OlderMiley Cyrus’ Vanity Fair Pictures Arrive
The Vanity Fair photo spread of Miley Cyrus has been released! As always, here are some of the interview highlights:
On Sex and the City: “It’s my favorite show! I love it! Obviously not the scenarios. But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”
On the infamous semi-topless shot: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”
On whose career trajectory she’d like to follow: “Before, I’d say like Hilary Duff. But there can’t be a thousand Hilary Duffs. Then that doesn’t make Hilary special. And there can’t be a thousand Miley Cyruses, or that doesn’t make me special. That’s what a star is: they’re different. A celebrity is different. So, no, mostly I want to make my own path.”
On being well-adjusted to the fame and public attention: “That’s just my personality. I don’t get shaken or stirred up over anything. Which can be a problem sometimes. I’m just, like, so no emotions. I just don’t let things faze me. I’m very much like my dad. My dad’s like this.”
On being pals with paparazzi camped out of her gated home. “Sometimes there’ll be like 40. Sometimes 20, sometimes 30. Sometimes two. I’ll stop and I’ll do the picture. It’s really funny. They’ll buy our dinner and whatever. We’ve become friends.”

well first of all hannah montana is pretty, attractive as teen idol and handsome but its the camera tells the fake story and im so sad for her because she too has dirt left behind. common can is der any teen idol there that has dignity, respectfull, morally good and original both on the screen and personal life. i think im starting to doubt the good morals sense of other teen stars well i can’t blame producers and other showbiz poeple to select only beautiful and cute faces outder without consulting their private life its all about money but in return its a false, a fake good example for the teens who needs to grow up morally right, educated, god fearing, and respecfull.
i don’t want to say this but i can think that her dad does something sexual to her. and for the law it is criminal and for a penalty of lifetime prison or death. i think most american states has a bad problems of pre marital sex because of bad influence done by *** videos, bad parents, bad legalized business like porn business, and lack of faith to god. if this will continue there will be no rules of the future and its a chaotic living of savage mankind oh myyy. forgive our sins.

that interview was weird she seems like she has no idea what she is really talking about? and her father obviously needs to get his priorities straight, YOUR KIDS NEEDS COME BEFORE YOURS SIR! thats disgusting that youre using your 15 year old daughter and her “fame” so you can get something out of it. wow! that picture of the two of them together just seemed gross and weird too.
i feel horrible for her!! and i feel horrible for the people who think she is a good role model. personally, i wouldnt want my daughter growing up thinking its okay if her stomach is hanging out, and its okay to feel no emotion. OK. I think the poses with her dad were really ****** and I don’t think that was completely her fault because she didn’t choose those poses but she could’ve said that she didn’t want to lay down in her dad’s crotch. Her face was also giving the camera an extreamly ****** look.
As for the pics with a sheet, those are completely her fault because she totally had the option to say no and she didn’t. Even if the photographer and producers tried to convince her that’s still her fault because she fell for it. She is at blame here.

Wow, you people seriously need to get a life. It’s a picture. I don’t agree with her as to say that it’s artsy or pretty, but I don’t think it’s some terrible ‘oh my god’ shot either. just really, why dont some of you with 15 year old daughters open up their files on their laptops and phones and see what pictures they have? I think the Miley picture will seem like a joke to you.
Wow, sonce when did society become so prude? It’s her back for christ’s sake! Since when was a back a private part of a body. A few years back, Emma Roberts did a photoshoot in a bra, and I saw the picture for myself, and she didn’t get barked at. My goodness, let the child live her life, it doesn’t mean that she’s going to rehab, and it doesn’t mean that she’s going to be a ****, it just means that she’s getting out there, and being a celebrity. And as for those ‘provocative lesbian’ pictures she took of herself and a friend, I saw them, ok, they’re normal teenaged girls doing normal teenaged girl things. You think that’s bad, hey parents, go check your teenaged daughter’s myspace pictures, I bet some of you would get a glimpse of what real dirty pictures are.
