OlderMiley Cyrus’ Vanity Fair Pictures Arrive
The Vanity Fair photo spread of Miley Cyrus has been released! As always, here are some of the interview highlights:
On Sex and the City: “It’s my favorite show! I love it! Obviously not the scenarios. But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
On the infamous semi-topless shot: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”
On whose career trajectory she’d like to follow: “Before, I’d say like Hilary Duff. But there can’t be a thousand Hilary Duffs. Then that doesn’t make Hilary special. And there can’t be a thousand Miley Cyruses, or that doesn’t make me special. That’s what a star is: they’re different. A celebrity is different. So, no, mostly I want to make my own path.”
On being well-adjusted to the fame and public attention: “That’s just my personality. I don’t get shaken or stirred up over anything. Which can be a problem sometimes. I’m just, like, so no emotions. I just don’t let things faze me. I’m very much like my dad. My dad’s like this.”
On being pals with paparazzi camped out of her gated home. “Sometimes there’ll be like 40. Sometimes 20, sometimes 30. Sometimes two. I’ll stop and I’ll do the picture. It’s really funny. They’ll buy our dinner and whatever. We’ve become friends.”

What the hell is right? Miley was a good girl in Hannah Montana. She is only 15 and this is what she is doing! ******!
miley seems like a sweet girl but she shouldn’t be taking those pictures!!! she is way to young!!! she says that shes not going to act like paris and others but she still takes these pictures. what kind of role model is that! A girl taking naked pictures is not the kind of role model i want to look up to! also, who takes those kind of pictures with their dad!!! uhh not me!!!!!

OK. Look and listen here. She is ONLY 15!! she made this decision for herself and and she stated it above. Although she was offered a part for playboy, she denied it but then again she is posing almost bare chested with just a blanket hiding over her and i think that is a little ******..well alot and she says that hilary duff is her hero when um i think the first time she did something like this was when she was over 18 and she is about 22 now and she doesnt regret it..my point here is that she needs to grow up and take her life and put it on the dl..she needs to act her age and stop trying to be like hilary duff..although she is far from it!! i used to like miley until she started acting different because of the press..
So i’m guessing the whole idea behind the photo was for her to look sexy…but am I the only one that thinks she looks kinda ill? I think she could have taken “artsy” photos without being half-naked and clutching a sheet as if she’s about the throw up or something. I mean, she looks pretty in the pic with her dad.
