#49: not to mention the fact that the list didn’t even include Madonna!

They’re first in their category so that’s alright with me.

I like the photo they chose for Brad and Angie. The Black red and White looks so classy. Ohhh I can’t wait for the next Cannes event!

How old are you, vivi? I’m guessing around 13 or so.

The Dalai Lama has inspired hundreds of millions of people throughout his lifetime. Who did you think should be # 1 on this list, Miley Cyrus?

tita, are you still around? saw your shout out at the older thread just awhile ago, “real life” got in the way earlier.

isn’t this another great news (although i’m not a bit surprised of their inclusion). and we still have a lot to look forward to - changeling & kfp @ cannes, kfp & wanted showing in june, baby #5 june/july, tccobb, etc, etc.

How is being #21 topping the list of the entertainment section Jared? Being #1 would be topping the list. Being #21 is called coming 21st. Of course they should be lower. They are influential to whom? Wannabe actors?

Why do we have to explain things to haters all the time.

Jared wrote topping the list of the ENTERTAINMENT SECTION. B&A are number 21 in the overall 100 list

How in the hell did Robert Downey Jr. make the list? Did I miss something important he did in the last year? He made Iron Man…and puts on blackface for a Ben Stiller movie. And for that he’s considered “influential? Normally I don’t have anything against RDJ…but his inclusion on this list just smacks of some studio honcho BUYING PR from Time Warner.

#55: hi, NL. I go back and forth so sometimes my response is delayed…sorry. How are you? Yep, real life can get in the way of our cyberlife here. Got a lot of things going on too but every spare minutes go to the JPs whenever possible especially when they’ve got things going on too.

Wooh, can’t wait till they appear at Cannes…not just on the RC but in day to day sightings. Bet the kids will be there for KFP.

#58: you know they bought a spot for him, PT. They’re really pimping that movie to death even if it’s been said to be that good enough to be BO hit as is. I’ve never seen fishsticks get paraded out so much!

Brad and Angie should be ahead of all those politicians. Those politicians do not give 1/3 of their income to the ones in need. They only shake hands during election campaign. After the election, you’ll never see them as friendly and as “influencing” at all.

Forgot to mention, Pittwatch.com has a picture of Angie and Maddox taken from a long lens at the French Riviera.

#57: cause haters in their hate lose all sense of logic when it comes to the JPs, that’s why! It’s a wonder they still remember to fill their lungs with oxygen when they rant and rave.

It’s also why they commit so many typos when they punch the keys. They can’t see thru the red haze in their eyes. Either that or the keys stick to their fingers cause they drool too much on the keyboard.

wow our Aussie prime minister is on the list, at number 10. Thats quite cool.

#61: Those on first are world leaders. They should really be there and foremost. It’s not the money but the power and the influence of their sheer personality that determine their positions.

tita, it will be really wonderful if the kids can come on the kfp premiere, imagine how the reaction would be on the rc. was it also in cannes when angie brought maddox along for the shark tales premiere?

I want the kids to go to KFP as well, but maybe that’s a bit selfish. I wonder where AJ and BP stand on this issue? Isn’t there too much attention on their family as it is?

Can you imagine 4 little kids running around at the premier. We all know Angie is brave enough, but is Brad? Hmmm… have to wait and see.

I never said, I hate Brangelina. I don’t hate them. When did I say that? I said I think they should be lower in the list and I don’t find them influential. That doesn’t equal hate.

I have now read the article and I see that they topped the Entertainment section, but came #21 overall. But if you understand grammar, you may also understand that “Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie top the list of people within Entertainment at No. 21!” implies that they came #21 in the entertainment section when it says “entertainment at No. 21″. Jared has made the grammatical error not me and you don’t seem to understand that.

Sorry about the double post. The page never loaded and when I clicked it again, it posted twice.

#67: yeah, but you have to remember, she was still a single mom and she brought him everywhere then. It would be nice if she brought all her kids along, wouldn’t it? Even if it’s only on the red carpet…maybe she’ll bring them out for ice cream?

I believe that this list just shows the people who influence in general… the people who influence the mass. It’s a fact that this 15-year old influences thousands or even millions of young children and even some adults, by simply existing and acting like she is so much older. The same with Jolie-Pitt. They influence us because they want to.. they come public about everything they do and then we congratulate them and treat them as god. The politician’s as well… they have done nothing yet except from pre-election’s campaigns and a lot of talking. They all are an influence… so, to me, this list is realistic but the people in it are not necessarily to be congratulated.
the only positive thing is that the personalities included are really influential, not like the most beautiful-list where objectively ugly people figure among the top lists!

the real tita @ 05/02/2008 at 3:25 am

#71: What Jared was saying was that out of the entertainment people, they came out #1. Their category is quite different from the entertainment section. Yes, they are in entertainment but they are in the heroes and leader category. If you will look, it is not all entertainers in their group. Now do you understand?
