Mary-Kate Olsen’s Tribeca Tease
Mary-Kate Olsen keeps it simple in an all-black number and stops by the Chanel Dinner held at Ago at the Greenwich Hotel during the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival on Monday in New York City.
The grown up Full House star, 21, has received her fair share of attention at the Film Festival due to her infamous scene with Ben Kingsley. When asked about the scene, Ben told the audience during a Q&A session that he let her take the lead when they filmed it! He also mentioned that Mary-Kate is a great role model for her generation.

Wow, I realise this is an old post, but all your comments made me have to say SOMETHING!
First of all, I bet MK’s make-up looked better in person - have you ever taken a photo with a flash? It emphasises all the dark parts and highlights the light, which will be why there is such a difference in her eye/lip make-up.
Secondly, she does not do drugs. At least, she has never been hospitalised for it, and there is no evidence that she does.
Her hospitalisation in 2004 was for an eating disorder.
You can’t seriously blame MK for Heath Ledger’s death, Anon! I am one of his fans you mentioned, but I can’t possibly blame her. I’ve been in a similar situation to him, where you can’t sleep and something affects you that bad (for him, his movie role), and you think you’re doing the right thing by taking the pills from the doctor, but it all goes terribly wrong.
Regardless of what happened, it was not MK’s fault. And have you ever heard of grieving? You said she had a `so what’ attitude. When my grandfather passed away, I pretended life was okay to everyone around. I only ever crumbled and fell apart when I was by myself. Why should MK make her most private moments open to the paparazzi? And the partying, it’s a common thing people use to try and forget about bad stuff.
Regardless of all this, leave the poor girl alone.
She didn’t ASK to have her parents put her and Ashley into the TV industry before they could even talk!
And she’s handled a lot more in her life than I can even imagine.
A role model? You betcha! =)
