Orlando Bloom is a Motorcycle Man

I have to agree with you. I think they had to take a month off so Orlando could rehearse his part and make it more believable. It won’t matter how he acts, he can’t erase what we witnessed the last couple of months. I just don’t know if I can stomach it anymore.

Didn’t a poster named Padme say that Orlando would go to London and that Miranda would eventually join him, and that there would be more pictures? Well, since he/she predicted something that came true, does that make Padme a real insider? What do you guys think?

Good idea, Anywho. I’m with you and totally agree. Fingers crossed for TRC, but I don’t want to watch or read about anything else (i.e. personal stuff and GF stuff), and if that’s all Orlando’s got to offer for entertainment value, I’m outta here.

Oh, and FroFro and GEVW, I really enjoyed your posts and wish you ladies the best! Too bad things didn’t work out the way we had hoped for Orlando. I had such high hopes for Orlando and really wanted to believe his friends and family had knocked some sense into him. :(

I doubt it will be a pap fest though. I do think that was the same padme as from before NY now. I just think this was to send a message.
They don’t want it to look as bad and obvious so little hints here and there.

Just remembered the Ted C. sighting with Vanessa Minillo from last month. That one must have been fake or made up, right? If Orlando really did take Vanessa out to make a kind or statement, or if he had his people phone it in, what does that say in terms of what we see in the Getty pictures with Miranda there and all? Why make a move like that with Vanessa, supposedly to get a message across, only to counter that move with this type of thing? Maybe it’s just me, but I sometimes see Orlando as a kind of human ping pong ball - back and forth with the things he does. I don’t get it at all.

I also find myself thinking of something really weird, and it’s okay if you guys laugh at me (I feel like a total fool now anyway, for obvious reasons! LOL! ), but it seems to me that if Orlando really wanted to be *loved* and in a *real* relationship with someone, and if he really wanted a certain type of woman in his life, wouldn’t he be actively trying to find her? Wouldn’t he avoid wasting or spending time on Miranda, etc., because that’s days and weeks and months wasted when he might have found the real thing somewhere? It’s like he’s okay with something superficial and PR involved, but so many of his fans seem to want so much more for him. I have to wonder if he really wants that for himself. Maybe he’s afraid of finding the real thing or doesn’t think he deserves it? :(

Sorry. Had to throw that thought out there. It was on my mind, along with the Padme predictions. The way he’s looking at Miranda seeming kind of into her is a 180 degree from where he was previously. Totally weird.

…….what they do now. There is just too much to try and forget and realistically, if I had friends that pulled this kind of crap I wouldn’t be hanging around for them either. So I see no point or value in hanging around.

When OB came on to the scene we were sold a package of goods about who he was, what he liked, what he didn’t like. I liked what I was sold and bought into it. Probably not a smart idea on my part. He was the type of person that I wanted to spend my money on to see his movies. It was a total package.

It appears to me that what we were sold is defective and I want my money back. It feels like false advertising.

I pay to see other actors in their movies but I feel that we were givien a false impression of him to sell him in his movies and when he no longer needs/wants to be the heart throb we see an entirely different way about him.

foxtails, then he has to carrythe dog and look miserable doing it. Not much in NY then he has to go to oz and we know how that played out.

I think there is fighting behind the scenes sometimes about all of this.
somthing must have happend with those myspace pictures and I will admit that poo changing his tone right around the same time is very odd to me.

I don’t know what to think at this point. I’ve already been made a fool of by casting my hopes in certain directions and believing in some posters and *wanting* better things to happen for Orlando, and *wanting* him to do what it takes to get himself out of whatever situation or predicament he may have been in. I had really hoped certain things were behind us and that Orlando was moving forward, with each passing day of Orlando out of the “spotlight” giving me hope, but people will sometimes do funny things in order to save face, I guess.

I don’t want to offend anyone here because I think most people here like Orlando, or at least wish good things for him, so I’m really sorry if this comes across the wrong way. Here we go: I get the feeling that without any acting jobs right now, and without definite work prospects after TRC, Orlando may need some things - and some people - to get him through this period. I really don’t enjoy saying that, but I get the feeling that it may be true. I also don’t enjoy saying that if strong, intelligent and independent women have been coming Orlando’s way, be they knockout bombshells or just reasonably attractive, he’s either been avoiding them, or he can’t hold their interest for very long, or he’s intimidated by them. Ditto for such women who also aren’t interested in his fame or his money. While he could be out looking for *that* kind of woman, he’s spending time with Miranda. It just makes me wonder if what some other posters have suggested in the past might be true - that Orlando can’t find any better or do any better because the kind of women *we* might like to see him with just aren’t interested in him once they talk to him or really get to know him. Does any of that make sense? I’m not trying to bash him. I’m just putting my speculations out there for other people to think about and add to.

I don’t know what else to make of things. How can we call Miranda shallow and manipulative and a user, etc., while allowing Orlando’s slate to be kept basically free of those adjectives when he continues to *choose* to spend time with her? If we insist that he’s *nothing* like her and she’s just using him, then are we back to the speculation about her having something on him? I mean, where do we go from here? Do we assume that he’s with her because he *chooses* to be, after the pap fest bonanza and WireImage lunch date, etc?

No matter how we slice it and dice it, the meat ain’t Kosher.

Well Ed, since you are asking, I just had my roasted BBQ crow and bitter cabbage soup for dinner, and ate my words for dessert. It tasted great, at first, but then was a bit unsettling going down, but I ate it anyway. I hope I dont get indigestion! LOL!

What do you want me to say? I, like everyone, got sucked into the weirdness and odd behaviours, etc that we have seen for 9 months or so. We got the VERY RUDE posts from either her, her family, her friends or her fans, all of which represent her in some way. We got rudeness from the lot of them, for even QUESTIONING why she must say stupid inuendos in her interviews, let the Sydney papers refer to him as handbags and luggage, etc., basically treating the whole relationship with very little respect, and him with very little respect. Why should I begin to think this person is a nice person? I realize its Orlandos life, and have said that all along. What mistake I made is getting caught up in all the questions and speculations.

But, like everyone who also thought it was a done deal, I was wrong. I’m not mortally wounded as he is not one of my mates or family members that I should be so concerned with that it keeps me up at night. What Orlando does never has, or will cause me emotional turmoil or anything, just a bit of disappointment that he prefers all this (and the wars between his fans, her fans etc) to working, and giving his fans something to discuss about his work. I realize also that he didnt choose to become famous, but he did, and he must have known that would happen once LOTR was released.

I will do what I used to and keep my main focus on his work and public achievements. If he continues to date Miranda, that doesnt mean I have to be interested in her. She can keep right on doing what she has been doing, or hopefully she actually has learned from reading these boards how she appears to others and might, just might become a less shallow and self serving human being in public.

Who knows, maybe Bloom prefers all that. Maybe he thinks his whole fandom is completely bonkers and wants to unload the whole lot of us for trashing his girlfriend. Maybe. I started to be a fan in spite of who he was dating, and I look forward to either seeing him start working again, or seeing nothing at all in regards to his relationships. I used to try and stay the course with the fact that I thought they should all try a little harder to keep those things private, but realistically, its relationships good and bad that sell in Hollywood. I prefer acting in movies, but hey, thats just me. I hope he goes on his trip with his cousin. I hope he gets The Red Circle. Beyond that, he’s made his statement in his true form (pictures rather than words) that the rest is none of our business.
