Miley Cyrus is Grounded

Amidst the recent scandal surrounding Miley Cyrus‘ Vanity Fair photos, the Disney star has been pulled from her first scheduled public appearance.

Miley Ray Cyrus, 15, was supposed to appear at a media party/red carpet event on Friday in Orlando along with other Disney stars. The Disney Channel Games, a charity competition, plan to go ahead without the Hannah Montana star.

Disney had no further comment without regard to Miley’s withdrawal.

to everyone who keeps saying ‘Oh its just her back’ it has nothing to do with that. basically u guys are saying that its ok for children to pose topless as long as your junks covered.. thats the point were trying to prove…its wrong. she has a fanbase of 5 year olds, who clearly dont know right from wrong. and when they see this, what are they supposed to think? thats why every mother in the state are peeved off!
aside from that, miley is under a contract of Disney. and there are rules to obey, and she evidentaly disobeyed one. I dont care, if it was a dead animal covering her chest, she was stills too young

that’s really messed up, i thought Disney was backing her up, now they just do a 180. totally messed up. I really wanted to see her perform in the games and on stage.
way to go disney…that was a truly smart move on your part.

I’m so annoyed by this girl .. But i just have one question for the MIley fans..

Why is it that every time a photo is brought up about Miley all her little Disney brainwashed fans have to bring up Vanessa .. I mean it’s like the only thing that they can think of .. comparing her and Vanessa cuz V had worse pics .. Is that really the best you guys got ?

&& Why is it that just because you happen to not be a fan of someone means that you’re jealous?? That’s really is the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard of ..

Next. Another big thing all her fans come up with is “The pics weren’t that bad” .. Stop comparing Miley’s pics to the society . You guys are idiots.. It’s not that other people have worse pics than her .. It’s that she’s a role model .. She’s on Disney for freaking sakes.. Disney channel stars are looked up by young kids.. And tweens .. they don’t need to be seing this girl topless and making out with another guy .. They may not be as bad as some of the other things are society has .. but it’s bad for her identity especially when she pulls the whole “God will guide me” piece of BS .. honestly her little good girl act is starting to fade. do you guys honestly think this girls a virgin! Come on!

goosshh.. Miley cyrus’s fans .. grow up .. stop using the same old things to try to protect her .. she’s already screwed up . so why not admit it and just say “although she’s a big screw up, i’m still a fan cuz Disney’s brainwashed me into thinking that she actually has talent” .. That way atleast you guys will be admitting the truth

She is 15 yrs. old. It’s her FATHER’S fault!!! He is using her popularity to boost his failing career. He posed for photos with her in positions that a father and teenage daughter should not be in also. Changing her name legally to her nickname as it is now her BRAND and makes them millions is another bad decision they have made. She has been overworked by her FATHER and this will give her a much needed rest. A 15 year old should not always be drinking Red Bull and Starbucks coffee. Miley seems hipped up all the time. GIVE THE KID A BREAK!!!! Good for Disney. Get out out of the spotlight and away from the paps and off of the internet for a while.

I think this is totally unfair! Just because of some pictures, they are not allowing her to be in the DC games. First off, she was hired by annie whatever and she did not get to choose how to pose, therefore i believe the photographer is at fault.Miley should not be deprived of furthering her career, it is not fair!

Miley and her people made the wrong call. Actually, it was just Miley who made the wrong call. Simply put, what is a 15 year old doing posing like that? Wait until you are legally an adult at least. Like all the other actresses are supposed to do according to the laws of our country. What is worse in this case is that Miley represented untainted youth and appeared very tainted indeed. Unforgivable.

Poor Miley! I mean, I wasn’t really offended by the photos in Vanity Fair, but I can see how certain people might be concerned by them — especially since she is considered to be a role model for so many young fans.

In truth, I’ve seen alot worse behavior on the bus than the poses that Miley struck for this photoshoot!

Well, I don’t care for Miley, so it doesn’t matter to me. I was disappointed in her actions given her age and role-model status, though.

I wonder if Disney is being tougher on her because of flack they got over being so soft on Vanessa, who was also 15 in her photos.

it was one mistake. she said sorry. let it go.
i’m a fan of miley but her photos have been leaked
THREE times! from her myspace and now a magazine.
she has to stop before this gets any worse.
maybe disney “grounded” her because they think she will learn

stop blaming vanessa in miley’s case. what i’m saying here is just it was miley’s fault. she knew that nothing will be personal if u in hollywood. she should take lesson from the other celeb and never took that picture but instead she did. think about it…and i love vanessa hudgens, i stick by her side when the scandal came out. and if you are truly miley’s fan, just stick by her side…
