Jessica Simpson: Tony Romo Made Me Who I Am

Jessica Simpson gushes about boyfriend Tony Romo in the new issue of Glamour, on newsstands next Tuesday.

“This article could come out and Tony and I could be broken up, but he still deserves all the accolades for bringing me back to who I am,” Simpson said.

Jessica, 27, also talks about how worried she was when she met Tony, admitting she “wanted to puke in a cup holder” because she was so nervous.

And here’s a fun bit of Jessica addressing her acting: “It’s fun to do a small film that might be released to DVD not because it’s a horrible film, but because it’s an independent film. For people to say Employee of the Month was a flop is ludicrous. We made the money back–that’s not a flop. For people to say The Dukes of Hazzard was a flop–it opened to $30 million! If these movies are flops, why would I still make them?”

She seems to be defined by relationships she has with men. What a pathetic woman. From lousy relationships to lousy music, movies and looking like a botoxed tranny she is one of the most annoying celebrities ever. She needs to disappear soon.

All her films were critically panned, and any actor worth their salt would prefer critical acclaim over commercial success. Blonde Ambition was a commercial and critical flop, her other movies made some profit but never went over the $100m mark.

Wow, she really is an airhead. Her movies are flops! Breaking even, which I doubt they did, isn’t considered a success, earning a profit is. Plus, they aren’t artisitic in any way, so she doesn’t even have cred.

I went to Glamour.com and read the article. Jessica says that Tony loves her for her, and brought her back to herself. I don’t think she knows who she is. She also states that “you change with the guys you date.” HUH? I still maintain she is a lost person looking to figure out who she is and where she belongs. I mean when she was with John Mayer, she dyed her hair, and as she mentions in the article, tried to be more intellectual and artsy. Now shes with Tony and is learning about sports. We all know she hated sports when she was with Nick. I just think she has no substance, and is shallow, and morphs into who the guy shes with wants her to be. I am totally sick of her! Please get married and disappear!!!!

tas, you are totally right! This girl has no clue who the hell she is and she morphs into her current bf’s “ideal woman”. I also love the fact that she thinks its so great Romo tried to kiss her within ten minutes of their first date. If a guy really likes you and wants to be with you, he’s scared to kiss you even at the end of a first date. I really hope Romo wakes up and dumps this loser and finds a nice girl who knows who she is and doesnt depend on the guy to tell her

I agree. She is clueless. Since when do you change for every guy you date? That is ridiculous and her mom telling her “Baby, you’re back”. WTF???? She never was that great of a singer. If you want to hear awful go to YT and search her singing “Angels” it is the worst think I have ever heard.

She needs to be single and find herself without a man.

All the negative posters should read the actual article in Glamour. It’s pretty good. She seems to answer the questions from her heart, and saying that she loves Dolly Parton is very telling about where Jessica is coming from. Like ‘em or not, both Dolly and Jessica appear to be honest and open celebrities. No Oscar aspirations, no diva theatrics, they are who they are-no excuses. JS is only 26 and has already shown more stability, as well as more earning and staying power than her contemporaries. Jessica’s exes have nothing but good things to say about her, so that should give us a clue that the tabloids are way too harsh, and most times off base with their stories.

It’s a shame to slam a celebrity who takes her own time and money to support our military, while applauding those who won’t even give birth to their children in the country that gives them the most freedom and support.

I don’t know about her dad or plastic surgery, but she is a singer/reality show star/actress/celebrity who is not afraid of showing her human side, and who appeals to many people. Maybe not your cup of tea, but nothing to hate over either. If you’re not a fan, her interview will probably not win you over, but for today, I’m pulling for the underdog who seems to be just a “kind soul.” (John Mayer quote)

Oh ya, she says that she and Tony were texting at the CMAs last year. Wasn’t he with Carrie Underwood? Ugh why the hell would you choose a no talent, clueless bimbo over beautiful and talented carrie? I think Carrie should hook up with Ben roethlisberger. Doesn’t he make more money than Romo?
