OlderMiley Cyrus’ Vanity Fair Pictures Arrive
The Vanity Fair photo spread of Miley Cyrus has been released! As always, here are some of the interview highlights:
On Sex and the City: “It’s my favorite show! I love it! Obviously not the scenarios. But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
On the infamous semi-topless shot: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”
On whose career trajectory she’d like to follow: “Before, I’d say like Hilary Duff. But there can’t be a thousand Hilary Duffs. Then that doesn’t make Hilary special. And there can’t be a thousand Miley Cyruses, or that doesn’t make me special. That’s what a star is: they’re different. A celebrity is different. So, no, mostly I want to make my own path.”
On being well-adjusted to the fame and public attention: “That’s just my personality. I don’t get shaken or stirred up over anything. Which can be a problem sometimes. I’m just, like, so no emotions. I just don’t let things faze me. I’m very much like my dad. My dad’s like this.”
On being pals with paparazzi camped out of her gated home. “Sometimes there’ll be like 40. Sometimes 20, sometimes 30. Sometimes two. I’ll stop and I’ll do the picture. It’s really funny. They’ll buy our dinner and whatever. We’ve become friends.”

Hey, yall people shouldn’t be automatically accusing her of these vanity pics. She could have been photoshopped by somebody, or a group of people. If she did do these pics, then if you think they are wrong i say go ahead, but you dont know if they are real or not i mean did you take them, i think no. I am not saying she is a *****, *****, ****, hoe, or any of those things. I simply think that she is making her own desicions. And who gave ya the right to tell her what she can and cannot do. Well I’m thinking NOBODY did!!! The only people that tell her what she can and cannot do are her parents. And ya know what, maybe she did think that some of them looked artsy. I would know because I am an artist, just not a professional one, but I know enough to tell if they are porno pics or artsy pics. Trust me there is a difference. Well one thing I got to say is Miley if you are doing these things, it doesn’t make you a bad person but it is not of God to go and show your body to everyone i the world. I am not saying you are doing these things, I mean nobody knows this except for you, your parents, and God. These pics could be photoshopped, lookalikes, or real. Well what I am really trying to get to is that IF( I said if. not you are) you are doing these things, I just want you to think about them really hard. Oh and lets not forget all of your fans. You have a bunch of young women and little girls that look up to you. Just think of what kind of role model your setting for them if you are doing these things. It is not a good one. Being famous isn’t about fame or fourtune, to me being famous is being just a person showing their talents whether its singing, dancing, acting, or playing an instrument. I don’t believe you are doing these things because alot of people can easily photoshop or make a lookalike photo of you doing these things. If you are though, please i ask you to think about what kind of role model you are setting for young children who look up to you, and what kind of reputation you would have. I also think that it is normal for stars to pose nude for cameras cause most hollywood stars choose to start out as pornstars. I think you are better than that.
