously there.if you do it own.say you made a poor decision but don’t blame others.she also looks hideous.she tries way to hard to be sexy.her stare & pouty lip she always gives his so forced.i don’t know whether to laugh or feel sorry for her.she grosses me out.what 15 year old acts that way?

Leaked racy photos the first time…could have been a mistake. But three times leaked followed by a racy “official” magazine cover shoot?!!! This girl never learns…..The apology with washing of the hands and blaming the photographer trick is a cheap ploy to gain sympathy and obviously insincere.
i think miley made a mistake here and needs to own up for what she has done wrong.

Clearly based on this interview you can tell she loves the attention! .. Who actually becomes friends withe paparazzis? Last time i checked celebs wanted their lives to be private.. instead she embraces it because she just loves all the attlention .. it’s sickening to see how wrapped up she is in herself ..
Stop blaming the photographer .. she’s a world renowned famous photographer .. She has an edgy vision .. so what.. Miley could’ve said no as well as her parents ..

Can Billy Ray get a life already? He’s starting to remind me of another baddad, -Joe Simpson! Talk about leaching off your kid. Is that particular photograph a little too racy for Miley? Sure. But once you look at all the photos from the Vanity Fair website, their not as bad as what people are making them out to be. Miley realized her mistake and will come out of this fine. By the way #8, is your life really that pathetic that you have to use a term like that for a 15 year old?
