Amanda Peet Gets Lucky (June 2008)

Here’s your sneak peek of Amanda Peet on the June 2008 cover of Lucky Magazine, hitting newsstands on May 6th!

Peet, who plays an FBI agent in the new X-Files movie, needed less than half an hour in hair and makeup, and then announced she’d be happy to wear anything, as long as there was a belt involved. “An outfit is so much cleaner when you can see your waist,” she explained.

“I’m not big into experimenting,” says the 36-year-old actress added. “Preppy works for me, and I stick with it.” And it’s true: She has a talent for combining classic, clean-cut items in a way that always looks great.

Finally, a great actress in The X-files. I can´t stand Gillian ***** Anderson. And to GA´s fans: shut up! Shame on you!

Can’t wait for the x-files film. I think Amanda Peet is a lovely actress-it will be interesting to see her in the role of an FBI agent-i’ve only seen her in A Thing Called Love so i imagine they are pretty different roles!

In contradiction to Carmines post…i actually also really like Gillian Anderson as an actress too! Why will AP be hated by Gillian fans?? I don’t think there are many teenagers about who know who gillian anderson is to be honest and that’s a shame-hopefully the new film will change that

I read the interview with her in the June issue of Lucky Magazine. She mentioned her favorite pair of ankle boots and there was a photo of them. Does anyone know the brand name and style of those particular boots? I would love to get a pair. Thanks in advance.
