The ship’s got a hole in it, the wood is rotting, the mast is shredded and the rudder’s shot. Steering is next to impossible.

Fans come and go. The really talented and good actors can hold on to their fans, stay and have long term careers, and they also treat their fans with respect. Intelligent and talented actors know just how far to push some things and what games *not* to play.

Someone warn poor Mr. Barnes. Little does he know that he will now have to live a life of celibacy because he is inheriting some of Orlando’s loonier “fans”
Maybe he still has time to re-think his career. It’s a bit too late to re-think Narnia, though. I’m sure that these “fans” will take it upon themselves to criticize his choice of role because Narnia is tanking at the box office. “He just wasn’t ready for a lead role’, ‘he should have known that an audience wouldn’t accept him as a lead’…..etc. Good luck Mr. Barnes. You’re going to need it. That, and a very thick skin.

Ben Barnes may not make the same mistakes Orlando made career wise and publicity wise. Hopefully, he and his people will learn from the missmanagement of Bloom’s career. He might also be smart enough to keep his private life and lady friends away from the pap cameras as his public profile grows. If he’s got what it takes to be a leading man, his work will prove it, and audiences will respond favorably. Whether he’s celibate or a ladies man shouldn’t be an issue if he learns from Orlando’s mistakes. An actor’s private life is nobody’s business. Some actors know how to keep it that way, and their choices reflect that.

Didn’t know Narnia was tanking at the box office. Did it pull in more money in the first weekend than KOH did? Or Elizabethtown? Ben seems to already have some steady work lined up and a growing fan base. And Orlando? No work and a dwindling fan base.

I don’t think Ben needs the luck. If he’s got the talent, the skill, some good common sense and good people on his team, he’ll do all right. Orlando’s in need of some luck right now, I’d say.

You are far too chubby for Orlandos liking, it took him 4 years to get kate as skeltal as he needed, he may deny it was all down to him but it was- the poor cow was mocked merciless by him for years that she was “too big”, now it has stuck with her- she was healthy when she first met him, now look at her- think that was all her own work?? OOh i wouldnt want to be you for all the tea in China.

According to those emails posted on delphi, if she actually DOES pull stunts like this just to piss his fans off then it worked like a charm. I am no fan of this girl but if you guys and take a step back an reread your posts , you’ll realize that this thread was thrown into complete chaos over nothing.

I really don’t see the difference between this sighting and the other hundreds they pulled during “Kerbloom Tour ‘08: Twu Luv 4Ever!”. It probably just came as a shock to everyone because posters have wrapped their minds around them being broken up since they dropped out of sight for a while.

I bet her and her flunkies are somewhere laughing their heads off over the foolishness on both sides, shippers and haters alike. I say we not fuss and fight with each other. I say we put on our best Lynard Skynard t -shirts, and grab a bunch of Zippo lighters and let them entertain us with their tour of love. Whether they crash and burn or live happily ever, its still entertaining to watch them keep trying. Why else would they put it out there if they didn’t want us to watch?

She hasn’t learned anything. The difference is simple. The Pr before was under her control for her contracts, for her career. Oz and the LA pap fest. It seems fairly clear he got some measure of control once that phase ended and now the game continues but more on his terms. No parading in, just these pictures from the dinner. But make no mistake, a game it is. The rules may change but the name of the game remains the same. The only reason she isn’t prattling on at the moment is she doesn’t have anything to promote so there’s no constant access to the press. But the photo ops and press had already lessened. There was next to nothing in Oz and this event is nothing too. It’s the game.

For whoever said that this was for fun, I laugh. These events are work for celebrities. They are there to be seen and have their picture taken. And so they did. But his rules, he never appeared to want to walk red carpets or make grand entrances in the past and he doesn’t know. It’s a step back but again, his rules, not hers.

If those emails are legitimate and she does read here then every time someone jumps ship she laughs. Can’t blame her. As for me, I intend to keep watching until the titanic sinks, it’s already started and simply because Miranda and OB are still on board doesn’t mean it’s going to make it back home.
