‘Made of Honor’ looks great. I really want to see it.
I love Patrick Dempsey’s hair!
reviews ain’t mixed this movie is **** everyone knows it
I’m looking forward to seeing the movie. Not every movie is or needs to be a serious Oscar contender to be enjoyable. Personally, I don’t care what the reviews say, I will go see it. Romcoms generally have mixed reviews and I don’t expect this one to be any different. I like both actors and from the trailers it looks like it will be entertaining.
Patrick and Michelle look great in the pictures. I love PD. Not only his looks but from all interviews, he just comes across as a great guy all around. I think MM and he will be great together, she’s always enjoyable to watch as well.
#23 - I disagree that Patrick was used to try to sell Freedom Writers as he was barely in the promos. Hillary Swank was featured in all of them. Hillary and her being an Oscar winner is what was used to sell FW.
I love Patrick! Can’t wait to see this movie.
Tara or possibly #23 with a name, love to have links to some of these **** reviews by critics. I would gladly post some links from papers with positive reviews. The reviews will be mixed, its a rom.com.
Patrick Dempesey is so overrated. This movie is going to BOMB at the box-office.
Everyone know’s Enchanted was AA’s movie, but audiences here and abroad really loved that “sore thumb”
Anyone can find a good review(3-5 in fact), but you simply can do a google search both in news and blogs to read the bad ones. Overall, this movie’s appeal isn’t mixed at all. It’s horrible. They label Patrick’s acting as “overrated”, “medicore”. He can’t even save the film. When the only thing you hear talked about is the juggling scene, then you know this rom-com is the most sucky of rom-coms.
He’s hoping as well as the Dempsey fans are hoping this movie does well. His fans sure didn’t help his Freedom Writers, and ironically that had less promotion. Plus I did see a lot more McDreamy promotion than Swank promotion in that one. This one is all on Dempsey, and he knows it. The promotion is high, so if it bombs he looks like a loser. That’s why he’s on pins and needles. Whereas you have Iron Man who is getting hailed for acting, writing, and overall great movie.
Admitting you can find good reviews with a google news search (and I did) kinda contradicts your “it’s not even having mixed reviews”. I’ts another rom.com that will make it at the global box office.
PD had a small role and little part in the FW promotion. Pre release it was hard to catch a glimpse of him in a trailer or poster. His picture did however suddenly appear with her on the DVD cover. This was always the movie of HS the Oscar winning star.
No one including PD expected this to compete with IM, predicted to be the summer blockbuster. We all know it will be 1st this wknd, so that comparison is ludicrous.
Hey get real, it’s a PS I Love You not Spiderman. Of course IM will dominate. 27 D was a box office smash despite many bad reviews for KH and the script.
He’s so funny!
